(Translated) Very good school, the director and the educational team are very available and attentive. Small school that deserves to be known. Perfect school for francophones arriving in Quebec who want a bilingual school. (Original) Très bonne école, la directrice et l'équipe éducative sont très disponibles et à l'écoute. My son took his kindergarten year in this school, and he learned a lot. He has drastically improved not only on his academic subjects but also on arts, music and more importantly social skills. Kudos to the teachers in the school especially Teacher Elsa. It was also easy to communicate with the school's Principal, Ms. Hayat. She advocates for the kids in her school.

Our son was struggling in the public school system in Montreal where the before and aftercare was led by draconian caregivers who made him stand in the hallway during recess because he couldn't stand still in line (this was in Kindergarden). We knew we had to make a change, and put him in ENV. His attitude and happiness improved dramatically. Having the mix of physical activity during the school day and smaller class sizes is amazing, and our son is thriving better than ever. Plus, all the other staff who support the teachers are amazing. My son is feeling better about learning French, more than ever.

During the Christmas break my son woke up one morning and wore his school uniform because he missed Nouvelle Vague so much! Couldn't ask for something better than seeing how excited he is to go to school every day! I love the school's philosophy and the great focus they have on the children's fulfillment. They offer a bilingual education. The students get to do sports daily (that's on top of recess), they are always stimulated intellectually and they also teach emotional intelligence. Super friendly, diverse, inclusive. Feels like a family.

My daughter was studying this school last year She was in 4 grade it was first experience in Montreal Unfortunately they have only One teacher for grade 4-5-6 in the same class room ???? I know it’s so weird and un expectable but it’s continue for whole year I paid 12.500.00 $ plus extra charge for French lessons At the first of the school year I paid1000.00$ for reservations and after because I paid monthly when I asked what about 1000.00$ They said we let you know when you can pay less but for last month I payed by the mistake like as another month after 3 days when I realized they were accepted the money and I asked about that, they told me we have to calculated and look at your daughter’s profile if we owe you we absolutely give it back, but after 3 months they gave me only 500.00$ instead of 1000.00$ They said for reservations, for next school year but which reservations. I didn’t sign any contracts or sign anything I told them before than others parents I told them my daughter Not coming,I called,I talked to you. After a lots of emails and calls they give me the appointment and said me I know it was your first year but you have to go to post office take a paper and sign it and send it to me and I have to sign your papers, I have saw with my eye to improve that, your daughter not coming but I know you didn’t know that And because I am good person I give you 500.00$ And they never send me the documents to improve any things They ignore my emails and my calls You can decide about this school, poor education Worst experience we ever had We remember for whole our life It is not professional It’s not good not at all For payment we was on time,we had never had delays I think 500.00$ it’s not worth

My son went to this unorganized yet uber expensive school for 3 months. It was truly the worst experience for him. He was unhappy, sad and didn't want to keep going there. We changed it to a school with more service, support and structure.. and thank god he is happy again. What a bad dream. Also they promote the school as an alternative program, which is absolutely no true.. we've a major hard time to get a program period. Don't waste your money there.. there are so many really good schools out there.

Our son had the best academic experience at both grade 1 and 2. This amazing memory he had of school shaped alot of his well-being and discipline that will help him go through his entire academic life. As we made it back home now, he has been accepted in one of the best schools thanks to the amazing staff and great deal he learned at this school. We also were very amazed of the positive experience throughout the times of COVID-19, the school worked very hard to assure the students overall health and safety. Ms Hayat is sucha great leader, and we already miss being around the place.

If you are looking for a school with a safe, warm and caring environment, look no further. This is your school. They have zero tolerance regarding bullying, and they take it seriously! The class sizes are small, so your child will get more attention and help, if needed, than in any other school. Although the school does not have a big schoolyard, the kids do several physical activities, such as swimming, hockey, dance, and yoga! The principal Mrs. Drinali is a true leader. She makes herself time to get to know every single child and family. She is approachable, open-minded, and professional. All in all, I can only highly recommend Ecole la Nouvelle Vague.

Great new school that keeps evolving. Classes are small and attention given to kids is remarkable. Bilingual education, swimming lessons and hockey starting at kindergarten, lots of activities, art and constant communication with teachers. During the pandemic their safety measures are impeccable, totally renovated facility and new air system is a big plus. They have a big private play yard, and that's in the middle of Griffintown, kids get lots of fresh air and exercise! Most important is the atmosphere: very friendly and multicultural, older kids are great to the little ones, everyone knows everyone. Our son loves it and he’s hard to impress, loves to study now and that makes us impressed ???? We haven’t regretted for a second not choosing any other “old” private school in Montreal.

Very happy with the school and the progress our child makes. Education is in both English and French, with extra language lessons to catch up if needed. Lots of room for creativity which is important for us. School management is transparent and not pretentious, you can see what you’re paying for and fees are very competitive, especially considering the sports program included in the curriculum.

CARLOS ARBELAEZ

My son is very happy at school. They have various activities, music, physical education, small classrooms, which facilitates more attention to students. Personally, I like it for being a bilingual school (English-French), English is a fundamental and necessary language.

My daughter attended Kindergarten and First Grade at École la Nouvelle Vague. She felt at ease from day one, and quickly made new friends. The teachers and staff are very caring and professional. She was able to keep up with the curriculum even with English/French not being her first language. She got a lot of guidance and encouragement throughout the years. I enjoyed the fact that she had physical education on a daily basis - swimming, hockey, gym, etc. She left the school because we're moving. She will dearly miss her friends and teachers!

(Translated) Great school that we can only recommend! Our daughter has been attending her since early September 2020 and we are really happy with our choice. The school is fully bilingual, there is a perfect balance between the 2 languages. The class size is perfect, which allows us to give more attention to each of our children, the daily sports lessons are a real plus! (Hokey, gym, dance, yoga ..). The teachers and staff are very attentive and available at all times!

Great school! My son started Kindergarten in ENV, and now he is in grade4. The sport activities are excellent, they learn music, and art. There are small number of students in each class which enables the teachers to dedicate more time and attention to each student. My son loves the school, his friends and the the teachers.
