My experience at UMCA has been amazing from day one. I have attended UMCA for nearly 9 years now, and I don't have enough good things to say about the school. Throughout my experience, all the teachers that have taught me have given me the best education. UMCA provides everything a child needs to acquire a good education and social skills. There are also educational trips and activities that further allow a child to grow and have amazing experiences. Overall, I highly recommend UMCA for its amazing learning environment and high education standards.

This school is amazing except the driver and food. The teachers are super friendly and I have been going here for 8 years so far so good.Also in sport we get to go through different sports such as floor hockey,basketball,soccer,baseball and more.

UMCA still has its kindergarten in this location (in Centre Street) whereas its main location is in Dufferin Street in Vaughan, in the Pavilion Fitness Club building. My son was graduated from its high school in 2015 and my daughter is still there in high school. My wife, I and the children love the attitude, the care and the professional education that is provided at UMCA.

This is a wonderful school ! and it was a blessing to find when I moved to canada 6 years ago. The classes are small and the teachers are very polite and helpfull. The academic program is very good helping you prepare yourself for higher levels. The staff in general is very welcoming and nice especially towards new students. Through entertaining educational trips, sporting activities, and hard work UMCA builds an unbreakable bond with the students. If anyone is looking for a good, reliable private school this is the place to go.

I have been teaching with UMCA Rich Tree Academy for over 10 years now. The school offers a curriculum above and beyond that which you would find at a typical public school. Students are offered a balance between academic learning, physical fitness, the arts and social well-being. There is a strong emphasis on the languages of English, Russian and French that are all taught from grade one. Mathematics and Science have a great focus at our school. The Physical Education Program includes all regular sports with the addition of Skating and Swimming, as our school is located within a facility that has both an ice rink and a swimming pool. "Masterpieces" are created from our students with the expertise of our extremely talented visual arts teacher. Every elementary grade puts on a full musical theatre production each year. In addition, special workshops, guest speakers and Yoga are included within our school program to help build a well-rounded individual. I am proud to be a part of the UMCA community.

This school is a complete rip of and is absolutely not work 16 grand, the experience at this school was terrible compared to a actual school and not a rented out half gym training center. also it is very clear that all the good reviews are fake we were asked to write good reviews and if we didn't we got suspended it was unbelievable

I have been studying in UMCA RichTree Academy for 3 years, and throughout my student life here, I had lots of unforgettable experiences. Besides fascinating trips including graduation and skiing, I have very much enjoyed every minute of any class I took. Small amount of students in classrooms and brilliant teachers allowed me to expand my knowledge and earn high marks, while making each lesson fun and exciting. I can confidently say that UMCA have well prepared me for university. In addition, each teacher is also a mentor who can help you out in a difficult situation. Mr. Kim, our English teacher, is a great example of a smart, experienced man, who will teach you grammar and how to write a perfect essay, while giving an advice for university applications. Mrs. Irina, our math teacher, is a open, wise person, who will make math learning easy and interesting for any student. Overall, I have very much enjoyed my education and life in UMCA, where I made new friends and acquired knowledge that will help me in my further journey.

I'm working at UMCA Rich Tree Academy as an Office Administrator, and I can say that this is one of the best schools in Thornhill. The mangers of the school are taking the education process very seriously, and they treat each kid individually, taking into account all aspects of the children's life. The kids here have not only a safe and fun environment, but also very challenging, opening their mind to subjects that don't exist in the public education system. The managers of the school are treating each kid as if he was their own. The school offers a healthy snack and warm lunch which includes soup, and a main course. The school's grads get accepted to prestigious universities and get great scholarships. This school is the right path to a bright and successful future. I strongly recommend it.

so far I've had a great learning experience at umca, this is the first course i had taken here and I enjoy learning here a lot. the teacher ms.Irina is very kind and helpful to everyone including myself, she takes a lot of time to make sure every student understands and is prepared for any test. I never write reviews, but I feel that this one is very important, and I hope some parents may find it useful!!..so here goes... One of the hardest tasks as a parent has been selecting a school for our children, and as most overly-concerned parents, we had interviewed at least 6 establishments, finding UMCA was an incredible blessing. With our oldest now in SK and youngest in JK, we have now been with UMCA for nearly 3 years, and I can say with confidence how truly amazing the staff and the school really are. Beyond the exceptional approach to learning, the enriched/advanced, carefully selected and tailored curriculum, there is also culture, integrity, discipline, kindness, friendship and tradition that is being taught to our children. It is a multi-lingual school, that not only offers a home-like safety comfort zone, but also dietitian approved healthy all hot/cold meals of the day, and many extra-curricular activities available onsite-- which is an amazing convenience for any parent! -- soccer, ping pong, specialized art, skating, chess-- my 5 year old has been playing chess for 2 years now, holding tournaments at home, and beating his grandfathers!! I can never say enough about this school--and always recommend it to any parent, my children absolutely love it. It is an environment in which they thrive. The most important value within is that my children are learning to LOVE to learn and impenetrable confidence, which is the cornerstone for a bright, successful future ahead. The directors of this school have invested their passion into its creation, and the results speak for themselves.

This is a great private school. The education is way above public school level. Teachers, staff, and students are really nice. Thankfully the food got better. After this school moved the space got way more open, with many more things to do like an art and drama studio, a full gym, and park. The class sizes are small, whichi s a good thing since each student gets a more 1 on 1 experience with the teacher, and gets to know his class mates better.

I only have one complain : to much homework. I think all of us students think that. School is not the only thing we have almost all of us have extra activtes. My first child came to UMCA into JK and ended after grade 8. Yes, 10 years of feeling not exactly like in school, but part of family. Great managers, great teachers. They love children, they love working with children. My daughter enjoyed these 10 years, so with the second child there was no doubt where to go. She went to JK, now in SK and I hope we will continue to attend UMCA in school.

When you send your kids to UMCA's pre-school you can go to work knowing that they will get maximum attention and care possible, they will be provided with new knowledge every day in a positive, love-to-learn environment. Your kids will enjoy a healthy restaurant prepared fresh hot lunch every day. The teachers and assistants are professionals dedicated to their work and most of them have been working there for many years which also proves that UMCA has created a great atmosphere. It really feels like a family. My three kids got a great start at UMCA's JK and SK, and they loved every day of it.

Umca is definitely not the best place for a child. Especially because of 1 teacher, Dennis Baranov. He always bullies students and puts them down a lot. He called a student a clown and made them wear an XX Large T-shirt and then laughed. He always picks favourites and ignores the other students or is rude to them. If you are willing to let a teacher treat you like this then this is a school for you!

I chose to come to UMCA as all the teachers are very helpful here. UMCA makes feel like you always have somoeone to talk to also because in public schools there are around 30 kids in a class here the classes are much smaller making it easier for you to ask questions and more time to sit with the teachers one on one. One of the teachers that I really enjoy having here in UMCA is Mr. Kim as he always there to talk to. Not only for english but in life in general. He has also taught me alot of new techniques for english that will help me in universities and future jobs.

My experience being a student here for the summer grade 12 functions course has been great. It's really helped me to ensure I'm thoroughly prepared for calculus in the coming year.
