Will not work with parents to find a solution. Terrible at communication. Very disappointing.

So bad they always screamed,make you do work like carry shelfs, and did painful activites and if you dient do them they would punish you by screaming. And one kid even had to make bagles for a teacher and if he dident want to the teachers would send him to the office and if they were not made right the teacher would throw them out plus they randomly sepretated freinds for about a month at a time

I can't say enough great things about this daycare! There are so many planned activities each day such as reading buddies with the older kids, scavenger hunts, water days and the fit kids program. The staff are always friendly and helpful. My kid just runs in and barely says goodbye because she is so excited to be there. 100% would recommend.

The staff have always been respectful and kind. I’ve been so impressed with the professionalism of LCC and how they go the extra mile to give my son educational & engaging experiences. He loves his teachers and the friends he has made at the centre. Our family would not be the same without Lakewood Children’s centre.

We loved to be a part of Lakewood Children's Center, my kids started from the Ocean group and went to all the older ones, the staff is amazing, the place is always clean and comfortable, kids have a lot of different activities during the school year and the best summer time, with field trips, outdoor weeks, water days etc. The day care offers ones a week fun-lunch program with a yammy and healthy lunch. The communication with parents is on daily basis, that was important to us as a parents to know how was the kids day and what are planned for the next day. The drop off parking lot is just near the daycare entrance so on rainy or cold days it's very helpful.

Staff are friendly and my daughter loves them. She enjoys going everyday. They keep them busy and have fun things to do all the time. It’s well run, organized and overall we’re very happy with it!

My son attended nursery school here for two years. The teachers were absolutely amazing during that time they helped him so much with his speech delay and social skills I cannot thank them enough. Since then my son has been attending the before and after school care. The staff in this program have been excellent in communicating any issues that arise with him quickly and clearly. They keep them so busy in the summertime with outings and exploring my son is always so tired when he comes home! I would reccomend this daycare and nursery school to anyone looking!

The first daycare that we experienced when we moved to Canada. Staff members are professionally trained and very friendly with all kids. My both kids enjoyed their 3 years in this daycare. We will miss it a lot.

Staff at the daycare was very good with my son, and I can't say enough good things about them. The reason for the loss is certain policies they have. I had to remove my son from the daycare during the Covid-19 lock down due to moving and even though I had paid for the whole month and had a credit of over $300 on my account I only received less of half of that due to having to pay a 2 weeks notice fee despite the fact that the daycare was still closed due to Covid-19 and I had to find other childcare options for him. It was a very disappointing end to what had been a very good experience for a couple years prior.

My daughter loves going to daycare here and has completely flourished since she started at the center. The staff are great with the kids, they plan lots of different activities to keep the kids busy and happy. They keep parents in the loop via Facebook, emails and directly.

I have had my daughter in this day care since she was a little wee one. I trust them and appreciate have them look after my daughter. Alps it is great to know management and all the staff helps me out when I really need it . Also the staff who knows and understands my daughter makes me feel so much comfortable leaving my baby in their care.
