We sent our son to this daycare since October 2019 in the baby room. The most impressive part for this daycare since day one was they tried everything to keep it clean. You always see someone is cleaning the floor whenever you go there. Seems all the staff know the names of all the kids. Every time I sent my son to daycare always had different teachers that even didn’t teach him said hi to him and could tell him name without any problems. My son was super happy to go there every day. Another thing really impressed me was what happened last March when the lockdown started. We were informed that all the daycares were closed from March 19. I still remembered it was a Monday I got this news when I went to get my son. The owner of the daycare refunded us the charge of the whole week. I thought it was probably every daycare would do this. But Powerplay is one of the very few daycares doing this. I heard about lots of daycares charged for the whole month never refunded anything even still half month left. Or some daycares charged for the whole week with no refunds. I understand that probably the other daycares had the reasons to do what they did, but it did make me feel that Powerplay did think for the parents. Made me believe this daycare is pretty fair for the parents. During the first few months of the COVID lockdown, the owner was very patient to talk to lots of parents to make sure things were working well like applying for the support from the government and information updating about the daycare. I really appreciated about what they did. My son was staying home with me for one year. Finally we sent him back to this daycare lately. He was so happy to go to daycare every day and even asked for going during the weekend. The teacher is super nice and patient to him. Seems he loves there a lot. He is more talkative, confident, outgoing, polite and organized since he’s been there. We are pretty happy so far withe experience of sending our little one there. Just wanna add something after 6 months sending my son back to Powerplay. He talked English before we sent him back now he’s pretty much French. His teacher Houda is a super good teacher. She’s always caring, patient, passionate, with lots of love. With her help, my son now speaks pretty good French and learned a lot. He always talked about what happened at daycare and is always super happy to go to daycare every day. The daycare use the app Classdojo that we could see the pics of the activities the kids are doing every day. His teacher always tells us lots of details of my son is doing every day. We are thankful that she’s so caring. We’re still very happy with the experience of sending my son to this daycare so far.
