Some of the biggest breakfast portions I've seen so far and good thing too because I would have wanted more

The definition of a 3 star hotel. The inn was advertised as clean and friendly - and it was. What it didn't mention was that it was outdated and just weird. Carpet and wallpaper is fine, outdated, but fine. The door to the balcony in our water view room was very stiff and hard to open and close, which again isn't a huge deal but is annoying and questionable. What's weird though, are the carpeted boxes on the floor - sort of makes you wonder what they're covering up. Again, odd but not a deal breaker. What was for me was something that, in my opinion, should NEVER be in a hotel room: a locked door inaccessible to guests. Is it just a utility closet or access for maintenance? Probably, but having a locked room in the room your staying in is uncomfortable and unnerving. If these sorts of things don't bother you, the inn is otherwise fine. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. View was nice and there's lots of parking. But I'll be steering clear of the weird locked room without a door handle thanks.

We stayed at Admiral Digby Inn in late August. We took the ferry from Saint John and were really surprised at how close it was to the hotel! It's not far and a really easy drive into the Digby town center. The information in the book in the room was extremely helpful with finding things to do. We had a fabulous hike at Van Tassel Lake which I'd wager we wouldn't have found had it not been for the book. Really helpful and friendly at the front desk. Nice to have laundry facilities too. Room was clean and comfy and the wifi was excellent.

Great view. Nice staff. Clean older inn and so close to all amenities plus pool. For the price so worth it. Also very helpful desk staff great with getting us a last minute whale charter. Which is a must do if here. Ty for the great memories.
