The restaurant wasn't available and we had to go offsite for our evening meal, as well as in the morning there wasn't a breakfast option. Again we understand this is due to COVID and not the norm. It wouldn't stop us from coming back and staying again..

Accommodation relaxation an at home feel mixed with a variety of activities to partake in the enjoy a quiet night on a lawn chair surrounded by an attractive ocean surrounded atmosphere on the cliest to the end of the world you can be. Hotel and lounge are the perfect distance being close enough to not be going to far from your loved ones or not at all and staying in I could not hear the music that was playing at the bar. Lovely people and there is so much potential would make a killer venue or family getaway. Just amazing setup gotta check it out with the family check out the fortress see the lighthouse walk the amazing Ocean side along a wood laden Skywalk basically feels like your in another world... Cape Breton is amazing! Fortress in is very adequate pricing fair and service was on point hairdryer soap towels. The owner hands on and friendly well mannered and easy going. The place to stay.

We stayed here 10 years ago and it looks much better now then it did then! We were just looking for a quick overnight and stayed in the family suite. It was super clean. Nothing too fancy but the staff was helpful and friendly. Would stay again for sure!

Good place to stay close to the louisbourg fortress for a low price. Room was very dated and mostly clean.

The east Indian owner is a terrible human. One of the rudest guys I have ever come across. The women and the young guy are great but that guy needs to be fired

Good accommodations for overnight trip.They do not freshen the room if staying 2 nights. Room is clean, bed was ok but noisy mattress

It was very nice

Our crew and staff visited The Fortress in Lewisburg Motel a couple weeks ago. The rooms were tidy clean and everything what you would want and expect in a motel. The part that we weren't happy about is the following morning after 8 a.m. we could not find where the continental breakfast was being held even after walking around the entire stablish mint 12 of us couldn't find it. How late does the breakfast that's supposed to be included with your night stay start at???

Never telling anyone to stay here. For one the guy who runs the place from 11-8 has zero respect for woman and their safety. There was an altercation going on couple units up from us and instead of deescalating he started drinking with them making us feel even more unsafe. I have a video of us asking him to leave us alone and he would not I had to call the cops over from the altercation to get him away from my friend and I while her little sister was in the room. If I am on vacation I am not staying in my room I smoke and not allowed to smoke inside.

I went to crabfest. I was never at the actual place
