I have two children that attend Asasa School in the JK and K program for the 2012/2013 school year, and am very pleased with the teachers, administration staff, before and after school care providers, and the students that attend the school. The school atmosphere is very positive and everyone is treated with care and respect, and because of the small size there is a high level of parent/ teacher interaction. I look forward to continuing my children's education at this school, and would recommend to anyone in Calgary looking for a school that embraces honesty, respect, and child development.

I visit their open house school is very clean and staff was friendly. My friends kids attended their JK I saw so much improvement in them. Asasa's education programme is very effective. I love their half day programme but I am going to register my son into their full day programme which is equally good.

Asasa Academy is one of the best preschools in Calgary that is government funded. I had my daughter and now my son who is attending preschool for 2020-2021 school year. Our son has learned so much in just 4 months as he came in late in November. The teacher is beyond amazing with the kids and come up with so many fun learning activities for them. She is very patient ,passionate ,knowledgeable and is very resourceful in delivering a unique and effective preschool curriculum. Thanks for giving our kids a fun learning experience and a great start for their future. I would highly recommend this school to our friends . We are also looking forward to another year in Kindergarten at Asasa Academy

My daughter is in Jr. K at Asasa school and I find that the teachers and staff are truly amazing. I have never come across a school secretary that cares so much about the students in the school as well as the parents. Any concerns that I have ever had (1 issue of transportation on the first day of school) was dealt with accordingly and timely. Even though this issue was not Asasa's fault direcly they were very apologetic and have made it their mission that it never occurs again. They have went as far as one of the directors went on the bus with them the following day. My daughter is 4 years old and knows how to write her name, sing the alphabet, count to 20, knows the days of the week and the months of the year. That is truly amazing for a child that just turned 4 in February. As for children sitting on the floor..... THEY ARE CHILDREN!!!!!!!!! They play in the snow, sit on floors. You make it sound like they make them sit in mud and are completely disrespected and treated poorly. My 10 year old son goes to a catholic school and when I went to their music concert the children also sat on the floor. This is not unusual. ANY AND ALL parents are welcome in the school at anytime and can observe the classroom (without the teachers or students knowing) to form their own opinion on how their children are treated. My suggestion to any parent that is contemplating enrolling their children at ASASA is go and see it for yourself. You will like what you see and like the outcome after having your children enrolled.

I can endorse dr saroosh views about pintown bus driver. He was rude with my kid in the bus and my kid still not happy to go to school. I am sure this because of the bus driver. Bus driver should be polite and able to handle kids and on top of that school management did nothing after many complains.

Asasa Academy is a very good school. We have two kids currently attending Kindergarten at the Northeast-Pinetown Academy (2020-2021 session). It has been a wonderful experience for us. Our children wake up daily looking forward to go to school. The teacher is such an experienced and amazing person. She knows how to communicate the lessons to the students and they learn different things daily. The kids come home with homework for the week and this makes them work through what they have learnt for the week. The most interesting of it is the "show and tell" every Friday where they talk about different things. This activity has really built confidence in our children and they have learnt to talk more about things in their environment. The teacher gives us update daily about the kids activities. I recommend Asasa Academy to parents. Asasa has good management and that flows down to giving good guidance to their teachers that make them do well and positively impact the children. I also love the school uniform.

We are so glad we found Asasa Academy when we did as it is an excellent facility! As a first-time mom I was a bit nervous about the people who would influence my child everyday, and I can happily say that I could not have picked a better facility. My daughter's teacher is exceptional and show genuine affection for all the students in her class. She is supportive, knowledgeable and super friendly. She provides one on one care, encourages her students and tells them she is proud of them every single day. The curriculum is engaging and is setting a solid foundation for better education. They are definitely way ahead of other schools in terms of curriculum and what students are learning. My daughter comes home happy everyday and is excited to go to school the next day, her happiness everyday is testament enough of the nurturing environment. The other great thing is I get to see everything that they do at school during the day as it gets posted on ClassDojo and Google Classroom (apps). As weird as it may sound, they do get weekly homework in KG and I appreciate it because this way they get to review what they learned in school. I am so impressed with the stuff my daughter has learned in pre-KG from saving the planet to reading by blending sounds, to having to present in front of her peers every Friday (show and tell) to adding numbers and being able to spell numbers up to 10. The teacher had made learning so fun and easy! Kids are also taught about different holidays and different cultures, a welcoming environment for everyone, I highly recommend this program to anyone out there who wants a unique experience for their child.

My son attends Asasa Northmount campus school. He is currently in kindergarten and is registered for grade one next year. I’m writing this review as I was shocked by the reviews I read. My experience has been very pleasant with the teachers and other students. I have volunteer for school field trips and have gone to every school event and have never experienced anything like what was mentioned in the other reviews. Yes the kids sit on the floor for Christmas and other school presentations but I don’t think that’s really that big of a deal. I put my son in Asasa for the education and he has come such a long way in just 6 months. He is starting to read and write and adding and subtracting in kindergarten. Within a few weeks of school starting he could write his full name no problem. My advice is for parents interested they should check it out and be there when school lets out and talk to other parents and see if this is a fit for them. At any time that I have had a concern or question regarding my son or the school they have been very accommodating and informative.

I have been to several schools throughout Calgary and also many First Nations schools in Alberta, as a teacher and as a contracted art educator. I have had fantastic experiences with staff and school learning environments at the CBE, Language Immersion schools,The Catholic School Board and at Charter schools such as the FFCA. I usually do not write negative reviews about anything, however this is the first time that I have been extremely disappointed with a school in Calgary. The school is not at all what they claim to be and it was unfortunate because I was really looking forward to going to Asasa, especially after reading the description and mission statement on their website. I found the administrative staff to be incredibly unprofessional and rude and the school environment to be hectic and negative; this was a first for me being in a school in Calgary. After teaching overseas and in other cities in Canada, I am happy to say that I am proud of the many incredible schools that we have throughout this city and it is unfortunate that Asasa does not meet the high standard that has been set. If you are looking for an exceptional school I would highly recommend the FFCA, Webber Academy and the Catholic School Board.

My daughter goes to Asasa School, and I am very pleased with teachers and admin staff. Classroom sizes are very small there are not many kids in each class so my daughter gets one on one attention. Being a private school their fees is very affordable. I would highly recomend this school, if you want good education in affordable fees. I am also going to register my second daughter for next school year. I have seen alot of pregress in my older daughter.

I work for Asasa Academy in PT location. I can see the effort management team has been putting into it, in order to keep the facility nice and clean. We have a small team of staffs, but each member is very supportive. I constantly received feedback from parents that their kids enjoy their class time, and they learned so much even just 2.5hrs per day, not only academically but also kids have better behavior and discipline after attending to school.

Today I registered my daughter at ASASA academy its a very clean facility. Fees is very low and affordable they provide all the supplies and everything. We will only be sending a backpack and a snack how convenient. During my tour I saw kids reading and writing their names already. I observed their class for a while and amazed to see kids know their letters and numbers and so many rhymes. Teachers displayed their Art work on the walls looked amazing I am impressed to see that at such a young age kids are trained to do so many things.

I have Very bad experience from north east pinetown campus. Worse management I have ever seen in my life. Imagine the bus driver fighting with parents and asking them to leave the school.

Hi, This is the second time I am writing my review. These Asasa people deleted my previous review to save reputation & their untrained teachers. If you will delete my review again ,I will write again.I want to aware each parent to know what you guys do behind the lock doors..Such worst school ever I have seen..Lack of staff..Teacher,specially Mrs.Amy Reamer who tortured my son physically & mentally should be out of school.Mrs.Amy Reamer used to hit my son as he told me lately that she hurt him on eye, tummy & chin.At the time of admission commited to give services to our kids but after a month refused to give any service & wasted a month of my son.He lost his confidence & till now if he sees that school, says no & no to Mrs.Reamer.This school is a prison for Mrs.Reamer"s student.School principal was confident about Mrs.Reamer.This kind of teachers you appoint to your school who torture small 4 yrs child. This school is a hell. Not aware of hygiene. So,do not admit your child to this school.

Quality Poor to fair Poor-Fair are really much better words that standard of Asasa school. It is really a bad school. Never ever put your child in such a bad school. They are highly non standardized and treat kids very unprofessionally. Kids sit on floor on special occasions like X mas, remembrance day and teacher push students to sit on floor in front of their parents. Their policies and procedures are totally in dark. School staff and board of Directors seem to be lack of knowledge and confidence. The purpose of school is just earning money, No respect for student and their parents. Think thousand times before putting your child into this hell. Cannot think any school worse than this in the entire North America. Kids are never respected. Many parents are having their kids in the school just because school is forcing them under some untold terms and conditions that they have to pay a huge amount of the money even if they are not interested in putting their child in the school. I was so surprised to see that board of director does not take action against rudeness and bad behaviour of school staff towards parents and teachers.

I love ASASA my 3rd child is attending school with them. He is learning so much and very happy every morning. My elder kids go to their NM campus. All my kids are doing exceptionally good. Highly recommend this school and would like to thank their team for all their efforts and dedication.
