We're extremely pleased with St-Laurent Academy. The individualized attention, the positive collaborative classroom environment(s), and strong culture of student inclusion have made for a really amazing school-student (or even school-family) experience. As parents we have constant and easy access to teachers and administrators and are kept up to date with activities, trips, school events and student needs, and enjoy proactive communication in general. For families leading busy, active lives and often moving in multiple simultaneous directions, this is a wonderful thing. Our son is very happy and thriving here, and we're happy that he's happy and thriving. Highly recommend.

Love the daycare at St-Laurent. Our oldest started in the infant room and is now in the toddler room. Our youngest will be starting soon. Would 100% recommend St-Laurent Academy.

From my short time there on a visit, the teachers that i met were very supportive and helped me understand the basic way that the school operates.

Our daughter has been going to the daycare at St-Laurent Academy for the past 2 years and we couldn't be happier with our choice. They have amazing educators, and they offer top-notch programming, including bilingual and French programs.

Andrea Crupi

St-Laurent Academy provides a positive and welcoming environment for all students, parents and staff. The school offers engaging, hands on programs, which support a variety of student needs. It has been a pleasure working at the school for the past 7 years!

Great School with a great Staff! St Laurent Learning Academy have always been friendly and kind to our company when they host their annual back to School Fun Fair and BBQ. Everyone there is always smiling and seem genuinely enthusiastic and it shows!.

We had a really bad 6 month experience at St Laurent Academy with our then 14-month-old, such that even years after the fact, it still upsets me thinking back on it. Being inexperienced first time parents with little daycare options for kids under 18 months, we sent our kid there because our friends sent their kid there, and we thought he could start with a friend. There were many unpleasant things that we experienced and witnessed throughout the time (such as the lack of hygiene awareness from the caregivers, e.g. changing one child's poo diaper on the cold floors, without washing hands and moves onto the next diaper; our child got violently sick for 3 weeks out of the first month of attending, and we highly suspect it was due to their hygiene habits; the caregivers were also older and lacked in any energy to participate or lead any plays or interactions with the toddlers, the little kids are always left standing outside in the cold doing not much of anything with hardly any toys on the ground every time I go for pickup, it's a sad sight; the actual room itself was also uninviting and cold, without any colorful toys or books in plain sight, it was a stark comparison to the other daycares we sent him to after). The school requires a term's (6 months) fee paid up front, and no refund whatsoever (even when we had our doubts the day after the initial visit, they read our email of concern, and instead of responding, cashed our cheque right away, claiming there's no way we can change our minds now), which is why we stuck it out for the 6 months being it was a lot of money to lose. As soon as it was over, we ran for the hills. I would strongly advise any parent considering this school to seek elsewhere.

I went to this school for only a year, and it honestly changed my life on education. I came from a rough school in the U.S. and coming here absolutely open new doors on my journey through high school. The principal Mr. Bill is amazing, he’s not a stereotypical principal that enforces strict rules and brings the students down after doing something “bad”. He believes that learning comes in all sorts of form, and is different with every child. Ms. Crupi and Mrs. Doherty are amazing and can help you through either a hard time at school, or even at home and socially. The high school principal, Mr. Mook Sang is absolutely the most unique teacher I have ever been in a class with. His approach to learn is amazing, he makes sure (along with other teachers/staff) that you never fail and always are on track. If I had the chance, I would absolutely come back! My favourite school in the whole entire world. Would recommend any student to come here. Learning isn’t anything unless you come here. -Logan Lalonde class of 2021 (grade 9)

The school is not what rated for. Personally with my experience at this school I believe public schools are much better than this school. My son was in their preschool and we had such a bad experience with the school. The school is not clean, the teachers not well educated, they hire not experience and less labour teachers to save more money. If you care about your children future don't send them here.

St-Laurent is a great school with great educators and amazing facilities. They taught my son so much that a regular daycare facility just doesn't have the infrastructure to do. We never really had him in many extra classes, since at st-laurent he had every week: play based fun learning activities, science classes, music and gymnastics. Also, he regularly had offsite visits to many interesting places (farm boy, marsh, museums, pumpkin patch, etc). He ate super healthy food, he learnt how to speak French (and is trying to teach me), he loves all the teachers (we do too) and he made great friends. But above all, it was fantastic that every morning I went to work knowing that my son was with very caring and loving teachers that knew him well. My son has grown into a happy, confident and very knowledgeable kid and we thank the st-Laurent's staff for that.

My husband and I are thoroughly delighted with St. Laurent Academy. The teachers are both supremely competent and wonderfully caring and engaged with students.

Is this school exists at all????? I have been trying to call this school for more than 8 months to register my kids. Left them a lot of messages but no one got back to me. I have decided to register them in another school because I think the school is not organized at all. I can't trust the school they don't value to people who leave them messages.

I had such great expectations for the school. Unfortunately, they didnt come to pass. We registered our daughter in Grade 11. The classes were small but the girls were out numbered by the boys 12 to 1. She is a very artistic individual so she was bullied and harrassed by one fellow classmate concentrating on STEM subjects. He bullied her to the point she quit going to classes. It is unfortunate that the environment was so hostile and toxic.

Small classes. Personal attention for some student depending of the needless.

Our experience with this institution was very disappointing. We had high hopes for both of our daughters attending this school, engaging the school on two separate occasions for both the toddler and kindergarten programs, only to be disappointed and dumbfounded by the poor communication and unprofessional standards of their administrative and admissions folks. We constantly had to follow-up with them on emails, with little to no response from them. They even canceled a virtual tour on us last minute with very little to no notice after we followed up with them a number of times. For an institution that prides itself on high standards of communication to parents and academic excellence I expected much better.

Amazing school amd amazing teachers. Made a world of difference for my son.

No good school. No good teachers, unprofessional. Do not send your kids to this school. Its a joke!! All the 5 stars in the review are from the teachers who work there. Not sure if they are qualified enough. For the exorbitant fees of around 20000$, they should at least have good teachers.
