Owners and staff are very friendly. Very impressed. I cannot thank the people who work in this day care enough. They are kind and amazingpeople who take wonderful care of my little girl. I'm so grateful to them and my daughter has flourished in their care. I cannot say enough good things.

Health needs to walk in this place. It's disgusting and the supervisors has lied to my placement prof that I quit but they told put me on supply even tho I'm a student and never called me in and said I was a no show! As a student do not work there...and they were agressive to my friends child. 0 stars for me! I'll never forget this disgusting cruel place!!!

The staff in the rooms are fantastic, the actual ECE's and RECEs. The management is sub-par however. They gave away our spots while I was scrambling to make subsidy and a job that didn't want to adjust my schedule work. My kids loved it there, and loved their teachers. The baby room in particular was fantastic, my son was in care there from 3 months old and he was always happy and well cared for.

I had both my children in magic pencils on different occasions. From newborn to 18 months I didn't like to facility. I found the baby's room to be very cramped and dark. However, at the time I only kept my son there for a few weeks. However... as they go older and moved into the toddler / preschool rooms I found it to be very nice. Great friendly staff... nice meals .... and plenty of outdoor playtime and free play time. they did crafts and made friends and I found my kids were always excited to go to daycare every day. Would definitely recommend to anyone whos children are ages 18months to 4 years.

My kids went there for a few years and they were amazing

Driver of the Black Day Care van parks illegally at local schools to run in and pick up the day care kids. This happens nearly every day, handicap spaces and access ramps get blocked repeatedly. Too bad there is no local bylaw enforcement to deal with this.

My son has been in daycare since 6 months old as I am a full time single parent/student. Ive had him in 4 Oshawa daycare's including Byng ave for 8 months and the Ymca for a little over a year and i have to say, our experience at Magic Pencils has been, by far, our best daycare experience. My son is 4 and on the autism spectrum and we are still waiting for the full diagnosis. He has been at magic pencils for 3 months now. The staff has been amazing working with me, my son, and Grandview and i am so grateful! Knowledgeable and attentive, they've always treated me with kindness and respect. Despite the iffy location I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH HIM HERE!!!

My autistic son has been enrolled in this daycare since September 2015. Not my first choice but the only place with availability for both of my kids at the time. They know he has special needs, they got signed consent weeks ago to find him extra help for summer when he's out of school. Waited until this week to tell me they want me to call around and find the help. Two days later after I left a voicemail at the number they gave me to call and no response yet, the daycare hands me a later stating that they will not be able to provide care for my son and that June 30. TWO WEEKS from today is his last day. I work full time and now have to find time during business hours while I'm working to find spots for both of my children in a different daycare. Trying to tell me that my son is very disruptive if he doesn't have the teachers undivided attention. Good Riddance magic pencils. I hope the health department shuts this place down.

Happy my kids are in a new daycare. Some of the staff are amazing ????, but other not so good. There are needles outside the daycare from the local junkies. Few things I didn’t like about daycare kids are admitted with hand foot and mouth and u can see they have it but staff still allow them to come. And there is a major problem with lice. When u complain nothing is done to fix the problem. Happy I left but miss the staff I do like
