REVIEWS OF Lobstick Lodge IN Jasper

Nick Morley

so expensive considering what it provide to customer. The bad is dusty. The worst experience

Sharon Bourke

Suites too small, priced too high, very run down needs updating.

Erwin Bulaclac

We booked a kitchenette to accommodate our three children and our need to cook our own meals. The double beds in the main room were good for individuals but not adequate for a couple. The refrigerator made unacceptable noise when the compressor switched on. We could hear conversations in adjacent rooms in all 4 directions (we were on the second floor).

Matt Osness (Madilyn)

Okay room. No Ac and uncomfortable pillows. Parking lot always full and had to park quite a walk away. Loud neighbours and many neighbours cooking late at night.

Blanca Jose

Value with a discount. The restaurant and lounge are pleasant, as are the rooms. The hotel is on one side of the town, but Jasper is a small, easily walkable place. My one issue is that the walls don't have adequate noise reducing qualities.

Would not recommend staying at this hotel. Although my parents stay at this hotel was reasonably acceptable the customer service post visit has been absolutely atrocious. The hotel did not refund back the damage deposit and it has now been over a month of them dodging phone calls, not responding to emails and generally not caring that they haven’t completed the bare minimum of doing a simple refund. Would not recommend staying at this hotel to anyone as they only appear to care about their customers when all they actually care about is money. Absolutely not acceptable.

Actually rather disappointed. A dog was barking next to us until about 9:30 p.m., the rooms are very outdated, poorly placed Outlets to charge personal devices even though that's a very common thing to use these days. I stopped by Chateau Jasper next door to use their pool and it's much nicer there.

Room good value food not great

Solid 3.5 star hotel. Price matches what you're paying for but was very happy with how clean the rooms were for a hotel at this level and price point. Staff were friendly and we had no issues.

It's was alright. Our room had no heat, we had great view of the mountains. They moved us to a smaller room and with a view of the parking lot. Not exactly what one is hoping for when they travel to Jasper. Staff was nice though, rooms clean, shame they have no microwaves. Also I find it concerning that they are using standard extension cords for the multiple lamps.

The lodge is fairly clean and location is great, tons of parking. The rooms are a little older but clean. Enjoyed the stay.

Was great wish I had more than one night to experience this place

Good setup. Easy access to downtown

Truly a sad place to drop your hard earned money! Very squeaky floors and hollow walls causes noise to keep you awake! Quite the unprofessional staff that make it frustrating to manage simple things for any tegular stay. Nasty dirty feeling decor. Staff entered my room while i was out without my permission. Food in the restaurant was very bland. Choose a nicer place if you're on vacation, but it will do if your drunk:)

No a/c , no cleaning in room! Crazy Pool and hot tub is good !

Staff were pleasant and the room was very clean however my main gripe with this hotel was that the noise from other rooms was very noticeable throughout the night. We never used the pool or restaurant. Parking was abundant. It was a 15-20 minute walk to popular restaurants and shops. All in all for what we paid I would stay here again

The heat in our room with a decent view didn't work. We were moved to a smaller room with a nice view of the parking lot. When we discovered that our fridge in the room was freezing things, they offered to call maintenance. Why call maintenance for a fridge but not for heat? Anyway, we had to pull out our cream in the morning to defrost it to add to our coffee. The only pleasant staff was the one that checked us in, otherwise we did not have any good customer service. I understand that it's times of COVID, and they did a pretty good job of keeping things clean and orderly. The mattresswas very comfortable. I'm not sure if I would stay here again.

I do not recommend. If I could rate lower than a 1 star, I would. The price doesn’t match the quality and experience you would expect for a $300+/night room. We were stuck in a basement room and it reminds me of something out of a Wes Craven film. The rooms don’t have AC and we were told to fill buckets full of ice to cool our rooms off. Pffft The floor boards/joist creak when other guests walk around above us, and we’re right below the lobby. Needless to say we didn’t get any sleep. Parking? Good luck… This is the last stop on of my 3 week vacation and hands down the worst..

Out dated no air conditioner and expensive. Would not stay there again.

Marcus Stiller

Very good hotel with breakfast and diner possibilities.

Eric Hsiao

Comfortable rooms and a surprisingly good restaurant. Staff are excellent.

At first, we were nervous when we saw the inside of one of the rooms as we walked by an open door on the 2nd floor (lobby is on this floor) but not to worry. Our room number was 347. It was a huge room even with the kitchenette. Everything was spotless. Beds were extremely comfortable. I wanted to take mine home. Unfortunately, the elevator was out of service but, again, not to worry. One of the hotel staff carried our bags up the stairs for us. There is no air conditioning in this lodge (you're informed of that on their website) so the room was a little warm (18 and 19 of September). There were two fans already in our room which made all the difference. Nice pool and hot tub. I would stay here again.

Jasper is beautiful and I treated my honey to a weekend at Lobstick after going nowhere during covid. I would describe the decor as rustic- it could use updating, but was nice. It was very crowded when we were there, and there wasn't much in terms of coffee or food onsite (weird hours). The problem was the bedbugs that I came home with! It cost a LOT of money to fix so if you stay here please keep your suitcases in the washroom not the drawers and check the beds at first. I am still traumatized. You won't know until 2-3 weeks after if you bring them home so be vigilant.

Me and my family spent a night stay here(Suite). Staff at the front desk very welcoming. When I did not find parking they helped me to make sure I for one on the middle of the night. Suite was clean and appliances were satisfactory.

Jess Strongman

Enjoyed the room, and close to walking path.

We stayed for a week, we did have a couple issues but the staff resolved them quickly and made everything great. Serge, this review is especially for you though, the way you treated my kids during our stay and all the knowledge you provided for touring and safety was hands down the best experience we could have ever asked for. You are professional, friendly, funny, caring and Jasper and the lodge are super lucky to have you. As a business owner for kids, having an employee like you would be life changing. Give the man a raise :) My kids miss you and talk about you constantly still. Thank you Serge and Lobstick Lodge for the amazing time in Jasper and when we come back that's where we stay again.
