My son has been attending Rainforest (North Van) for about a year and a half now and I feel as if he is very well taken care of. He has made very close relationships with each of his care providers and I trust that he is safe at the centre. They are diligent about cleanliness and it brings me joy that he always comes home in a happy mood at the end of the day! The days/months are structured and have noticed he's learned quite a lot in the time he's been attending! I wouldn't have chosen another centre and would recommend any other family or friends to attend there too.

My daughter loved the time she had at preschool here and still talks about it now, six months after leaving. Thank you for taking her in mid-year and for all the fun memories that she made.

I am so glad rainforest is available to us in our neighbourhood. I didn’t know about it until I searched for a preschool nearby. The schedule is perfect with flexibility to accommodate your schedule. Full days or half days and part time or full time in both rooms. My son loves it here and had made many friends. He comes home talking about what he learnt, whether it be history or the alphabet, I was impressed. The program has structure with nice set ups for playing and learning. The space is open and big with lots of windows and natural light which was important to me. And lastly, the teachers Kate and Caitlin are very sweet and caring. It’s definitely a hidden gem.

We love Rainforest Learning Centre (North Van) - the current preschool teachers are incredible...attentive and equip the kids with skills through play. I love that they believe in the 'outdoors' even when it rains. There is no forced learning but there is a structured approach, with weekly themes. Professional, good value and kind people. 5 stars from me.

Highly recommended! The Rainforest Learning Centre North Vancouver location it not only breathtakingly beautiful, the staff, management and owners are Amazing! I can't say enough good things about Rainforest Learning Centre! Kate and all staff are amazingly helpful, friendly, kind, encouraging, loving, and very communicative. Such a convenient location, too.

Rainforest has been nothing but great for my child. The staff is very friendly and always willing to chat or answer any questions i may have. My son tells me the teachers play with him, which is amazing. They go outside at least twice a day rain or shine! My son cries when i pick him up because he wants to "stay longer." I fully trust the staff and know he is in safe and caring hands. They educate the children and allow for tons of playtime (and no screen time which i love!). Best daycare!

Our family loves the Rainforest North Van location! The caregivers are very kind, attentive and communicative. The children learn a lot but they play a lot too, both inside and outside, which I really appreciate. I've noticed my daughter's ability to play independently has really improved since she started at Rainforest, and it so cute when she breaks into one of the songs she has learned there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rainforest to anyone.

Friends Forever

Avoid if possible. Insensitive and be ready for hidden items all over. There are also many weird rules that are not obvious when you inquire but become increasingly apparent as time goes by. Most parents talk about their limitation in not having any other choice and so continuing with them. I hope they learn from other child care centers. If you do join get everything in writing including every single rule.

Two of our daughters attend Rainforest and we absolutely love the centre. It gives our daughters who are 10 months apart their own freedom to be who they are but still come together at meal times and know that they have each other close. Kate has put together interesting curriculum that the kids do monthly and we often find ourselves adding days to the girls schedule so they can attend on day they are not supposed to go. They are working on lots of different materials that I think are important to learn about in life. The other thing I love is that they do an hour a day outside rain or shine. The kids need it. It helps them sleep and is so good for them! We had our oldest in other programs and we wish we knew about Rainforest earlier as we would have been there from the start!

We had all but given up on the hope of finding a quality daycare/preschool that lived up to everything they said they were about... and then we found Rainforest. Finally, a place that was truly about the kids and making sure our son was happy and supported. His preschool experience here gave him a great foundation to transition in to Kindergarten. We couldn't be more grateful for Blaine and Nazzy, amazing women that our family will always remember fondly.
