You will see all the feddbacks of real people like you who consumed the products of Montessori Pointe Claire (Kindergarten) in Châteauguay area (Canada).
At the moment the firm receives a score of 4 stars over 5 and the score has been based on 37 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is really good, and it is founded on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may be pretty sure that the score is quite faithful. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well with the business, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to put opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...

(Translated) My two children are very happy to attend Montessori. They arrive every morning happy to spend the day there. We are always well received! The team is made up of caring, available, bilingual and experienced people. The activities are stimulating and very diverse. In addition, the teachers regularly share photos of the children's daily life. The premises are also very clean and the team does an extraordinary job of maintaining a healthy environment. I highly recommend this babysitting service! (Original) Mes deux enfants sont très heureux de fréquenter la Montessori. Ils arrivent tous les matins joyeux d’y passer la journée. We had our son at another daycare when we contacted the Montessori Pointe Claire, in the hopes they had room for him (he was 20 months old at the time) - we needed to get him out of a bad situation and the Montessori accepted him with open arms. Our son is a naturally happy boy but wasn’t himself when we made the transition - without going into too much detail, he is about to turn 5 and is in the oldest class being prepared for kindergarten and the best way to describe his experience is that he has absolutely thrived.....the attention, care and love he has received from all his teachers and administration at every step of his development has been fantastic. He’s grown with a group of friends that, I’m sure have parents that feel the same way my wife and I feel. The program that is offered at the Montessori Pointe Claire is second to none and we couldn’t imagine him being elsewhere. We are confident that when the sad day comes when our son leaves the montessori he will be more than prepared for the next stage of his life and education..... Thanks to all of you
A disorganized and unstructured daycare. A waste of money and time, and a real threat for children's physical and mental safety. Apparently when you register your child, they welcome you with an official tour and a heavy file full of information and regulations, that neither of them are applied at day care. My child was frustrated, and had nightmares while attending the daycare. Some staffs are caring, but overall the day care lacks appropriate supervision and management. In my three months experience with this disorganized daycare I had enough terrible experiences to make the decision of changing the day care. Starting over everything: I kept my child at home, took a long leave from my work to search for a day care from scratch: my child was lost for about 8minutes one afternoon when I went there to pick my child up. My child was bitten once, and two of new changing cloths (t-shirts) were lost and no one in staff had any idea what has happened. After reaching them, they put all blames on my 3-year-old child that the child is the only one that doesn't know that should not leave the building, or it's the problem with a possessive child that doesn't share toys with others, so the child is bitten for the first time in day care's history!! Officially, they say that they have fixed educators for each class, but practically multiple interns are playing the role of educators at day care, and they change periodically across different groups. The day care doesn't care about COVID symptoms at all. Even when I informed them that my child had a fever and should stay at home, they didn't ask any further questions or followed up later. My child had fall accidents almost every day, I didn't receive any accident report even with big bruises on my child's chin or chest. Their excuse was because the educators didn't hear anybody cry, they didn't notice anything. Of course, they didn't care even washing and sanitizing the bite site!
My son loved it the teachers where great
I totally agree with Katie below. They don't care about toddlers. I removed my son from there.
great
This place is a nightmare come true! Like in any horror movie it started with a perfect meeting where this perfect place was depicted. Happy kids, competent teachers and staff. Then we got to the money part... it was hard but after some thinking we had to do it for our child. The day we started the summer program we started noticing how the “teachers” were more like bouncers or security guards. The second day, the nightmare started, I came to the classroom to see my son sitting by himself in a corner crying, the second day one of the bouncers complained about my son’s attitude. As a responsible parent I told her I would like to hear some advice on how to help him so we could work together as a team. What was I thinking??!! She said she didn’t know what to do but maybe a book could help... lol... the days went in and, like in a horror movie, I had this feeling something was wrong but I’m not a teacher/bouncer or some hipster with some ready made answers. Fast forward to 2 weeks after the enrollment, I got a call from the director telling me how my son isn’t fit for the place... the classic it’s not you, it’s me breakup talk. Thanks to the amazing team at Montessori I had to leave my job and a substantial income to be with my son and help him go through this time. I wish I could give them a lower rating... too bad!
This is the only daycare we felt it was safe or good enough for our children. Our daughter went there for four and a half years and now our son is in his third year. What makes this place amazing are the people working there. Thank you Montessori for all your dedication and support. We truly believe it made a big difference in our children’s development.
I'm a mom of 4 kids- 3 have been to Montessori. I plan on sending my youngest as well. I have only good things to say about Montessori Pointe-Claire and all of their employees. They have cared for my children as if they were their own. The Montessori curriculum introduced in the morning is great. They have an amazing playground and garden. The extra activities available are diverse. The option to send my kids part-time is perfect for me. The fun and unique summer camp allows families to modify their schedules in the summer. They have amazing and healthy food served daily...that my kids enjoy and eat. French, English and Spanish education. We have built amazing relationships with all of the staff and I trust them fully.
Amazing staff

We have trusted the staff and educators at Montessori Pointe-Claire since our son was 18 months (now 3yo). They have always been accommodating to us as parents and more importantly to the specific developmental requirements of our son. Excellent programming, always keep the little ones busy and interested in what’s going on! Would recommend to any parent looking for structure and an intellectual challenge (in a fun and interactive environment) to facilitate growth of their child.
My 3 year old has been there for 6 months and he’s beyond happy. So are we, the team is fantastic and they are doing an amazing job with the kids. He’s learning everyday and it shows. I highly recommend this place.
My little one has been attending this daycare for a few months now. It’s taken me a while to write a review since I really wanted to observe how the school has helped my son’s development. Since attending the school, he has become more social and his speech, gross and fine motor skills have developed immensely. We love that the children spend time outdoors weather permitting. We love that they have different activities well planned out and fit for every level/class. The diversity and inclusion in the students and staff are visible. Being an immigrant family, the school has made us feel more than welcome. They do not have a “pure” Montessori approach but they do empower the parents and the child in most every day routines — something that resonates when we get home or on the weekends. The staff and teachers are just amazing and should pat themselves in the back for staying strong in these Covid times. Overall, we love this place and we can’t wait to see all the other milestones my son reaches with the help of this school.
We were very excited to get into Montessori - I teach at McGill and my husband in high school so we know the benefits of a great academic program. We had heard this school's program was great. Unfortunately, our daughter significantly regressed while at Montessori. It's difficult to say if it was the programming or not, but her counting/lettering, emotional regulation, and potty training all declined in her weeks there. Most frustrating was her potty training, when asked if she went at school they would sometimes say they didn't know (?!), "once" or that she was resisting...while we were having dry diapers at home. Before starting at Montessori she was having dry diapers for most of the day - I get that transitions are difficult but we were sending her in undies, asking that she be trained and she wasn't getting taken to the potty. After being at her new school she was potty trained within 3 days. We were initially told she'd be put in a higher class given her advanced speech and personality, but that never happened. We tried to ask questions about her day but neither my husband nor I felt comfortable with the staff. They were reluctant to provide information or simply didn't know the answers to the simple questions we were asking about her day (we did not pick her up at busy times, there was plenty of time to answer). The only time we got a report on her day is if she had misbehaved or had a strange bowel movement. A few times it was clear the teacher we spoke to had no idea what our daughter had done all day. Many days we would go in and she would be sitting by herself at a table while the others danced or did activities. One day she was running like a maniac from one end of the room to the other with two other children. - no idea what that was about. Another day I went in and watched a teacher take her to the washroom to change her diaper and the teacher didn't speak to her - my daughter laid silent on the change table and the women hardly looked at her, it broke my heart. We were required to bring own snack, but often found snacks uneaten and saw pictures of people feeding her her food (she's well over 2 and completely able to feed herself). We saw an increase in behavioural problems at home, but within a week of switching day cares the behavioural problems have disappeared. While she used to run into her old daycare with great excitement, we had to really coax her out of the house for Montessori, with her new daycare she is again excited to go. This wasn't a case of "Montessori is good for some but not for others" - we were very disappointed in the staff and individual care given to our daughter. We got her into a new preschool as quickly as possible. That being said, we did really like the science programming and miss that. No other preschool does such good science at a young age.
As new parents, we had no experience with daycare's. We wanted a place that would be safe, educational, and close to home. We found what we were looking in The Montessori Daycare. It was bright, it had a huge school yard for the kids to play in and the teachers were amazing. My son will graduate from Montessori next year. He has definitely enjoyed his last 4 years there so much so I plan on keeping him there for the summer camp.
My 3 year old son has been attending Montessori Pointe Claire for over 8 months, and he truly enjoys his time at this school. At the beginning my son would cry at times when it was time for me to leave him in the morning, but the teachers were always there to comfort and reassure him and to make him feel part of the group. After a few days he would only cry a few minutes and then he stopped crying very quickly and would enjoy the rest of the day with his friends. The teachers and staff are always very warm and welcoming, even considering the current situation with covid which can be alienating at times. They provide excellent educational activities for the children, and my son is always proud to show me what he has done at school when he comes home, whether it be cookies he made, crafts, academic work such as writing activities to develop fine motor skills, or even science experiments which teachers provide copies for us to try at home. All staff at Montessori are from my experience fully dedicated to making a happy, wholesome and fun experience for their kids. I am so happy to be sending my son here, and I strongly recommend this school to those interested. Thank you Montessori Pointe Claire :)!!
The Montessori Pointe-Claire has been an amazing experience for our son. This is his last year and the discussions I have had with other parents lately, is how sad we’re going to feel next September when our kids move on to Kindergarten. It will be an adjustment for us all! My son has developed and grown so much during his time at the Montessori. The school provides a wonderful environment for the kids and I go to work each day with a peace of mind knowing that he is happy and in good hands. I ‘d like to extend my utmost appreciation to the teachers and staff.
My 2 year old boy has been attending this daycare for the last 6 months and has loved every minute of it. His integration was seamless, he was welcomed with open arms, and the teachers have been great to him in all aspects of his development and play. Management has been very accommodating to factor in my personal circumstances and take my son full-time every other week, and he/teachers don't seem to miss a beat when he re-integrates the school. Kudos goes out to the entire team to continue prioritizing/navigating COVID requirements. Five star...keep it up team!
Excellent Montessori pre-school
We have been part of the Montessori Pointe-Claire family for the last 4 years. Our son will be leaving for kindergarten in September and we are sad to see his time at Montessori coming to an end! He has grown incredibly in the years he has been at the daycare and we love all the experiences he has had that we know he wouldn’t have had at other daycares. From the science, sports, dance, yoga, cooking, excursions (pre-covid) and more, there is always something new to experience. We were so excited to see our daughter start last summer so she can benefit from all that Montessori has to offer as well. The teachers and staff have become extended family for our kids and they are excited to go to daycare! We have had many calls from CPE’s over the years but every time we just couldn’t sleep at the thought of pulling them out of Montessori! Thank you everyone for having such a huge impact on these important years of our kids lives!
I have my daughter enrolled at Montessori Pointe Claire and I believe she’s extremely happy there. She goes to nursery all enthusiastic and simply enjoys every moment. She’s also learned a load of things during the few weeks she’s been
We have been with Montessori Pointe Claire since our two daughters were 18 month old (now 7 and 4 years old) and our children love it there. The teachers pour their heart and soul into making sure that each child thrives. The diversity of the activities that Montessori Pointe Claire offers, are fun and stimulating for the children. The teachers and the staff are very attentive and accommodating for the children as well as the parents. We have always felt that we were part of a big family, in a safe and nurturing environment. Our eldest daughter (who is now in grade 1) is always excited to go to their Summer Camp and see her previous daycare friends as well as her teachers. Thank you Montessori PC teachers and staff for your amazing work and dedication!
My daughter started at this daycare at 2.5 years old after we moved to the west island from downtown. She integrated very easily and quickly with the many experienced teachers and the many student teachers as well. There are tons of activities every week, and even more during non-covid times. The rooms are spacious with lots of windows and natural light, the playground is huge, and the kids spend lots of time outdoors. The staff is super friendly and helpful, but also open to difficult conversations. My daughter is happy there, loves her teachers and never wants to leave when I go to pick her up.
Both my kids had the chance to attend The Montessori school of Pointe-Claire. The little one just started kindergarten and I had a quick chat with her teacher to learn that, just like her older sister, she has adapted very quickly. I definitely have the staff at Montessori to thank. The way they cared about both my princesses gave them all the necessary tools needed to have a successful transition to kindergarten. They have inspired kids to enjoy school for many years with the many activities they offer. It's just too bad they dont have a primary school... Thanks again to all the wonderful staff!!!
Great atmosphere, my daughter is learning many skills and is very involved in the activities. The teachers are always willing to talk with us if we have question or will seek us out if something needs to be addressed.
My child has been attending Montessori Pointe Claire for the past few months and loves the school. She loves her teachers and her new friends. The teachers are always there to help her when she has big emotions and she feels like they listen to her. The teachers are always avaliable to provide us parents with an update on how my child is doing and this helps ease my mind. I was encouraged to call and check on my child as often as I wanted to when we were new. I can see how much my child has learned in just a few months and every day she can't wait to go back to school. I recommend this daycare and preschool to all parents!
