This elementary school is so good, I came here in 3rd grade, and I'm about to be in 8th grade and to this day I still go to Lord Elgin, I definitely recommend your kids going here, nice teachers, they're super fun and cool, nice friends, everyone is pretty supportive and fun!!!!!!!

i would give it a 4 stars but this is for the person who complained about no soap. there's this thing called soap run out and you just end up in the washroom when the custodian isn't there

My friends said one of the washroom had a girl had died and was scary people and they broad it up and when I first I saw the sinks i had to step on this it was cool

Personally, I didn't go to this school, but my step daughters did (from their mother's) for all of elementary school. Great location, not near any major roads. Close to a public pool which is fully fenced in (and a great place to visit in the summer!), School set on lots of open meadows, compete with baseball diamond, soccer & football fields. I believe there are basketball nets out back on the paved area as well. At the front there is a kindergarten area with playground equipment / climbers. The garbage compactors & parking lot is fully fenced off from the school yard. I would give the school 5 stars if the area was a little less... rough. "Boulee" & "H-Block" are the 2 town house complexes to the south & north respectively. These neighbourhoods have experienced gang rivalries in the past, and although significant improvements have been made, some kids have that "hood" mentality (I know this because I am a silent member in a few kids groups on Facebook where the censorship gloves comes off & one see what kids really talk about behind closed doors). If you live in this area, have no fear; strong leadership & morals, keeping kids involved in healthy activities and being an active (not helicopter) parent will make a difference. Plus, the teachers have zero tolerance for bullying or threatening behavior. The school is a good school. The kids enjoy numerous activities and regularly take home works of art! I hope this review gives you a more clear picture of the pros /cons of choosing this public school.

The school was great, the people there were amazing and it was the least bullying i've seen there. Although the education isn't the best, you'll know your kid is going to have friends there because almost everyone can relate.

I'm surprised this school hasn't got shutdown by the health unit because when I went to the washroom one time there was no soap disgusting, I know. But overall it's a really bad school

I love this school. I went here and skipped a grade! Mr. Koehler is an awesome teacher, and the kids are so kind! I went here in 5th grade in 2017! I wish I never left. I recommend kids going here, and take advantage of doing above grade work like how i did!
