My son has been here for his after school program and I must say the facilities and atmosphere is absolutely fantastic. The staff is loving, encouraging and very supportive and bus pickup from school very prompt. For my son this was like a home away from home and he has enjoyed his time here. Both of my sons attended Uptown Yonge Preschool, and I could not have been more thrilled with their time there. The teachers are kind, compassionate, highly knowledgeable and fun! The small environment was perfect for my boys' first "school" experience, and it meant that teachers could really take their time to get to know children, and to help new children adjust, no matter how long it takes. They also involve parents in activities like a mother's day tea, field trips, family reading days, etc. We feel so lucky to have discovered this gem of a school!

My kid started her pre-school with UYP. Right from day 1, the director and faculty have been very welcoming and responsive. They gave us a good school tour and helped the kid transition into school mode very soon. She loves going there. They have an inclusive environment and are always open to learn and encourage kids about learning new cultures.

Incredible preschool and staff! My son is now in school but remembers his experience so fondly he asks to go back and visit every time we drive by. You can tell the staff are really passionate about working with children and they do a wonderful job teaching different units each week and engaging the children. Definitely a warm and welcoming place for the early years.

My son who is in Grade 1 loved UYP. The teachers are warm, attentive and nurturing. They cater to each child's individual needs. They really listened to my concerns and was innovative in coming up with strategies to make my child feel comfortable and most importantly have fun! My daughter who is two going on three goes there now and she has learned so much. She has a hard time saying goodbye at drop off times, but Tia and the other teachers are incredible at getting her settled and interacting. They teach independence but with a support and guidance. I could not ask for a better preschool experience for my children!

I believe that the "right school" helps to nurture a child and helps them to develop intellectually, physically and emotionally. Every child is unique, and Uptown Yonge Preschool focused on developing the uniqueness in every child within a positive environment. The teachers were able to focus and develop every child's strengths and helped them improve on their weaknesses. My daughter is now 8 years old, and she attended Uptown Yonge Preschool from 2 years of age until leaving for JK. She had a very positive and happy experience and still remembers her teachers and friends. The curriculum is very impressive, and the warmth and calmness of the teachers also contributed to making it the "right school" for my daughter.
