My fav place !! I love the Cuban sandwich and the Sweet Side club, it's a club but with stuffing bread. I love getting a soup and sandwich combo , the soups are AMAZING !!! It's located next to a Tim Hortons and I often think if you drive by Sweet Side and pull into Tim's and buy a soup and sandwich your pretty much lighting your money on fire !!!!!!

Fantastic donuts and coffee. I think the best in Cape Breton for sure. Great hot sandwiches and soups. We had the chicken club and the crispy eggplant club, both were good. Kid friendly. I wish it was more well known as this place would be so popular if it was in downtown Sydney.

Loved my visit here! I started for lunch and was not disappointed. They had enough of a menu to find something tasty but not too much to be overwhelmed with choices. The staff was nice and the baked goods were so yummy! I had to take something home to share. Would go back again!

You need a register for pick up orders, not everyone has 30 minutes to stand in line at noon to pay for a sandwich which was ordered in advance. Convenience is key at lunch hour.

Wow busy spot today! Came by after picking up mom at the airport. We ordered the soup and sandwich combo. We really enjoyed the California Chicken and Cabbage Roll soup. We should have got the sandwiches on regular bread though. Although tasty, the buns were not really our thing. Delicious donuts! Everything was very affordable. Keep up the good work here. Good to support a local business in this town

I love this place, but they weren't able to make me a Rueben sandwich last time I went like they usually do because they were out of stock for it, and it was so disappointing. Other than that, they make the best donuts in town. Their sandwiches are a little pricey, but always fresh and pretty good.

Went here for the first time today and will definitely be back next time in home visiting. We ordered a dozen doughnuts and the selection and price were amazing. Staff was very friendly and the doughnuts tastes amazing. Definitely worth going to over a chain place.

This cafe is great. Staff are wonderful and there is a good selection for lunch. One of the owners asked us twice how everything was. They have great customer service. We will be coming here every year when we come to Cape Breton. This is a must stop place when you go to Glace Bay.

I have definitely changed my mind on this place. The impression I got when they first opened didn't do justice to what they have become. When I first walked in they were just after opening and on top of not having much selection, they didn't really offer anything you couldn't already get at 10 other local bakeries. Now they have really made their mark with great products and reasonable prices. Definitely recommend this bakery!!
