Worse Canadian tire in Canada,there so bad that the head company wont even come good for there mistakes.If your dumb enough to get your oil done there make sure its not over full and ruin your motor...............Crappy customer service,so worth the drive to Yarmouth if you really need to go to CT at all.

Today I tried to buy a new battery for my lawnmower by going through the auto entrance. After all that is where the batteries are kept. I could not get into the store without a tremendous amount of trouble. I am in a walker as I have a broken ankle. Turnstiles cannot be used in a walker but it did say to use the other side, which I did but that side does not open and if it did there was a bin of goods in front. Seems Cdn Tire wants you to walk through their entire store even if you are in a walker or wheelchair. I bought my battery and by the time I got to the car after all that walking I was and still am in a lot of pain. Thanks Cdn. Tire. Can't say when I'll be back.

Visited from out of province because I needed a new 7 way plug for my trailer. Called in advance to check stock and they auto guy assured me they had some and warned there are different styles (w/ & w/o center contact). Got there and he came to check my trailer to make sure I got the correct one and found it on the shelf for me. He also gave advice to prevent corrosion on connector. He had no other customers so we shared perspectives on life and politics from different parts of the country. Thanks Andy!

Went to the store on sat,Jan 4 to look for a couple things and decided to use my points(over $90.00) At the Yarmouth store I was told that because I don’t have a card,just use my phone number,that I would have to have my driver’s license as proof of identification. The cashier didn’t understand this so she called the floor manager over and she wasn’t much help either. When my wife replied that we didn’t have to come to this store again , the response was”whatever”. Guess I will stick to my local store.

Just now, making a purchase. Only one in line. Debit machines not working. Had to use a second till. Waited for service while the two employees (one possibly management) had a conversation about a 3rd (I assume) ex-employee. The place could use a customer service lesson or two.

Last time I was there I had to wait in line to pay my articles I bought. For an endless time I had to wait patiently that the cashier finished her private conversations.Àfter complaining a second cashier was suddenly available and served me and other angry customers.

Worst customer service I have ever received! When not satisfied with a product I do not need to be lectured about my attitude! When someone returns a product they are generally not there to be happy and full of smiles. A 45 year old does not need to be told how to speak in public. I will never return to your store. This last visit to Canadian Tire was awful. We were to pick up a kayak, which was purchased as a gift and to be picked up today. We went there and the kayak was nowhere to be found!! Five or six employees muddled about for over an hour, with no success finding the paid for kayak! My partner, because of a trip planned this week, purchased another kayak at $100 more than the one purchased, as a gift. Further to that, last Fall, I purchased 4 tires and some other items valued at over a thousand bucks. When I got to the till, the cashier asked me for around $300. I mentioned that couldn't be correct. She could not have charged me for the tires, which were $600. After a few minutes, fussing with the till, she assured me that the amount was indeed around $300. I paid her but when I got to my car, I could not leave the parking lot. I went back to the store, explained what had just occurred. I insisted there was an error and paid the $600 for the tires!! Cashier training: fail!!

I would like to publicly thank Vehicle Service Representative NICK in his way of dealing with a huge situation that developed concerning my vehicle. He dealt with it professionally, with understanding and made me feel that customer service is still alive. Also, much appreciation is given to JESSIE, master mechanic, the service manager and the shop staff. All of them made my visit there a good experience. The situation that had transpired with my vehicle at Canadian Tire was of no blame to the company or its fantastic staff in that department. Every one went well above and beyond my expectations. Very disappointed in this Digby store. I have medical issues an they no it. Not allowed to shop there after I been shopping there the last year. Last time they let me in they announced over the PA that there was a man in the store with no mask. Very unprofessional. Funny cause all other ctc stores would let me shop. They have lost my business for life. Thank god for Walmart an Amazon.

Frustrating when you buy a scope at Canadian Tire to go on a muzzle loader they sell and you cant get the proper mounting plate . And there was no way to check part numbers.Even with the help of the counter person

You know, Canadian Tire used to be mostly auto parts, been going there for close to 50 years. Over time they have added to there product range and now sell most household and gardeners goods too. Shop wisely for amazing weekly specials! Picked up 40 watt solar panels for 70% off today, solar power to run our greenhouse electrics.

The store is a little chaotic at the moment as renovations are taking place. Shelves are empty in a lot of the aisles, and their covid protocols seem to have lapsed as there was no hand sanitizer available. It appears that the shopping carts are also no sanitized after each use by staff. We had to ask for wipes to clean the cart before using it.

Tried to exchange a jug of oil in store. They couldnt find the purchase history and i had no receipt. After 20 mins of wasted time i started to raise my voice in frustration only to have the customer service person scream and yell at me and tell me i was embarassing my mother who was in fact frustrated also. They finally manually exchanged the item as they should have done within the first 2 minutes. I left the store with one unkind word and was again yelled at. Their manager on the phone a day later said "I would have told you to get the F out of the store."..... and all because their employees took 30 mins to do a simple exchange with no refund needed! This is customer sercice at its worst. Also they let garbage and debris build up around their store grounds like they are a garbage dump! Need a whole new staff at this deplorable store

Store can get crowded. They're expanding / remodelling now. Sometimes staff can seem a bit grouchy or snappy with you. Online orders could be better as the app will tell me it's ready when it's not and staff will act like it's my fault for coming early.
