Passive aggressive lady at the food counter lacks entertainment in her life. I won't be spending money at this Costco for a while. They made me wait 10 minutes for a slice of pizza which was right there. I kept asking her politely that the slice in front of her was my order and my kid was waiting. She insisted that she needed to serve "others" and kept calling numbers before and after my order, as if she enjoyed making me wait. Supremely pathetic and juvenile.

Their chicken is absolutely the worse. No meat just fat. I'm writing this review because this has happened to me multiple times. Both the barbecue premade chicken and their wrapped uncooked children are filled with gooey fat.

Good store that correspond to other Costco stores. Always fresh food. Self serving cash is always busy so maybe a good idea is to extend the number of cash machines? What is different at this store is the restaurant. I found that here at Laval store they cook chicken strips way better than in Montréal store. And Costco fries are way better than ones from McD. :)

Staff is helpful but the place is very crowded. Hard to find a parking spot but it's the same problem with every Costco I guess. Gas station is a big plus, the price is usually cheaper especially if you need premium gas

The only downside of my visit was the complete lack of parking, I had to leave my car really far away. As an owner of a Hybrid vehicle, I can sometimes use the designated spots featuring charges: today they were all taken, unfortunately. Otherwise, the staff is friendly and useful (I both bought and returned some items today), lot's of specials

Explain me this logic. It’s the first day of the back to school sale for the cell phones and there’s 1 employee working at the kiosk in the evening; prime time when most people are no longer at work and volumes are at their highest. There were 4 people in line waiting while I’m the 5th and someone is also being served. So I’m supposed to wait over an hour because you can’t be strategic in your staffing? And we pay a membership fee in order to properly be accommodated but yet we feel low balled in this short service. Very impressive....

Actually we had good and bad experience let me start with good Ms. Marie- eve was really helpful to find out our needed laptop and gave to us with smily face and she was very kind and helpful to us. And now the not happy ones was the guy was at the laptop section told me that this product is out of stock and i should order online or with any other Costco but when I checked with MARIE EVE it was available and I got it… Maybe he was alone at the section couldn’t handle the situation that’s why he may told us like that but they should also understand from customer point of view.. Therefore the management has to take care of these kind of situation not affecting the customer. Much appreciated Thank you..✊????

10 minutes ago, I was using self check out service. I asked help for payment since I wanna pay by my coupon. But I’ve been mentioned that coupon only can be used on counter, then I decided to pay full amount by my credit card. The assistance saw there is a case of Kiwi in my stroller, I told him that kiwi has been scanned, he does not believe then returns my system back to scan page until he found kiwi was there, he left away, but my payment stuck. I have to call another help. This assistance is so unprofessional on customer service, his behaviour without trust & respect.

In this store, things are not put the same way like the other Costco stores, even though the layout is about the same. The staff is respectful and helpful. Once my favourite store to shop but ever since covid hit things have gone sour, difficult to find parking, lineups to get in, lineups to pay, lineups to get out, just a terrible waste of time to save some money, and you're probably not even saving any money since you're buying in bulk for quantities you don't really need. I even tried online shopping and that's a bigger disaster, the first time I ordered the two-day delivery took over a week, the second time I ordered I only received two items out of the six, they cancelled one and the other items never showed up. They need to take lessons from Amazon. I used to go almost every week and now maybe once every two months. I cannot give it more than one star anymore.

Whether you’re in San Francisco, Tokyo, or Montreal, everyone loves Costco!!!!! I was at this location this weekend and here’s my honest review regarding my trip / Costco run. It’s a no brainer that this is the ideal grocery chain if one wants to maximize their shopping experience and budget. One can always go to a dépanneur or the local grocery store, but nothing in my opinion ressemble a Costco experience. So as of my very 1st Canadian Costco run, I should say that this is just like any typical Costco shopping center, but acclimated to the Canadian lifestyle. A typical Costco run is always atypical because even though I went in with my list and a budget, I was faced with the temptation of “oh must get this”. The most important part of an atypical Costco run is to have a list and a budget and to try to stick to these as hard as temptation might be. Temptations will overrun your budget by few hundreds of dollars. I’ll say to use your calculator as you’re shopping and for any item not on your list added, subtract an item on your list of equal value to balance your budget. I was at this location on a Saturday morning and needless to say the place was absolutely full of humans in this Covid era. Once again a list will be very helpful for an in and out “quick” run. Almost every one has a Monday to Friday job but this is the ideal time one should attempt to do their stress free runs. My top buys: meat, poultry, cheese, olive oil, croissants, bagels, eggs, laundry detergent, toothpastes, body wash, mouth wash, organic sugar and coffee. I will stay away from electronics if these are not on your shopping list since you’ll be tempted to just swipe your card. Overall a wonderful experience as of my 15 previous years in the US. An experience that must be done by the enthusiasts!

The cashier scanned an item twice by mistake. I returned the next day with the receipt and they reimbursed me, no questions asked. I know the manager will look at the security tape later, so don't get any fraudulent ideas! All employees were super courteous, polite and helpful during both visits, and for every other times I can remember.

It's a Costco so great selection and prices. But, they really are dropping the ball as far as covid precautions. There's no rhyme or reason to how the traffic is handled. People all over the place, no social distancing, clients back to back at the cash when paying. Not even any floor arrows to keep people from being on top of each other. Although I love shopping at Costco, I have decided perhaps now is not the best time to shop there anymore. Most of my local grocery stores and Walmart all offer curbside pickup so switching to that for now. Everything else, well there's Amazon. Surprisingly, Amazon is very often cheaper for non perishable foods delivered to your door promptly. I have also used Costco 2 day delivery but it takes forever, sometimes weeks. Products are really marked up on price as compared to the warehouse, and UPS had destroyed more than one order. For example, I ordered Lysol wipes from Costco online twice. Both times UPS delivered them upside down, and all the liquid had leaked out. I now have 12 canisters of basically dry wipes! No point trying to get them exchanged at the warehouse as they are always out.

Impossible to book a rendez-vous for tires installation that are bought one month ago!!! System do not allow it since more than one week. Advice buy your tire on line. So I will buy another set in order to have the rendez-vous then ask to reimburse the tires. #fail

Very disappointed to see that people are not respecting the social distancing . Costco should install arrows on the floor so there's a common flow in the store wich is not the case right now, people are going in all directions. I also noticed in the clothing section full of people not respecting social distancing and handling clothing. Lots of people not wearing masks. I felt that Costco has drop there gard in regards to this pandemic they need to reinforce asap before people get infected. The problem is in the store because when you go in,its checked and when you get to the cash its fine but in between nobody of Costco is checking anything.

I love Costco but hate going. It's always overcrowded at the one in Laval and distancing is rarely observed by anyone even after being asked to back off. Otherwise, great service and you can return almost everything without much fuss

This Costco specially, by far, is the best customer service. The employees are A1. One favor though, tone it down with the peekaboo, I see you, your mask is 1mm down from your nose. I can come in without a mask and you cannot say anything at all and you cannot even stop me from going in, IT IS NOT THE LAW and I’m even exempt from wearing a mask. I only go to this specific Costco because of customer service.

Its always packed, circulating inside of the store is difficult in some places.Finding where to park is a challenge. The cashiers are full but,they're fast. Overall it's better not to go on weekends.

It's Costco... not a huge fan of self check out even though I am all for it because of the sheer nature of the products they sell. The products are big and bulky and it takes a while to get it out if your cart one by one, scan, manage to fit all that you bought on that metal scale and then put it all back in the cart while needing someone to help you once or twice. I love self check outs, that's all I use at any store that has them but at Costco it's just inconvenient!!

This is a very large and spacious costco. There are many parking area available although it could be a little challenging getting a parking lot and had to wait some minutes for someone to leave the parking space to get a place. The prices are reasonable and comparable with other Costcos... Highly recommended

I love the store. When you know it well you can plan your path to minimize walking when getting your stuff. You can find pretty much everything you need in this one stop store. The only time I didn't find what I needed is when I wanted to buy an Ethernet cable. It was available online but not in stores. Food quality is great overall. My only slight downfall is that sizes are too big sometimes but I understand the concept of Costco.

COSTCO LAVAL Very bad customer service & the place doesn’t respect the price accuracy policy . Bought one flower arrangement on December 23rd, 2020. No individual pricing labelled and the only price displaced on the shelves was 24.99$ ( labelled “arrangement floral de Noel dans une vase”) .At the cashier they scanned 29.99$ . I verified before leaving, returned and claimed the difference. They refused to honour saying they forgot to label the item in the morning and the existing label was for another item in a vase ( all items were mixed on the same shelf, one price) Useless to say that the arrangement I bought was not in the “air “ but in contenant which could have been the vase .Both the employee and the Manager the employee consulted refused to honour ( I just asked the price difference $5) , they said it was an error there was no price for this item on the shelf and that was it. I left with the item and paid 29.99$ since the Manager showed me the waiting line to return regardless that I didn’t left the store (another 30 min +waiting) already did another 30 min to pay , waited in line to be addressed etc... . She “ very polite” turned her back and left. They could’ve at least take the item back without making me wait again for the return. The location badly needs some training on customers service !!!! Why has the customer to pay in time and money for Costco employees errors?

I was denied access today while going as a guest to help my father because there were too many people (despite letting big families in). The staff told me I could get in today if I bough a membership though. Nice way to make money with COVID by forcing people to buy memberships guys!

I was disappointed when I brought my father's car for an oil change. Today on June 26, I arrived 20 minutes early for his 1:30 appointment and they refused me because I don't have my own membership, despite the appointment and car being registered under my father's name (who does have a membership); I was just bringing it in on his behalf. The man at the car service center told me, in a hostile tone, to "go to the front and make a membership" for my father's oil change and that "I shouldn't even be allowed in here". I politely asked if I could see the manager just so I could present the car's registration as proof, and he first told me the manager would tell me the same thing, and when I insisted he then told me that he's the manager, as if he got promoted in the last 5 seconds. It's not professional to have someone who speaks coldly and down to customers that way

Awesome place to get quality items be it a home fixture or food. Never had any problem with customer service and returns. Staff are accomodating and always willing to help when asked. Food served in the cafeteria are of decent price. I like it that they encourage people to bring their own bags to reduce plastic consumption, Or use their cartons as crates. It is also a bonus when you walk in and you see some of your favorite items on sale! I am a happy customer!

Cheap for the quantities you get, just make sure to go on a weekday and not the weekend! Don't expect too much from the employees either, they are super nice but also costco sets completly absurd production quotas and evaluations for em, which makes them lack the time for the upper notch client service they use to give, its all about making money on volume nowadays and not about the client experience

So I tried to pay with cheque which they didn't accept , and said they have a rule that I need to be a member for 6 months for them to accept my cheque. When I asked where is it written . They said it is not written but it's up to them to accept or not. It is not a written rule but the norm that keep it hidden ...

Do you know the expression "it was like a zoo in there!" meaning animals running wild all over the place? Well, that expression would be considered a complement in the case of the Laval Costco. Have you ever been to a zoo? Usually the animals are just hanging around in their little cages eating some food or sleeping. It is the complete opposite here. People running around with a cart filled with cheese balls, complete lack of awareness, and by the time you get to the ending line you will be exhausted and fighting for a spot. Chaos at its finest. It's so bad that employees at other Costcos know how bad it is here. I have tremendous respect for the employees that work here. Nice samples.

I was helping my mother pay for her groceries because she cannot speak english nor french. Laurence (a girl with long brown hair) was very rude and did not let me help her. She was very racist because my mother did not undertand anything. I tried to explain her that I needed to pay with my mother's card and to let me help her, but she did not care. She said to move to the other side and let her do it by herself. She asked something to my mother and I could not hear, so she said yes. After, I realized that she charged her something else and I told her to take it out. She said, you mom said so. I told her my mom did not undertand french nor english. She said, I dont care to go to returns and exchanges. I wasted 20min. It is unacceptable. It happened today at 3h45pm.

My brother and I arrived to the place (Montreal branch), waited in long queue, only to be told at the entrance that only one person is allowed to enter. Put a sign at the entrance and inform people before waiting or while being in queue. BTW some other people were allowed. Don’t be selective on who can enter and waste our time.

Very chaotic and busy but that’s all Costco. 3 stars cause I had to renew my card and I went there with my boyfriend but they didn’t let him in. We split up cause it was 1 hour before closing and didn’t want to waste time so I went to do the renewal while he went to grab the things we needed.

Costco Laval you people are awesome , I couldn’t believe it , Thursday night did some shopping at your location, while putting my shopping in the the car it was late and we were tired , we forgot some of our shopping outside the car and left for home , realizing this when I got home I rushed back to Costco Laval’s parking lot but to no avail my forgotten box with my items was nowhere to be found, Today being Saturday I decided to return to the store and take a chance , I went to customer service to ask if they found my stuff , I couldn’t believe it when the customer service representative told that yes my lost shopping items were actually found and were returned to the store , unbelievable , I want to thank all the wonderful staff at Costco Laval for there honesty and great service . 5*****

My husband & I have been loyal members of Costco wholesale for more than 10 years. We have never had any bad experience with their service until today. My mother went to Costco Laval with a friend of hers yesterday and 3 of her items were scanned twice. She overpaid an amount of almost $150. After paying, my mother then realized that it seemed to be sth wrong with her receipt. She asked the cashier to check and then was sent to a supervisor. Even after the supervisor was involved, the items in the cart had not been counted or checked. Both my mother and her friend were told that the receipt was correct. They were just ignoring the 2 ladies that do not speak much English or French and had difficulty understanding their receipt. We went back today early in the morning with all the stuff bought yesterday, we did not get the refund. The only thing we got is an unhelpful conversation and unpleasant experience. I don’t think this is how Costco should be treating their members when it comes to the mistake of their own employees. We were told to wait till the end of the week to know if we gonna get our money back. Very disappointed with the service we received.

I bought 2 weeks ago a smart toilet the make OVE which are located on the 13 highway and does not work at all the company are aware of the problems with these smart toilet and are rated only 2.5 stars on there web site, however I’m now stuck with this problem because it don’t work, and Costco did not offer any rebate after it costed me almost $500. For installations or plumbing and electrical, they just asked me to bring it back, not an easy thing to do after it costed me, I would not ever go back to Costco for this reason and not to mention the administration part of this company sucks they never return you calls

Visited for the Optics center and waited at their service counter for 10 minutes before an optician even noticed I'd been standing there. She was polite enough and thanked me for my patience but I wish they would bring back the number system. It was easier to follow and someone was always attentive enough to notice a client waiting to be serviced.

When you need cat litter, toilet paper soda, cheap beer and frozen foods...this place cannot be beat....my wife and I like to shop local so we go maybe once every 3 months. The social distancing is non existent because they pack you like sardines. I never gas there because the lines are freaking huge. People fight over parking spaces . I am really not enamoured with this place but for certain items they are handy. Oh and the meat is terrible do yourself a favor pay a few bucks more buy local and see one of the hard working butchers in Laval your tastebuds will thank you

Busy place almost all day long, every day. May be quieter early in the morning. Staff is busy and not always available. Some fellow clients can be rude pushing their charts on you. However line up for the cashiers doesn't take that long.

Whenever I visit this Costco, it seems they have more products from other locations. However i can't say the same when it comes to their stocks/lack of quantity. Probably there's so many people buys it and it goes out of stock. Big parking lot. Doesn't feel too tight during rush hour. Great place though. far too many people here during covid. I understand that the staff is doing their best, but customers are all over the place, don't follow distancing rules and just clutter. I don't think I'll go back until the pandemic is over and people can act more responisbly.

Very crowded! The service is ok like most Costco’s. I prefer the one in St-Jerome or Boisbriand but not bad for in the city.

I love Costco stores. They have reliable products easy to deal with guarantee. No fighting. The qualities always well controlled and if not they take it back. The stores also laid out very nicely and it's always a lot of room to maneuver around. Obviously keeping into account its popularity there are often a lot of Shoppers at the same time. That you can not control.

Great variety of things. You cand find technology, clothes, automotive, home stuffs, toys, books, outdoor and indoor sporting equipment, baby stuff, medicine, beauty, and a lot of food. The staff is not the friendliest in the world, but at least the make their job good enough. The have a bi-weekly flyer where you can find amazing discounts. The best thing is that all the products are high quality ????

Always extremely crowded to the point of having to return without going in because we can't find parking. Gas station has minimum 20 min wait in evening or on weekends. The whole experience has gone down in the past few years with little.added value compared to other stores. Not to mention items are out of stock half the time and there is barely any employees on the floor to help out.

Most products and goods Costco sells are in good quality and their prices are reasonable. The local is clean and its parking lot is spacious.

Be patient if you come to this Costco. It is always crowded. One of the busiest Costco I've been. Even the gas station is hectic..Still giving it a 5☆, because the service is always fantastic even though it's crazy busy everyday, every hour of the week.

Service is terrible! Beware... We went two days ago to get a certain article, we knew from another costco it was suppose to arrive soon. They still didn't had it in stock and wouldn't want to tell us the exact date they would receive it and the guy was rude while answering our questions. He jsut said that it could be any time this week...nice... We went back yesterday it wasn't there ok. But we came back today, it was here, however they would only allow the elderly first, because of covid, which is understandable, however they emptied the whole inventory... We could see them going out of the shop with the boxes and that made us really happy to know they had it. But no, they weren't fait and didn't had any left when they let us in... No way to know again when they will receive it, they say they have a high demand for it but only ordered 16.... great job really

Why have an option to talk in english on your number when I cant be served in English. I get a condescending "ugh" on the phone from a lady in your administrative staff when I say i want to talk in English. Absolutely horrendous!! Transfers the phone and I cant get anyone to speak!

Love shopping at Costco. Only problem is that some things I like disappear sometimes they never come back Big lineups for gas but worth it. Took just 10 minutes to save $4+

Well there Opticlub is way better than the one in Marche Centrale. They have more glasses options and the staff in Laval is way more professional and friendly.

What do you want me to say about Costco? Great as always, the only downside coming with great customer services and prices is that there’s always so much people but no complains at all.

Its Costco. Lots of stuff, OK prices, crazy parking lot and will give you a panic attack once inside. Visit outside the busy hours for a better experience. Or dont, so I can go :)

Usually this place is great I was harassed by 3 older lady worker when my mask was covering my mouth. I have health condition so I’m following the best I can I cover my mouth to at least help my nose I can’t cuz of my health condition it makes it hard to breath. I told them that but they didn’t care. Last time ever am I shopping at Costco laval. I rather go to mayrand better prices and aubut the workers are for the customers not like Costco laval.
