This is the worst daycare I have ever seen. The children play outside in a parking lot. Constantly crying and screaming while they play overly loud music to drown them out.

Absolutely LOVE CEFA Kelowna! I have only been an ECE for a year, and have only worked at a couple of different centres but CEFA has been by far the best. I was so lucky to walk into this opportunity and start my career so early into becoming an ECE. The coworkers, friends, and families that you meet through this amazing community are people that I will treasure forever. Teaching here is a great mix of an educational curriculum and allowing the children to explore their own environment.

This is our first year with CEFA and we couldn't be happier. Our little guy walks in happy every morning, and his teachers are always there to greet him with a hug and a smile. We don't consider this a daycare, but a little school. They provide fun, engaging activities that teach a fabulous enriched curriculum. At pick up each day, his teachers are always available to share what happened during the day so that you always feel you know how your little one is doing. We love CEFA and plan to come for many more years!

Staff are really great, what ever they are paid it isn’t enough. Kid loves it (hard to get him to leave sometimes) and his vocabulary has exploded since attending. Pretty proactive about minimizing disease outbreaks. They somehow also got him to use manners and sleep on a cot? They are wizard baby whisperers.

My daughter started attending CEFA Kelowna before she turned 2 and is now 3.5. She really loves it there. She is always happy when we pick her up and there is no fuss on drop offs. They are also very accommodating with dietary restrictions for her (and I love that they do all their food on site so I do not have to add packing a lunch to our busy morning routine).

We moved to a Kelowna late last year and had very high standards due to the amazing childcare we left back in Vancouver. Cefa Kelowna has been incredible. We feel completely comfortable leaving our 2 year old son in their care. Every teacher we’ve encountered so far has been exceptional in their own way. We love that they incorporate learning in to everything they do, it’s spotlessly clean, all food is included, they are open to suggestions and feedback, and they generally care for each child there. A+++ care! Highly recommended :)

Our 4 year old has been attending CEFA for 4 months now and both he (and we) love it. The teachers are fantastic and we really like that they do meals because our little guy is a picky eater and he tries (sometimes) new things at CEFA. We also love the curriculum that they have the kids on. It's always fun to hear what Max learned everyday.

We absolutely love everything about CEFA Kelowna! The teachers are very engaging and genuinely love the children. Our son started just before his first birthday and took his first steps in the baby classroom. CEFA helped us with his napping schedule, and have even started potty training him. The program is a perfect mix of educational activities, introduction to a structured environment and opportunity for the children to learn social skills in a positive space. Our son is now in the JK1 class and comes home daily with new words and sentences. We drop him off each morning knowing he is the best of hands and trust every staff member wholeheartedly.

My family has been apart of Cefa Kelowna for a few years. Both our children attend the school, our son started at around 2.5 yrs and is now 5 (sad that he is moving on to Kinder in Sept) our daughter started at 1.5 yrs. The teachers are really special, they take such good care of all the kids, I never worry about them when they are there. The days are jammed packed with lots of learning activities & outdoor fun, my kids love going every morning, and rarely want to leave when its time for pick up. Lunches are healthy, nap time is peaceful, and lots of support from the staff whenever you need them. Can't say enough about how much we love it here!

We started our son at CEFA Kelowna just recently and it has been a very smooth and easy transition for our family. The staff are kind and very helpful, and our son seems to adore them! He is happy and learning lots, we can’t wait to see how he grows over the next few years of early learning at CEFA!

Unfortunately our experience at CEFA McKay Kelowna was much less enjoyable than we hoped it would be. Our son (3) had previously attended a daycare centre in Vancouver (not at CEFA) before we moved to Kelowna last fall. We were very pleased with the care that we received there. We enrolled him at CEFA once we settled into our new surroundings in Kelowna, hoping it would be a similar experience. It was not. We found the initial "tour" of the facility great, and all of our questions were answered in a re-assuring and caring manner. However, once our son was actually attending the school, we noticed a shift almost immediately. Upon asking further questions, regarding some concerns we had, my wife was met with answers that felt rushed, and not at all re-assuring. Two out of three teachers in his classroom were always pleasant and kind to us, with the exception of one. The demeanor of this teacher was what essentially drew us away from the school, and we decided to pull our son out. Based on what we observed during drop-off and pick-up, we came to the conclusion that CEFA was not a place where we felt out son was receiving the care and attention we as parents expect. During drop-off and pick-up it was often very chaotic, children trying to pick out their outdoor clothes and put them on - some of which simply did not have the fine motor skills to do so yet. More than once, my wife was approached by 3 year old children asking her to "please help them get dressed". Despite the teachers pressing the issue of independence, this was taking the matter to a different level entirely. Often no "please" and "thank you" from the teachers, rather the children were met with a stern "wash your hands" or "sit down" (for snack time). All of this while we were physically in the room, dropping off our son. Overall, not a good experience, which we regret very much as were excited with the potential of what CEFA presented itself to be.

Everyone at Cefa Kelowna has been very welcoming to our family. Our little one started attending Cefa at the start of April. We were a little worried to see how she would do as she is quite quiet and shy. However with gradual entry and the support of all the staff she has entered smoothly with barely any tears. It's a great feeling to know she's is happy every day, while also learning and socializing with children her age.

Was promised by the manager that the new location was opening in October so on that premise I paid the $200 deposit with the understanding that half of it is refundable. The new location is now 4 months from opening and they refuse to refund me. Worst customer service ever!!
