(Translated) My child has been going to this private daycare for 1 years. Everything is going well, my educator communicates quickly and very well in both languages, French and English. We have an application to predict the time that we will arrive before picking up our child and an application to see his progress and what I could play at home as games to help him in his development. The staff at the reception desk are responsive and respond professionally, except that they communicate more in English so you don't need to talk to them in person or on the phone, personally I was looking for a mode of communication in English so I like it. Unfortunately, I haven't seen it specifically inside but I do agree that everything is clean and does not have a toy overload which allows my child to find this. the staff maintain the exterior very well and they have 2 courses for children, very well maintained. The daycare offers photos or sharing of moments on Instagram. The meals look attractive and healthy from the photos and menu. I have never had any dissatisfaction with my service and that of my child. I am in a multi-age group I had to foresee during the year costs for the purchase of food on a voluntary basis for a Halloween and Christmas buffet, costs for the purchase of material such as paper, pencil, box of tissue. Regarding the custody prices it increased this year I imagine that it must be done every year so to plan and the purchase of a uniform my uniform can be mixed with clothes from the stores of the same color. Finally, the photos on instagram and the daycare website represent the daycare well. I hope I was able to help another parent make their choice of daycare. (Original) Cela fait 1 ans que mon enfant va à cette garderie au privé. Tout ce passe bien, mon éducatrice communique rapidement et très bien dans les deux langues, français et anglais. Nous avons une application pour prévoir le temps que l'on va arriver avant prendre notre enfant et une application pour voir son évolution et qu'est ce que je pourrais pratiquer à la maison comme jeux pour l'aider dans son développement. Le personnel au bureau d'accueil sont réactif et réponde professionnellement, sauf qu'ils communiquent d'avantage en anglais donc il faut plus leurs parler en face ou téléphone, personnellement je recherchais un mode de communication en anglais donc cela me plait. Malheureusement, je n'ai pas vu spécifiquement à l'intérieur mais je reconnais que tout est propre et n'ont pas une surcharge de jouet ce qui permet à mon enfant de ce retrouvé. le personnel entretien très bien l'extérieur et il ont 2 cours pour les enfants, très bien entretenu. La garderie offre des photos ou partage de moment sur Instagram. Les repas ont l'air attrayant et santé d'après les photos et menu. Je n'ai jamais eu de mécontentement face à mon service reçu et celui de mon enfant. Je suis dans un groupe multi-âge j'ai du prévoir durant l'année des frais pour l'achat de nourriture sur base volontaire pour un buffet halloween et noël, des frais pour l'achat de matériel comme papier, crayon, boite de mouchoir. En ce qui concerne les prix de garde il augmenté cette année j'imagine que cela doit être fait à chaque année donc à prévoir et l'achat d'un uniforme mes l'uniforme peut être mélanger avec des vêtements du magasins de même couleur. Finalement, les photos sur instagram et le site de la garderie représente bien la garderie. J'espère que j'ai pu aider un autre parent à faire son choix de garderie.

We loved and still love our experience with WIMA. my wife being a front line worker, it was a challenging time for us. Thankfully. the WIMA team was there to support us! they were able to stay open and welcome our daughter to help us get through these stressful days. We've noticed a considerable growth in Leila's speech, organisation and structure, social etiquette and is overall blooming! the educators are all more than qualified and the administration is always ready to collaborate, communicate and work in tandem with parents to best support children. We recommend it to anyone that is looking for an "above and beyond" approach to educating children.

It only takes one visit or one glance at the school's Facebook or Instagram to see that West Island Montessori Academy is a special place. We feel so fortunate to have been part of the Montessori community for the last few years. The educators and administrators are so caring and passionate about what they do. They really pour their hearts into caring for the children. My daughter is graduating this week and is so prepared for school, reading entire books at bedtime and, most important, has a love and thirst for learning. My son is graduating from the toddler class to a Casa and we've had an equally great experience with him so far. Caring educators, amazing Montessori environment and approach, healthy meals, a beautiful playground outdoors, very clean... what more could a parent ask?

Extremely disappointing. Send my kid to the private daycare. Lack of management, lack of organization, educators are discouraged, poor quality meals, unless you want your kids eat macaroni and cheese very often. ONLY 2-3 hours of Montessori based education at mornings. After that it becomes a regular daycare.

My both children goes to this pre-school, the premises is very clean, safe. The classroom I have seen has large windows, lot of light. The building seems recently renovated. The class room has good child to teacher ratio, teachers are very very caring. The have been giving close attention to kids. The management is very helpful, they have been conducting lot of indoor and outdoor activities. My daughter really enjoyed many field trips organized by management. They recently conducted parent teacher meeting, it was very helpful to learn way they are teaching and giving our thoughts. It was very satisfying to see management, teachers latterly spent more than 2 hours with all parents to answer our questions. So far I found this place very good, and strongly recommend this place for children < 5 years.

WIMA is an authentic school which truly upholds Montessori's philosophy. The educators are all trained and qualified as well as loving, the environment is beautiful, the meals are delicious and healthy and the administration is top notch professional. I highly recommend WIMA to any parent looking for a high quality, well-rounded preschool for their child.

I strongly don't recommend this daycare. The tools, they have them but the approach, cruelly lack. Flashy programs, not based, as we would wish, on child's interest or development, but on smokes and mirrors. Here are the points that have decided to withdraw our child: cornering because our child was crying to see us (first, punishment shouldn't be used on this type of setting, it should be dialogues and interactions with the child to let him/her know what to expect and what's more to provide a good model of what to do in a situation, second, crying because you miss your family should never be punished, a child needs reassuring care givers...), little outside time (which is primordial for any healthy child development, for them to explore things and go further in their own experience of the world) and in a small corner of dusty terrain, force the child to eat, mediocre food where the vegetable is non-existent (pasta most of the time even if the menu says something else), very far from the new education. On the other hand, the floors are always clean as the snow clothes are always dry ...

Notre plus jeune a plusieurs allergies alimentaires, et nous n’avons jamais douté de l’engagement du personnel envers sa sécurité. Nous avons pu travailler ensemble pour trouver les meilleurs compromis pour la classe tout en assurant la sécurité alimentaire de notre enfant. Notre fils a son propre lunch, mais tout a été mis en œuvre pour que la classe demeure sécuritaire pour lui. Les solutions sont venues parfois de l’administration, parfois de nous ou des éducatrices, mais ce fut un réel travail d’équipe. Nous sommes extrêmement satisfaits du travail de l’Académie Montessori de l’Ouest de l’Île, tant au niveau académique qu’en ce qui a trait à notre défi familial personnel.

Worst daycare based on our opinion. The staff dress like they are going to a cocktail and behave as such. Very pretentious and do not care about the children from the few instances we saw before pulling our daughter. Whenever I am asked by friends, I do not recommend it. They now built another daycare across the street.

Best daycare in the area my 2 kids are/were there since 1.5 years old till kindergarten and we definitely loved and are loving it my last boy is starting there soon and i am so thankful that my kids had the opportunity to be there great teachers, friendly environment, good food and lots of very interesting for the children activities !????
