Our child is currently enrolled in the Purple 'Potamus summer camp, and junior kindergarten. The learning environment for my child is excellent, the Purple 'Potamus summer camp is very academically focused but also is a great mix of fun and play! We loved the pet land experience, and the beautiful crafts our child brought home each and every day. The teachers are experienced, and made us, and our child feel comfortable.

The teachers at Purple Potamus are so nice and caring. I felt 100% comfortable leaving my nephew with them and he also came to become very friendly and comfortable with them.

When my daughter started at Purple 'Potamus she was nearly 4 and was very nervous and had separation anxiety issues (no daycare or previous camps/classes to get her used to leaving Mom). It was a tough start and she would cry at the start, but the teachers were SO incredibly supportive, and caring, and they handled each day with a bright smile and really helped her adjust. She found so much comfort seeing them each day, and talked about her teachers endlessly at home. By the end of the year you'd never guess she was the same kid! Completely outgoing, lively, playful, and a great participator in all the class activity and performances. Purple Potamus made an incredible difference in her life, and made the journey into Kindergarten a joy for her and us as parents! Throughout the year she grew in so many ways: confidence (!), 4 languages (yup!), letters/reading, friendship, culture, patience, communication, creativity and concentration. The curriculum at Purple Potamus was appropriate and thorough, and she learned each subject deeply. I attribute a lot of her success in Kindergarten (and she's excelling) to how she was taught in preschool. Her year at Purple Potamus was very memorable, her sister can't wait to attend, and it really enriched her life. Plus she made some great friendships that have carried into Kindergarten.

I cannot say enough good things about this Preschool. My daughter is in Kindergarten now and doing so well and it's all thanks to Ms. Yaqoot and the amazing Purple Potamus staff. Ms. Yaqoot truly cares about the kids and from my very first interaction with her I knew. Thank you ms. Yaqoot, please keep up the good work...Parents out there need you!

This is one of the best pre schools in Calgary, very affordable and flexible. Our daughter has been going for less then a year, and has already learned to go potty. She’s become very confident and looks forward to going to school. Highly recommend this pre school, teachers are amazing!!!

Ms Yaqoot, Ms Sarah are wonderful mentors and have great passion to groom little kids.My daughter wakes up everyday even on Sunday expecting to go to school.Am sure not only my child, all the children look forward to go to school and learn and have fun with Ms Yaqoot,Ms Sarah,Ms Shelly and everyone.Keep up the good work and I wish you all the best always.The potluck for Christmas was amazing too it bought not only children but parents got an opportunity to build relationship with other parents and see their children perform.Was amazing????????

Best preschool. My kid love it. They’ve so much activities and learning that I’m learning too lol at every evening my daughter will go over what she learnt and repeat until she make sure I copy. Extremely good friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Purple Potamus is a great pre-school. My little sister goes there, and my parents and I are thoroughly impressed with what she is (and has been) learning. She has developed a new level of creativity and her behaviour has improved because of the kind environment Purple Potamus has set for their students. She has also learned words in different languages which is a great foundation for young children. I would highly recommend this Pre-school for kids; seeing the excitement my sister has to go to school there.

Our daughter has had such an amazing experience at Purple Potamus!! She has grown so much and has learned so much! Especially with sounding out letters she is now starting to read! She has made lots of friendships and is always excited to tell us all about her day! The monthly newsletters and additional emails are great at keeping parents informed with what your child is learning! The teachers are all kind and friendly along with Ms. Mandip, the director :) I would definitely recommend this preschool!!

Our daughter has gone year for almost a year in their pre-school program and this school is very well run. Both Ms Yaqoot and Sarah do an excellent job teaching children while maintaining a playful environment. We have noticed a big difference in our daughter's social skills, communication skills, interaction, eye contact etc. Our daughter always asks us when can she go to school next? That is very comforting. We highly recommend this school to all parents looking for a very well run pre-school.

The teachers Ms Sarah and Yaqoot take such wonderful care of my son. He enjoys and even looks forward to his time at school. Despite the first few weeks of tears during drop-offs, he was an overall happy guy when I went to go pick him up. This is very unusual of him as he is a very shy toddler, who never likes to be away from home or his family. I am so happy I chose Purple Potamus :)

My daughter started at this preschool immediately she turned 3 years, and she is still with them. Having shopped around in other preschools, this is the best preschool I have seen. Friendly teachers, daily craft ,fun field trips. My daughter will be 4 years old next month, and she has already started reading book. All thanks to the amazing teachers. My daughter attended Purple Potamus last year. She was a very shy kid prior to starting her program but excelled immediately, made friends, and was more than ready for Kindergarten. My son is currently in his second year. He has a mild/moderate speech delay and The teachers offer so much help and support. We see such changes from month to month. Every month they offer a new theme, and they do a great job of arranging field trips or special educational guests. My kids always look forward to this! Overall - I highly recommend them!
