An amazing school, that puts the needs of the children before all else. All 3 of our children have thrived, and continue to do so with the foundation received from Mosaic. Our eldest began reading chapter books in Kindergarten! The owners and teachers are truly exceptional. They are one of the only few accredited Montessori schools in Calgary. They also provide Parent education nights, which help to empower and engage parents into the Montessori culture, and how it can benefit the child outside of the classroom. When you talk to the staff at Mosaic, you can truly get a sense of their commitment and love towards helping your child to succeed. Highly recommend Mosaic Montessori Academy!

Mosaic is a great place and we've loved our experience so far!! I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a great Montessori school.

I have had two children who have previously graduated from their program and a third child currently enrolled, I can say with confidence that Mosaic Montessori completely changed the trajectory of my children’s educational journey. It is an environment and culture that allows the teachers to lead their classrooms with confidence and empathy. My children have all absolutely loved the teachers they have worked with. My older two children now attend Westmount Charter and their successes in school can almost directly be related to the foundations that were built at Mosaic Montessori. They love to go back to their campus and visit their old teachers. They have remained friends with many of their classmates and speak fondly of their time at Mosaic. Very happy with their program and would highly recommend!

My daughter has been attending the Beddington campus for the past couple of years and she has become more independent and learned so many things since we started. We've been very fortunate to have Ms.Maria as her teacher. They have been very supportive of her needs and cognizant of her abilities. Would really recommend this school and teacher!

Montessori in general is a great concept. When rolled out properly, I believe it has impactful enhancements on children that last throughout their lives. Mosaic Montessori is one of the best I've seen. Their teachers are passionate about their work, the owners invest money and time into their product and the parents have all bought into the concept and community. My children thrive in the environment, love going to school each day and are building a foundation for learning. I HIGHLY recommend even booking a meeting with the school to learn more.

This is THE TOP early education institution in Calgary. Our son attended Mosaic Montessori from Sep 2017 to May 2019 (one year of preschool and then another year the equivalent of K). We only wished we would have known about MMA a year earlier so he could have attended the 3 full years of the program. Our son loved his teachers very much and eagerly looked forward each morning to go there and learn new things. Our family loved the community (all staff and parents) and we valued the great organization and curriculum of the program. Our son is 8 years old now and he is still ripping the long lasting benefiting of attending MMA. We are very grateful to MMA for their holistic approach and for preparing our child for success and happiness in the next stage of his life.We highly recommend this program for any parent considering a full 3 years program for their preschool children.

Amazing school Amazing teachers, my child's teacher Mrs. Deborah is like a second mother to my children, she shows love and compassion and cares so much about their futures and success. Every teacher inc the owners have went to bat for the success of my children in some form or another. It's incredible how much my children have learned while at this school. Highly recommend!

This place is great! As long as you stay on their side. As soon as you need to withdraw from the program don’t expect any communication. While my child loved going here and was an exceptionally bright student, when we decided to move provinces we were ignored.

They will NEVER ANSWER YOUR CALLS. They literally are NOT interested in doing business with you and Ms. Maria is a very rude supervisor as when I bought up to her that I have been calling your royal oak branch since the morning and NO ONE is answering my calls, she says well we have other things to do as well so leave us a message and we will get back to you within 48 hours. Like wth ? Worst experience ever with these guys. SAVE UR TIME AND MONEY AND GO TO A DIFFERENT MONTESSORI.

As a previous parent, I’m happy to write this review. I had 2 children attended Mosaic for 3 years. My daughters achievement report last year speaks for itself and perfectly reflects why we chose Mosaic as an ideal start for our children: "N. has an impressive ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Her positive attitude towards learning is a welcome addition to our classroom. She enjoys offering her comments which are well thought out and contributes well. N. is to be commended for her sound academic performance in mathematics and also composes interesting journal and art pieces. She uses phonetic experience to sound out and say words that are new or difficult for her." - So from our family: 'Thank you Mosaic!

I feel really bad with the experience of my daughter's preschool which is she used to attend. The name of the preschool is Mosaic Montessori Academy preschool. The reason for my dissatisfaction is that the Mosaic Montessori preschool has kept $300 child care subsidy for themselves and refused to give it back to me. The truth is the Government sent $1200 to the preschool as the support to the parents in need, but for me, I only got $900 from the preschool! I have all the supported documents include the proof letter from the Government! The owner of the preschool named Mr. Ali said this money is not for my child and they will give it back to the Government of Alberta. But as I know from the Government (I have called the Child care subsidy department several times, and they told me that the money don't need to be returned). I have got the stay at home Child care subsidy from January to December in 2016, and the government paid all the $1200 in three month (March, April, May). The Mosaic Montessori preschool told me that the Government sent $100 each month to them. Because there is no class in the preschool in July and August, and I have withdrawn my daughter from the preschool by the end of November, so the preschool kept $300 for those three months (July, August, December) and said they will return those money back to the Government. Because I have called the Government and have been told that this $300 don't need to be returned, so I have talked this with Mr. Ali, but he is so rude and said: he has nothing to do with it and hung up the phone. I felt that I have been fooled and very disappointed. I believe this is not the only case that happened in this preschool. The Government usually gives parents 12 months subside once they have got approval, but this Mosaic Montessori preschool only have ten months classes per year. I know there are two more families that have encountered the same issue. The Alberta Childcare subsidy is supposed to be financial assistance for the families in need and we are so appreciative to the Government of Alberta. I am writing this because I want to tell all the families the truth, the financial support is supposed to go to the right place for the families in need, but not into the pockets of Mr. Ali. I believe that is the purpose of this subsidy to assist children and will have nothing to say if the preschool has really returned the $300 to the Government of Alberta. However, this not the case and in fact, Mr. Ali has kept the $300 for his preschool (and himself). I don't know which department of the Government of Alberta has the power to intervene and stop or monitor the growing problem of monies meant for children are being kept by Mr. Ali and the Mosaic Montessori preschool. Under these circumstances, this is the only way I can find, I believe this is a growing problem with this preschool and my $300 will seem small once investigation of all funds withheld by Mr. Ali are financially accounted for. The total amount of Alberta Childcare funds withheld by Mr. Ali for the last 6 years since Mosaic Montessori preschool opened business here in Calgary will be substantially high. Thank you for reading!

My two kids went to Royal Oak campus. There is no consistency in the quality of education and care they provide to kids. It's based on luck what teacher you get. Teachers and principle Mr./Mrs. Ali we're not at all helpful. I had voice my concerns to the teacher and principle but there was no action. When ever I try to talk to teachers they are busy and are on the clock. After discussing my concerns with the teacher when I asked what actions can you take to help my kid and she said we are already doing what we could. If you want only education for the kid and you kid is not shy and know how to get attention of others this is ok place as they do teach good. But if your kid is shy and you want your kid to learn social skills this school did not work for me. After going there every day still teachers could not make connection to the kid. They kids who try to avoid work and interaction with others they get left out mainly walking arroud most of the time trying to look busy. They are very cheap about school supplies like paper etc. While promoting their school Mr. /Mrs.Ali say since there are elder kids in the school, younger kids learn form their peers and elder kids get leadership skills. I did not see that. Whole year kids look up to be a leader and wait to be leaders. And my son had very bad experience with leader they were bulling and my some was learning bad language and was trying to be like bossy leaders at home with her sister. When I talked to teacher about the bad language kid is learning she said we teach kids not to use bad word but they learn things from their siblings so we can't do any thing. Teachers were not willing to take any responsibility.they kept on saying it's only a few months. Kids take time etc. Paying $2000 security and $1000 for 2 kids and still teachers can't give time is unacceptable. Tecahers give time to talkative and naughty kids and will make shy kids bully because that's all they observe leaders in the class do. When kids are given power the power they wait for an year to get they misuse it does not treat other kids good. My kids faced discremination and teachers or their teachings were not helpful. Instead of gaining confidence my kids lost confidence and gain complexes. Last day at school there was an incident my kid got hurt. Teachers said sorry but my kid was very angry. I did not know exactly what happened help my son to calm down as even after a week or so to that incident he eyes welled up with tears when he think about school. I called school and emailed to find out what happened so that I can help my kid but there was no response. Till now I don't know what happened but I think my kid got hurt and he started crying and he was bullied saying he is a baby. As he kept on saying to me every one thinks I am a baby. I dont want to see any one or meet any one and after coming from school locked himself in the washroom. At school when I went to pick him I did not have idea the criticality of the issue but when he did not want to see any one and locked himself I got concern. He was bullied for sure in side class with teacher there and he did not know what to do. 2 months have passed I have not got any response from school or call back telling what happened. Which is veey unprofessional and uncaring. They care for money only. If kids cooperate it's good other wise teacher does not have training to handle difficult kids. They don't have time either they have so much to do in they day. The only good teacher is miss Sudeep.

I am from a smaller town and so when I realized how much choice was out there for education in Calgary it was daunting and stressful! Every parent wants to pick the right option for their child. Both my children are girls yet they couldn’t be more different. I have never regretted or doubted putting my kids in this school, it has been a blessing. They are very organized and consistant. They teach so many things that kids don’t always get in other preschools. Respect for teachers, other students, patience, everyday courtesy’s like letting others have a turn to speak or learning to clean up after themselves. The set up and science behind the Montessori way is incredible. The activities are fun, self directed with guidance of a directress. When i’ve Observed 27 kids between the age of 3-5 in a room, I have been shocked with the orderly , content way the children conduct themselves and respect other kids while there. Their kindergarten year is the leadership year and your child is shown how to mentor the younger children in the class. both of my kids are strong leaders because of this program and it visibly shows. My younger daughter can have a strong personality at times but is extremely intelligent and thrives in this setting. She’s recently shown me each province in Canada (that she meticulously punched out of paper using a pin, a popular activity in class) named each capital city for the corresponding province and each flag too...amazing for a 5 year old right? She’s also excited to learn to read and has had the confidence to read her book in front of the class thanks to their accepting , respectful class atmosphere. She’s excited to go to school and learn everyday and her directress, Mrs Maria has a magic touch with her and I truely believe she is getting the best education possible. I would choose this school over and over again. Thank you for caring so much:)

Wow. Just, wow. There are fewer things scarier than entrusting your little one - the thing most precious to you in the world - to strangers. We've only done the Mom & Tot program so far so we haven't had to leave our little one completely but it's still nerve-racking going into an environment that you aren't sure is safe. Not only is Mosaic Montessori safe, it's a haven. My greatest hesitation with childcare has always been not controlling what my child is being taught. With Mosaic, I only hesitate to miss a class because of what my child might miss being taught. I feel like the staff brings such a knowledgeable perspective that fills in gaps in our own parenting. The other kids are all so sweet and honestly, very mature and intelligent, which seems to be rubbing off on our little guy. It's so apparent that the staff actually care about our child. They are clearly passionate about childcare. I mean, I feel like every childcare educator is at some point but they seem to all burn out after a while and you end up with bitter, cranky ladies that have thrown positive discipline out the window. The staff are truly passionate about this and believers in the Montessori method and it really sets the environment. My only regret is that I didn't go here when I was a tot.

My son graduated from Mosaic this June & even though he has only attended Mosaic Montessori Acadaemy (Royal Oak campus) for one year, it has been an amazing year. We chose Mosaic to ensure he had a great foundation before attending public school. Everyday we find out something new he has learned. At dinner one night he went over the Canadian anthem, provinces, their capitals and flags! He really has come out of his shell and become a confident young man! Thank you to all the staff for everything!

My family and I love Mosaic Montessori Academy and we are so fortunate to have found them! My son has been in the program since he was almost 3 and will be graduating and going into Grade 1 this year. I cant say enough wonderful things about this school and their teachers Some great positives are: - An excellent child to teacher ratio (one of the lowest I’ve found in our area) - Loving and wonderful teachers who lavish care and attention to each child. - A welcoming environment (this school is so much like a big family rather than the institutional feel that some of the big preschools have) - The parents at the school are so welcoming and helpful. We even have a whatsapp group where we coordinate birthday parties, and setup playdates! - Engaging Montessori curriculum (a wonderful curriculum of arts, science, math, reading, singing, and life skills). My child is extremely well rounded for his age. Not only were his academics above average but he also showed all the other wonderful life skills Montessori teaches. This was one of the reasons that he was accepted into a very selective and competitive for his Grade 1 school. I’m so proud and excited for him! Being transplants to the City, we struggled with finding a school for my son as he had never previously been in any group school environment with other children. He went from shy and quiet to a bright and curious boy with many friends and a love of reading! We could not believe the difference being at Mosaic Montessori has made for him and our family. We are so happy here and cant wait for our younger child to start soon! Thank you Mosaic!

What an amazing school and fabulous teachers! My child has absolutely thrived in this nurturing environment and he has learned so much during his time there. The school environment always seems peaceful and orderly. All the teachers are very caring and knowledgeable and they always treat the children with respect and kindness. The directresses are very involved with the school and always open to discussions with me. I xan't say enough great things about this place! I highly recommend this school to any prospective families.

One of the best, if not the best, Montessori schools in the city. Mrs. Ali and Ms. Maria are great leaders who set the standard for all their staff. Highly recommended!

My daughter goes to Mosaic in Beddington. She loves school, talks about her teachers and friends, and is always excited to ‘work’. I love seeing her happy all the time!

Mosaic Montessori Academy is one of the most profound and exceptional schools in Calgary. Their knowledge and quality of teaching, with their supportive learning environment is absolutely amazing. I have seen my child develop reading and writing skills that I could not have taught them myself. The knowledge they have gained in various aspects of real life puts me in a curious space. Mosaic Montessori Academy has allowed me to unlock educational opportunities for my children that helped them build a strong foundation for their school years. Having my kids join Mosaic Montessori is the best decisions I have made for my kids. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Ali.

Star Rating - 10 Please let us know why you chose that rating: - My son just graduated from Kindergarten, the past 3 years have been amazing. He's blossomed into a very confident little boy, who learned how to read, write and to believe in himself. Mosaic is more like family to us. I highly recommend this school to anyone that is passionate about the Montessori method.

Love it. My child will be a better prepared person because of this school. Not just smart but also kind and caring.

Bernadene Weskin

My son attended Mosaic Montessori Academy in Royal Oak for 2 years prior to starting Grade 1. Alongside academics he learnt to be independent and his inquisitive nature was encouraged. He is currently in Grade 2 and loves attending school. The owners and teachers are very supportive and my son remembers his time at Mosaic fondly.

Myra Sampson

Mosaic Montessori has been a wonderful school for my three boys, who are all very sensitive souls! The teachers are so committed to the kids! This stands not just for the teachers, but also for the owners and parents, who are an integral part of the school community. Thank you Mosaic!

Making the decision to send our kids to Mosaic has been the best thing we could have done for them. Since joining in September 2017, they have progressed immensely in all areas of Montessori. The teachers and all of the staff are friendly, accommodating, and show a genuine interest in the children. Mr and Mrs Ali have been exceptionally helpful throughout the entire process as well. I’m so thankful to have found a school that truly exemplifies the true meaning of Montessori. I'm confident that our kids will have a solid foundation for future learning thanks to Mosaic Montessori

Shen Gaidhar

As parents of 4 children, all of whom have completed the Montessori cycle at Mosaic Montessori Academy. We were able to witness first-hand, the countless hours of love, dedication, and commitment that goes towards the growth of little minds. The leadership and teaching staff at Mosaic Montessori Academy have proven to us how a prepared environment, where children are able to develop independence, allows them to discover and explore knowledge to help them reach their maximum potential. Our understanding of Montessori principles through parent education and training provided by the staff at Mosaic Montessori Academy. We have been able to watch our children grow and apply their learnings into various aspects of their lives even outside of the Montessori environment, and we truly believe it will shape them into future leaders. Thank you Mosaic!

Excellent school teacher are very good I am 100% satisfied Thanks Mr and Mrs ali

My son attends Mosaic, and has been going since he was 2 1/2. He is now 5 1/2 and in his graduating year. Mosaic offers a safe environment and really shows a love and admiration for all children and genuine interest in their success. My son's vocabulary is vast and and I am very happy with the results of him being there. I have peace of mind that my child is well taken care of and he is getting an education that is of value.

After a lot of research and getting interviewed at several Montessori preschools in the city, we are glad we made the right choice with Mosaic. They gave us a detailed picture of their program. My child wants to come to school even on weekends! The teachers at Beddington are simply amazing!

Sky England

Can't say enough about this wonderful school. The teachers and staff welcomed my boys with open arms and the kids felt immediately at home. A truly excellent experience for all of us. Thank you Mosaic.

What a beautiful preschool, we went for a interview/tour and my daughter did not want to leave, the children in the class were so interested in what they were learning, and the teachers were so attentive to the students, my child cant wait to start in September.

Our daughter has attended Mosaic Montessori Academy in Calgary since she was 2 1/2 years old. We cannot say enough good things about the teachers and staff at this school. She has grown into a respectful, fun loving and smart little girl during her years at Mosaic. The teachers at this school no doubt had a great impact on her learning, development and success. We are sad to see her leave this school but know she is prepared to enter Grade 1 as an exceptional student. We have great appreciation for the staff and teachers for their hard work and dedication! The Cheema family

Our daughter has been going for 2 years and she absolutely loves it. Everyone is wonderful and truly cares about my her. I’m so happy that my husband and I can work knowing that she is being given the very best education. She can read, do math, talk about cultures in different countries. So excited to see her growth!

A Kaur

What an amazing school! Our son has grown so much academically and as an individual throughout his journey at mosaic. Not only were the teachers and owners always there for him but they were always there for us if we had absolutely any concerns. We highly recommend this "accredited" montessori school to all parents! Thank you mosaic montessori for being a part of our childs journey.

Sam Man

I have 2 children that have been through the Montessori program at Mosaic. It was one of the most memorable experiences of their lives. Both are in older grades now but still remember their time at Mosaic fondly. I can say with confidence that the skills they learnt at Mosaic helped them to excel at Langevin (their current school) academically and socially. They are well prepared for their future and I’m extremely happy that we chose Mosaic Montessori for both kids. Thank you Mosaic!

Isabelle Santos

The teachers are well trained, qualified, accredited and excellent and actually know Montessori! Such a difference from another "montessomething" school we came from. Our child has been thriving here. We only wish we had enrolled in Mosaic sooner.

Mohamed Humayun

Simply the best care and education for your child. I couldn’t be happier.

Virginia Wong

Both of my kids were graduated from the Royal Oak campus. My daughter completed her 3 years pre-school and kindergarten program in June this year. Both kids are totally beneficial from their Montessori program. Mrs. Ali and her supporting staffs were paying fully attention to all the student developments throughout the year. Students from there not only learn the academic portion, but also the motor skill sets and creative thinking. The staffs were willing to address all of our concerns and spent time with us whenever we need them. The leadership and independence training for my kids are outstanding in the past few years. We are highly recommended Mosaic Montessori Academy to the parents.
