My son was 2 years old when he started in the Toddler class with Ms Alona and Ms Elizabeth. Excellent routine, Montessori materials, and teaching. Ms Alona has a Masters in Biology, but boy is she gifted with young children. Using her soft and gentle manner, I've seen her speak with my son with such patience and clarity that he responds in kind and so well to any direction or redirection. I've also seen my son give big hugs to both Ms Elizabeth and Alona: this place truly cares for the children and also treats the parents and children like a family and community. (I contacted them 3 months, and 2 years after my son left, and they still remembered and asked about BOTH my kids!) In addition, I was pregnant when my son started school, and the teachers were sensitive to not only my doctor's appointments ( there were times I had to keep my son longer than expected) but also when the baby finally arrived, they took care to give my son the extra attention he needed. I could not be any more grateful for for my son's first experience with school to be at Prince Edward Montessori. Any child would be lucky to attend this outstanding school!
