This is our first year at Strawberry Vale, but we are already so impressed. The teachers are truly amazing and clearly love what they do. They take the time to build meaningful connections with each student, and it has been a joy to watch my son stretch his comfort zone and take on new challenges each day.

Strawberry Vale Coop Preschool is amazing! The teachers are exceptional, supportive, and strive to create an inclusive and welcoming community. The school is located in an 1890’s red schoolhouse with a fenced yard, adjacent to Strawberry Vale elementary school grounds, to which they have access— the kids spend tons of time outdoors. All three of my children went to this preschool and I have recommended it to other parents at every opportunity. It is a wonderful program.

Amazing program with an wonderful educator. Both our kiddos spent their preschool years here and I am so grateful for the experience. The friendships made here have lasted well beyond preschool. The support of a cooperative community is the village we needed to help us through these really important years. I really loved being in the classroom and being involved with the school. I am definitely a better parent because of the experience. Teacher Gail is empathetic, nurturing and is the heart of the school. Our kiddos continue into the public school system with a social toolbox that made that big transition so much easier. Can't recommend this school enough!

Our daughter is having a fantastic time at Strawberry Vale Preschool this year and we are so happy we signed her up. She comes home after each class with all kinds of fun stories about her friends and teachers. Covid has made 2020 a tough year for our kiddos, but the staff and students at SVP have really made a difference for our daughter and we are so thankful!

The 2014/2015 school year will be my third and final year at Strawberry Vale Preschool. I am really enjoying my time at the school. Teacher Gail and Teacher Vanessa are both amazing and the environment is clean, fun and well looked after. I know my kids will remember their preschool experience and their teachers forever. I feel like I have been in this small community within our larger neighbourhood and its a great feeling. One of the greatest advantages is that I already know many parents and kids that will move on to elementary school together with my kids. It is a great feeling to have a connection with other families before even starting kindergarten! I feel more confident in my parenting choices and abilities and have learned so much through this experience. I highly recommend this program to anyone. You do have to put in some work to keep things going but you will take away more than what you put in. Definitely worth it!

Our son is absolutely loving his Strawberry Vale Preschool experience. The school is well equipped with everything children need, including a great outdoor space that easily accommodates the current pandemic preference for outdoor learning. The staff are fantastic, really taking an interest in the children and their early childhood education needs. The location is central, which makes pick up and drop off easy. Thank you SVP!

I really like the hours. I wish I found this preschool when my older kids were that age. They have a really caring staff and I feel at ease bringing my child here--they also do great, fun programming.

I am very grateful to SVP. I love that I get to participate in my children's eduction. I've also found it much easier to make friends with other parents than I did when my children were in day care. There is just more time to interact with the other parents. I love the Teacher Gail focuses on having the kids learn about nature in and out of the classroom. My 3 year old has developed a love for and fascination with owls and frogs from his time in the classroom and exploring the pond. My oldest son was born at the end of December. Most people and articles suggested holding him back a year, before starting kindergarten. Thankfully he was registered in the preschool afternoon 3 and 4 year old class. Being actively involved in the classroom gave me the opportunity to observe him playing with the other kids. I noticed that the 4 year olds, some of who where 11 months older than him, were his peers. Because of this we did not hold him back and now he his at the top of his Grade 2 class for reading and math, plus he has many wonderful friends, most of whom he met in preschool.

This is an absolutely amazing preschool. I love doing the coop preschool - I've met a wonderful community of like-minded parents, and it's amazing to have the opportunity to be involved in my child's education. Teacher Gail is an amazing resource, and obviously cares so much for our kids. We'll be coming back when number two is old enough.

Strawberry Vale Preschool provides a great environment for my son. There is always something new and fun for him to do and the teachers are nothing short of amazing! We are so delighted to have found Strawberry Vale Preschool - the Strawberry Vale community in itself is just so quaint - the quintessential community to raise kids - and this preschool has seen most of young people! It's hard not to fall in love and align with its philosophies around play and kindness. The programming is so special and uniquely inclusive - it really nurtures a great, healthy environment for kids to learn and grow. Our son is thriving there!
