A very professional, small but friendly, family owned Montessori, a great start for first timers or children that are doing better in smaller groups. This school feels like family, everybody is very nice and comforting for little ones. I recommend them as a teacher & parent.

I have known Sophia for years both personally and professionally as a teacher in the TDSB and I have to say that she was one of our favourite teachers! I have visited her new Montessori school during the Open House this Summer and was so impressed! I only wish she had opened it when my kids were young enough to attend. The small class sizes and organic meals for starters are amazing. Add in her special touches like micro-greening right in the classroom and the beautifully landscaped outdoor space and this place is literally a dream come true! I remember Sophia telling me that there weren't any schools around her that shared her philosophy of what she envisioned for her kids in a Montessori school so she created her own. Now that's an entrepreneurial spirit! Her warm and compassionate energy is an asset in anything she does and I have a feeling that we will see more 'La Fontaine' Montessori schools in our future! Come to Toronto next!!!

I had the pleasure to be a part of La Fontaine Montessori Preschool Team. As a current student of Early Childhood Education, I have been able to learn the Montessori Method of Education. To me, this was an amazing experience. Sophia (owner) had the patience to work with me, to help me understand the philosophy of the Montessori Method of learning. I was fortunate to see the exemplary educational system from a different approach with a high standard. The French program is a huge asset of the students learning skills as well. La Fontaine preschool provides an environment of learning which focuses on the strengths of each students and will help them to improve their weakness. As a parent and future Educator I highly recommend La Fontaine Montessori Preschool.

As a former employee of La Fontaine Montessori Preschool I have had a positive, enriching experience during my tenure. I worked there when the school was just opened and it was delightful to participate in the creating of a rich, nurturing environment, a classical...very authentic Montessori setting of the materials combined with the French program that is being offered at the school. The small staff and the owners create a wonderful learning setting for the kids enrolled and the natural playground is an enchanting addition where the outdoor activities take place. The excellence of the program combined with the balanced, nutritious meals that offer organic, healthy alternatives are also to be mentioned and all in all these make La Fontaine a warm, special preschool to be in and of which I am proud to have been part of. Her number one priority is her students educational needs, She is very committed to providing a healthy, safe and professional environment for her classroom. I would highly recommend her.
