I will never forget the time they sent my kids home with a stranger. Never asked the person for ID. Thankfully it was my babysitter. But they didnt know that. She wasnt on my approval list. And it was her first time picking up my kids.

New Playland Nursery School was my daughter's home away from home and I wouldn't have it any other way. I cannot express enough love and gratitude to the staff at NPNS in helping mold and influence my daughter in such a positive and loving environment. Last but not least, the staff is incredibly amazing, loving and caring. My daughter enjoyed every single day she spent at New Playland Nursery School and was always excited to go. New Playland Nursery School has repeatedly exhibited very unprofessional, inconsiderate and negligent behaviour in regards to the care and responsibility to the children at the daycare. During the school year they are responsible for receiving children from the school bus after school and return them to the daycare until the time for parent pick up. However, on more than one occasion I was contacted by my child’s public school which notified me that the daycare staff failed to retrieve my child from the school bus. As a result the bus driver had to return my child to her school, where she remained until someone was available to pick her up. My child has been returned to her school after hours multiple times because the daycare staff was not present at the specified drop off location. My child has had to remain at her school up until past 5pm before being picked up as a result. Had my child’s school not spoken to be about this occurrence, I would not have been made aware, as the daycare had not taken due diligence to personally report this to me. In the summer parents are required to pay an additional fee of $176, upon which we are to be provided with a summer calendar with a summary of the summer program. Upon paying this fee I was not provided with a calendar. I requested a calendar more than once from staff and was told on each occasion that the office staff had not created one. My daughter returned home with a blank August calendar. On Aug.16th I received a call at 8:26 am from a daycare staff asking if my daughter will be attending daycare. I told the staff member that my child will be attending and that we will be there in a few minutes. Upon arriving at the daycare I was told that my child cannot stay there because her class had left for a trip. No one had communicated to me on the phone that they would be leaving for a trip. At the daycare I explained that I was not given prior notice of this trip but the staff proceeded to be rude and dismissive. I was then told to meet the class at the bus stop, but when I arrived they were not there. I returned to the daycare to be told that my child cannot stay there, with one particular staff who proceeded to scream at me when I expressed that my child should be able to stay because I am paying for the service. It’s bad enough that they did not provide a calendar but their response to my complaint was that I should have looked at the black board located downstairs for information. This is as unprofessional as it gets as I should not be made to rely on a tiny slab of black board for important information. It so happens that the day before the trip I had picked my child up from the upper floor of the daycare, not the lower floor where this ‘black board’ was located. I was eventually told that I can no longer receive a calendar since summer is almost ending. But as I was told by another staff, the calendar was never created at all. The service rendered is horrible compared to the cost of their childcare services. I’ve never experienced this issue with any other childcare facility. I shouldn’t have to chase around staff members for a program calendar. This is something that should be provided upfront upon payment. I pay for the convenience of childcare yet they’ve repeatedly neglected their duties. Needless to say, my child will not be returning to this daycare after the completion of the summer program. They have messed up too many times and have taken no care or regard for rectifying any of it but instead have been extremely rude and completely dismissive and desrespectful.

I have twins that attend at this daycare and I have to say I love all of the teachers and the staff that run the centre. They genuinely care for the children and I never worry when they are in their care. I definitely recommend New Playland.

My Child was in that day care close to one year, and honestly I can't complain he was happy there, the food was okey the stuff were fine too, Also they had summer trip which was awesome for the kids))So I would recommend that school to children who need it,

Both my daughters grew up at NPNS. The older one is now 7 and the younger one is close to 2. Both of them joined as early toddlers. I cannot express in words how grateful I am to everyone who brought up them up so lovingly each day and every minute every moment of the day. Thank you so much to “all” the teachers for taking care of my priceless kids. And it is not just only about care and play. My kids learnt new things, new words each day and their cognitive development grew rapidly after they started going to NPNS. My tiny toddler's vocabulary expanded and her social skills started to take shape. My older one still goes back for Summer Program each year, as she is comfortable with the lovely environment. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your place is highly recommended.

We have been sending our children to New Playland for almost three years. We were quite nervous at first as my husbands parents were the only people to look after our children before starting daycare -My eldest has a serious allergy. They made us feel comfortable and helped us settle with a couple of playdates before we started and we appreciated that they are strict and abide by rules of safety and health. We feel our children are learning, safe and well fed. Their menu is nutritious and appetizing. We highly recommend New Playland.

I am shocked to read the past reviews, are you sure you referring to the right daycare centre?. My children have been with New Playland Nursery School for 3 years now. My youngest starting when he was about 2 and half years. I am so happy with the care and courtesy they provide to my family. Find all the staff to be very professional, helpful and full of ideas. I consider myself to be and dress in a conservative fashion; especially since my place of work requires us to wear business suits. I have never seen anyone dress in-appropriately. I do know for a fact that they do have a dress code in effect for all staff. I have seen parents that come to pick up their children dress in 'night club' clothes, perhaps it was a parent you are referring to?

This place is amazing. My son started when he was 2 in just 5 months he has delevopted so much and its thanks to the daycare. His teachers are amazing all staff there are super kind. I would recommend this place

I love this daycare! The staff are very kind and my daughter learned so much in couple of months. Her teachers are amazing. Location is perfect. The application they use is very good as well to keep track of what the child is doing.

The first visit was good but after that they made us feel unwelcome whenever we had an inquiry .. my kid is around 2 and half year old and she said once that "I didn't get food" .. can't judge the play school on this statement but still as a father i didn't feel good abt it ... and observed twice one on them loud with kid ... as they know that we live nearby , they called us many time to take kid back home if the kid don’t start sleeping exactly during their afternoon sleeping hours, in third week .. .... but more than anything is was the feeling of being not welcome that was worst

They dont deserve even 1 star. Had the worst experience of my life. The staff is very rude and unpleasant. They talk to you as in they are obliging you for taking kids in there day care. They are doing business but with this rude attitude. I dont know how will they treat kids in there daycare. Really unpleasant experience.

My 3 yr old daughter has been attending the New Playland Nursery School part time since June 2017. I have only had a pleasant experience so far . Ms Parul the Administrator was very sensitive and compassionate about all my concerns when I met her the first time last year and that's why we chose to come back here this year. She arranged many play dates for my daughter prior to starting so that she and I could bothfeel comfortable and get accustomed to the school setting/activities/teachers etc. The location is excellent, there is a big backyard for kids to play . I found most of the staff friendly and professional. In short my daughter , husband and I are all happy . She loves going to school, has a busy and productive day and comes home happy. Note to parents : You need to talk with your child and constantly explain and prepare them physically and mentally for what will happen at daycare. Also you have to follow as close to the routine as possible for a smooth transition. If you skip naps at home, your child will not sleep at school! So find out the schedules and before you begin any programme at any daycare/nursery....follow the same at home. Also, if you have any concerns, do not be afraid to ask, email, take an appointment to talk but it is your child and have have an open mind for feedback from the caretakers as well.

This daycare has Staff that are quite unprofessional and do not know what Childcare entails. My daughter came back home with bruises on her arm and no one could tell me what went wrong. They also have a staff by name Ms. Parul that is very arrogant, lack manners and unprofessional always. Several parents are already pulling their kids out from this School. It will also be nice for the government to review the operating license of this school and be sure it meets the required operational standards....

My son recently joined the toddler section and I must say that I am very happy with the way my son is being looked after by his teachers. Special thanks to Ms Sandy and Ms Tasha for always being there for my son and other kids. It did not take too long for my son to adjust there in their company and now he does not want to come back home in the evening. Even Ms Basha and Ms Parul been very helpful and nice every single time I met them. I will definitely refer this nursery to my other friends which I already did.

Today is a bitter sweet day, My daughter has been at this child care since we was 2 years old. She is now 10 going on 11 years old. This child care center thought my daughter to ride a bike, hold a pencil, helped her solved problems, the list is endless. Now we have to say good bye to her second home. This child care is one of the best ones out there, but i think its the teachers that make it that memorable. They are the ones that care and teach your child the way a parent would, and for that i thank all the teachers that she has had with in these 8 years. I can tell you how much WE would miss you guys. Everyone has been so sweet to us and that is what makes this exit so hard. Never the least this will always be her daycare :). THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!!!. love Isha and Kim xoxo

They are amazing and doing great jobs. My since almost 3 years old and he have delay on speech. Since he enrolled 2 months ago I noticed how he start improved. Staff working hard and they provide 5 starts services.i am very lucky and happy to have place for my child in New playland School. Again thanks for all N.P.N.S staff for your effort.

This daycare is great! The staff are very accommodating and patient towards the kids and the families! I am happy that I enrolled my son here because he learned a lot of great stuff, explored new things, and learned how to eat healthy food! Thank you NPNS for all the good things you have shown and shared!
