Our daughter has been going to Toddler class at Old Bronte Road location for the last one year. She absolutely loves it and is very excited to go to Montessori every morning. The teachers are wonderful and very committed. The curriculum is excellent. The facility is good especially the big backyard. The management is very efficient and open to feedback and suggestions. We will definitely recommend this wonderful place as we have experienced very positive growth in our daughter because of her going to Western Heights Montessori

My son attended Western Heights for 2 years and I could not be happier! The staff are amazing specially Ms. Sonia and Ms. Archana. I was really happy with class sizes and how the program was running! Helen, the owner is very approachable and very accommodating. My son is in SK now but I still go back there for summer camps! I highly recommend this school!

I cannot say enough good things about WH. Helen is wonderful, very organized and is very accommodating, and the teachers are just amazing! My son, Kareem, has been going there since March (would have started him sooner if they had an infant room!), and we've since discovered that his development is slightly delayed. Helen, Ms. Fiona, Ms. Dulaini and Ms. Sonia have been absolutely instrumental in advancing Kareem's development, and offer us and him so much support. They are very flexible and want to do what's best for our child. And the fact that Kareem has the opportunity to interact with Ms. Arun and Ms. Archana is the cherry on the topping. In addition to the family-like atmosphere of the school, I LOVE the physical building. It's a very intimate environment, and each kid has an opportunity to be who they are. Finally, the education is great! English, French, Mandarin, Yoga and Music - what more can we want? I highly recommend WH - don't go looking anywhere else!

The best place , my sons has been there for past two years n I have seen how he has grown . They take very good care of kids , very affectionate and at the same time stern ,love their teaching approach . My son has been attending Western Heights for more than a year now. He started at 15 months old in the Toddler class and he is now ready to move into the Casa Class at 2 1/2 years old. What a great experience for my son. This is a fabulous school. As a Teacher I have high expectations and Helen and her staff have met and exceeded these expectations. The children are engaged in rich, authentic and meaningful lessons and activities, with Ontario Curriculum connections. Lessons and activities are planned in collaboration with staff, students, and parents. The lessons/activities allow for individual creativity and achievement, through personalized tasks and assessments. I appreciate and value the open and regular communication with the director and the teachers to ensure my son reaches his full potential. There's much collaboration and also valuable feedback provided to me on an ongoing basis. Through individualized reporting and assessment, and on going parent-teacher communication, my son is growing in all areas; and his skills and talents are nurtured. A bonus is the daily communication through a Smartphone app which includes pictures from the day. There are many special events that connect the community and make us parents feel so valued and included. The staff are experienced, professional, safe, creative, positive, organized, and most importantly have a great rapport with the students. They have structured routines and the kids enjoy up to two hours of outdoor playtime in their large private playground. Another big bonus is the organic/homemade healthy snacks and meals prepared on site for the kids; as well as language classes, music classes, and yoga, which enriches mind, body, and soul. Both my children are at Western Heights and my husband and I couldn't be happier with our choice. The staff there really care and take pride in their work which make it a great place for learning. The programs they have - Spanish, Mandarin, French, Yoga - are quite impressive! They also use an app to communicate with parents on a daily basis, giving you a brief summary of their day and progress. THANK YOU to all the staff at WH for loving what they do and really making a difference :)

I love the great backyard of this centre! In oakville, it's very rare to find a private green filled backyard - this centre has a huge yard overlooking the woods where my son could run and play to spend his endless energy. ;) Loved the covered deck area where he can go out and play even if it rains. The menu is very good too - lots of fruits and vegetables and they only serve organic milk.

I don’t know if the teachers are good, but I just called this School for more information, they told me they are full and asked me to call maple grove location, then shut down the call with even I was still talking. I m looking to send my lil one to a school that he can learn how to be a polite and good behaved boy. Not to where who shutdown my calls

Both of my children attended Western Heights Montessori, one from the Toddler class to JK and the other from Toddler to pre-JK. I feel that once they enter public school they will be bored because of how much they have learned and progressed at WH! My daughter is at a reading level where she is capable of reading chapter books at age six. They have a beautiful, spacious, ravine-backed playground area where the kids get lots of fresh air and sunshine and even a covered deck so the kids can still go outside even if it is not ideal weather conditions. The teachers are amazing. They instill discipline but also show care and affection towards the students. Also, the owner Helen is amazing at keeping parents informed and constantly a presence at the school despite managing multiple locations and super responsive if we ever have questions. Through daily pictures and reports on KidsNote, I always felt I was kept up-to-date with what my children were learning, eating, and more. In particular, Ms. Sana (who taught my son) and Ms. Archana (who taught my daughter) have helped my children grow so much. They both did a terrific job. You could tell how much they both care about progressing students' abilities and caring for them on a personal level. My kids say they miss them very much. They always had such detailed anecdotes and specific examples about their time in class, about strengths and development points. I wish the teachers could come along with him as they graduate!

This is a great Montessori! They are amazing and very supportive. My son attended for one school year and during the summer. They helped him develop in his speaking, letters, numbers and confidence overall. We could not have succeeded in my son's development without the support of Western Heights and especially of Ms. Archana. It was a tough decision to leave and put my child into JK as they are very engaging and extremely supportive. They offer before and after program as well which took the stress off of worrying about timelines. My daughter was able to attend the summer program as well and she enjoyed it. I can go on and on about the benefits of Western Heights Montessori, however bottom line if you are looking for a great Montessori you don't have to look any further. We really love this place and everything that has to offer. What makes the most are the people working there. Amazing teachers and administrators with true passion for what they do, always accommodating and ready to help. The kids are getting the true Montessori education, have tones of fun in school and in various activities happening around the school. Highly recommended and a school you should really stop if you are looking for a place where your kid is in good hands!

My son attended this facility for one and a half years and has transitioned from the younger class to the older class. Absolutely wonderful place! The teachers actually take care of your child's needs, they teach languages and yoga and most importantly, self-care. My son has seen huge strides in his time there. The facility has a huge private backyard play area which is rarely seen with a lot of other facilities. They also have updates with pictures everyday and even served my son's food following our dietary restrictions! Strongly recommend

My son currently attends Western Heights and my daughters also attended the school. It's a wonderful school with exceptional teachers. My daughters are currently in grade school and are excelling in their classes. I know that their experience at Western Heights gave them a head start in their education. My son loves being at the school and is so advance in his counting and alphabet letters. I would and have recommended this school to family and friends.

The new owner did a fantastic job transforming this used-to-be a daycare to a wonderful montessori program. My son was in the preschool and now the casa room at the Centre - he loves going there everyday. The new owner is very engaged in the program and is on site everyday to listen to parents' feedback and concerns. We even now have an app to receive daily reports and pictures! The whole centre is very clean and organized. I feel great to leave my son at the centre knowing he is in great hands.

Nothing but compliments, this is an amazing school with great staff and a wonderful learning environment for preschool kids of all ages. Our son spent a full year in senior class and we could only wish we had found this place earlier. If you are looking for a facility that provides everything a child needs to develop, this is it.

One of the best Montessori schools in Oakville - my son absolutely loves coming here every day. There are so many educational activities that Helen and the staff do with the children from show and tell, drama, yoga, daily French class, and library to name a few! The teachers are not only experienced but extremely hands on and loving. They genuinely care about your child and you feel the warmth of this school as soon as you walk in the door. The menu is always changing with the seasons, you recieve daily progress reports sent to you (pictures included!) and the outdoor space for the children is unheard of - huge outdoor playground, enclosed deck for too hot/cold days, and it is completely enclosed by trees and greenery. I highly recommend to any parent looking for an excellent Montessori School for their children. Great job Helen and staff!!

Western Heights has been exceptional for both my children from day one. The teacher's are experienced and hands on with the kids throughout the day. My children look forward to attending daily! I think its great that there is the added value of the kids having French, Music and Yoga in their curriculum. Also, the daily feedback regarding the kids day via Kids Note is amazing! I always know about their day and what their learning. Thank you for the amazing dedication in developing little minds!

I went to the school's open house a couple of weeks ago and was really impressed by the cleanliness of the school. The whole school was freshly painted with new Montessori material and with lots of great natural light. The owner was very friendly and explained in great detail about their program. The part I love the most is they have French, Music and Yoga classes! I have signed up my child right away. Definitely a school worth the visit.

My daughter has attended Western Heights Montessori Academy since she was two and half years old. The teachers at Western Heights have guided her through several important milestones, i.e. potty training, working on a project independently, collaborating with her friends to achieve goals, and etc. During the recent COVID-19 situation, the owner, Helen, reacted promptly and organized complimentary online sessions to provide both students and parents some social gatherings through the internet! Professional! Reliable! Responsive! Highly recommended!

We joined our toddler at Western Heights Casa1 few months back and we can confidently say that it is one of the best decisions we have taken regarding him. His teachers Ms Archana, Ms Arun, Ms Lauren are very caring and do what's best for him. My son's time is well utilized. He is given many activities to do and so he is well occupied. The best part is he is having fun doing these activities and in the process learning too. At the end of each and every day he has something exciting to share with us. My review will be incomplete without the mention of Helen, the foundation of this academy. Helen is very professional and approachable. Whenever I have had any doubts or concerns related to academy, Helen has resolved it instantly. She is focused and involved in each and every aspect of the academy and I am very happy my son is in good hands. This academy with its huge outdoor playground and lots of indoor activities including music, yoga , French, mandarin, puzzles and drama is a winner in every aspect. Thank you Helen, Ms Archana, Ms Arun, Ms Pei and Ms Lauren for genuinely caring for my son and for creating a perfect well balanced environment for him where learning and fun go hand in hand.

We highly recommend Western Heights Montessori Academy for numerous reasons. Our son has attended this daycare for the past three summers. We initially enrolled our son the summer before he started junior kindergarten on the advice of our neighbour. This proved to be a very wise decision. The daycare made the transition from home life to regular school extremely smooth. In addition, our son has consistently made exceptional academic & personal progress by attending Western Heights. Without a doubt, the genuinely caring approach & personal attention by the daycare teachers and owner have greatly contributed to our son's on-going success. Likewise, Helen takes a personal interest in preparing her newsletters and reports always ensuring parents are informed and up-to-to date on daily & weekly daycare activities. Also the teachers at our son's public school & his speech therapists are always commenting on how much he has benefited from attending Western Heights! In addition, it is especially comforting to see our son excited & happy every morning to attend the daycare. We cannot not thank Helen & her staff enough for all their outstanding efforts & would highly recommend Western Heights Academy above & beyond any other daycare. -Irene Gera

Wetsern Heights Montessori Maple Grove Campus has been amazing for my toddler son. The transition from home to school was seamless all due to the caring and dedication from staff especially Ms. Melina. I love the kidsnote app and that you can a daily update with pictures of what your little ones are up to each day. This is a wonderful school with wonderful staff. Thank you Western Heights!

I don't recommend this facility. They asked us for a deposit (aka. registration fee) just to be put on the wait list. This is illegal in Ontario as the government passed new laws September 2016 banning deposits on wait lists. Unless you pay extra fees, their hours are 8:45am to 3:45pm which is also significantly shorter than most other facilities we visited which run from 7am to 6pm (with no extra fee). On the positive side, the children here look very happy and the teachers are experienced - just bad management. Avoid this place if you can!

My son has been attending Western Heights since the age of 3 and we had elected to stay there until he finished JK. He really enjoyed the variety of experiences and learning opportunities (including community outreach). Helen (the director) is very responsive and helpful; while all the teachers (my son had Miss Archana) were very insightful, caring and really helped my child grow in the past two years. I would (and have!) highly recommend Western Heights to many parents who want to send their kids to a montessori program. It is a smaller school compared to others (which was one of the reasons why we had chosen this particular school) and I really love the close communication we have had with the staff and teachers.

Both of our kids went through the Western Heights Montessori program. They flourished under the wonderful care of the teachers. We looked forward to the daily report and pictures of what the kids were doing and learning that day. We were impressed by the wide range of special classes (music, yoga, soccer, French, and Mandarin ) on top of their well run Montessori program! There was a large range of themes and topics covered. Our kids certainly gained a lot of worldly knowledge. We also loved that the kids had access to large green outdoor space and playground structure. We highly recommend Western Heights!

This is a great new Montessori school I would recommend to anyone! I found the school through google and went for a tour with the owner. During my tour, I saw all the children working on their Montessori material - teachers were smiling and everyone seemed so happy. I have toured many other day cares before and haven't seen any classroom as peaceful as this one! Owner also told me about their promotion of before and after school care discount for early registration. It was an excellent deal! Sold right away!
