McCloskey is a very good school! Although, your experience may vary, depending on which teacher you get. Mr. Nyznik, Ms. Keval, and Mr. Chang are pretty good teachers. Also the principle Mrs. Nelms in really nice. Next, the school's musicals are very good. McCloskey spends a lot of effort into those. There are actual mics that you clip on, on stage props such as couches and cardboard backgrounds, spotlights, backstage crew for sounds, and more. Mr. Teng, the school's music teacher is also really dedicated and worked a lot on those plays. However, I'm not sure if he's still there. Also, I've heard the field trips are one of the best out of Delta schools. Grade 7 Camp in Camp Sasamat was really fun, a lot of fun events and games such as face painted capture the flag, canoeing, smores by the campfire, hide and seek at night with flashlights (where you try to find the teachers), and more. We also went snowboarding and skiing in Grade 7 multiple times. In grade 6 we took a Ferry to Victoria and visited the Royal BC Museum and got a tour inside the Parliament buildings. Next, there are big fields surrounding McCloskey, good for playing soccer, capture the flag, and manhunt. It can be pretty fun. However, the playgrounds are all right and kind of old. Although, there is a nice basket-ball court in the front and hoops in the back (the one if the front is nicer). A lot of people and highschoolers play on the court, it's a pretty popular spot.
