This is the Visitor Centre of the Cornwall Seaway Power Dam. When open, it is very informative on how the St Laurent River got re directed and flooding many villages in the surrounding area to create the Dam. Shows the mass relocation of many of the homes of many of the residents to their new present day locations nearby.

We were 4 adults. My husband and myself and my in laws who were visiting. We took the tour with 4 other people same situation as us. Chris was our guide. I wasn't sure what to expect, but having a guide walk you through the exhibits and speak to you made it quite enjoyable and fun! We all enjoyed our tour, history lessons and information learned. Left with knowledge, took a little booklet and the free DVD! I highly recommend going wether you have children or not! And definitely if you can get a guide to give you the tour, even better experience! Fun time for all ages! Not a lot of walking, which is perfect for those who cannot walk a great deal. Thank you for a lovely time! The Mounts.

(Translated) Very informative visitor center. Here, the technology and the history of the power plant are clearly explained, also for children. In addition, the associated resettlement of villages and First Nations settlements is also explained in a very self-critical manner. A very special highlight of our visit was a personal tour by Mr. Clark. (Original) Sehr informatives Besucherzentrum.

You gotta do the tour. Lots and lots of information it could have been overwhelming, but our Guide was patient and knowledgeable. Felt both proud and sad about the forward and backwards treatment of this tremendous project. The environmental and human partnerships looks like much work has been done and will continue to have more in the future. Simply a great place to spend a few hours in.

(Translated) The Racine Family Association had its 32nd Gathering on September 7th in this wonderful center. The facilities and audio-visual equipment are exceptional. The acoustics of the great hall was very popular which allowed the exchange between the participants without the need for a microphone. The welcome and services offered by the staff were second to none. It must be said that the site is beautiful, breathtaking and a pearl for the Cornwall area. It is a must if you want to know the history of this region.
