We visited on Earth day and had a great time with all the visiting organizations. The displays are a great introduction to freshwater ecosystems and the importance of water. Lower level has displays of native fish life which were alright but very sparse looking, particularly when compared with the windows out to the Brook, which was fantastic. I would have loved to see a bit more on freshwater invertebrates just because I think they are so cool.

The fluvarium was definitely a unique experience. My 16-month old daughter loved standing up next to the fish tank watching the fish swim by. We also caught feeding time, which included a discussion about the various species. The place is a bit dated and could use some updating, but aside from that it was a great experience, and affordable.

Amanda Dawe

Was there with my Kindergarten class. They have great educational programs.

Troy Fudge

Great place for a big function. Also a great place to bring kids. Can see pond trout from under water windows downstairs. Also has a nice walking trail that goes around Long Pond.

A great learning experience for kids around 5 and older. Younger kids will enjoy looking at the fish but won't learn a whole lot. Adults will probably not find it engaging enough to be worthy of a long visit, but seeing the fish in a natural river environment through underground windows is a unique experience.

Tracy Suerich

Interesting, but not one of the top ten educational visits in town.

Kalynn Cameron

Great, inter activate learning zone for kids that love animals and the outdoors!

Was here with a work function. The place is beautiful but the space is a little too cozy for big parties. They were very accommodating though, which was nice.

Even though some of the displays could use some touching up, this is an enjoyable place. Being able to look into a river through a window is worth the visit. The nature paths surrounding the building are also very nice.

(Translated) A discovery !!! Water interpretation center. Well-illustrated explanations of the properties of water, freshwater environments, animals and fish that inhabit it. Super beautiful trail around the center, and especially an aquarium / glass section of the stream that touches the walls of the center: we observe the trout and insects and plants of the stream. I liked the photos and explanations of the rehabilitation of the stream. The only downside, several exhibits were broken. On the other hand, we met a trainer who told us that the center receives a large number of schoolchildren who had the chance to visit it more than once a year!

I've been there before and probably left a detailed review so since this visit only included a ride around the trails I'll limit it to that. The trails are meant for walking - not biking. But I'm careful around pedestrians and give them right of way so I break this rule regularly. With that being said the trails are nice to do a leisurely ride around the pond. They're wide and in good shape.

This is an underrated place in the city and should be much more prominent than it is. I have been there for events and have enjoyed it. I have been there for birthday parties and had a great time. I have been on tours and learned so much. Such a wonderful place and a great place for sliding nearby in the wintertime. Oh, and lots of parking

Celebrated a wedding here. Perfect size, great staff, lots of room for all the tables and dancing of course. Great venue, bit of a steep gravel pathway behind fluvarium led down to a super cute covered area with benches and lake, good for photo ops!

This was one of the best venues I've been for a kids birthday party. The kids loved it, and many parents commented on what a great venue/party it was. If you're looking for an affordable option for your kids party, check out the Fluvarium. You will not be disappointed.

Good for children. Not that interesting for adults.
