We enrolled our little girl here in Sept 2015 and the experience has been phenomenal. She has developed by leaps and looks forward to her days here. She is constantly learning. The staff are incredible and know what they are doing. Their knowledge on the montessori learning system is fantastic. Not only are the children educated, but parents are facilitated as well and there are frequent workshops held for parent education. I was never a fan of the Montessori system, but after meeting with the Supervisor of Headon Forest and enrolling our daughter in, I am of a changed opinion. :)

We are very happy with Headon Forest Montessori. The staff are very caring and loving. I feel very comfortable leaving our son in their care. He enjoys everyday that he attends and looks forward to the next day. We've seen a great improvement in many ways especially his learning. I would highly recommend Headon Forest Montessori !

My grandson attended HFM...needless to say he no longer attends that Montessori. The leadership there lacks backbone and allow their personal feelings to cloud their judgement. The children are second nature to them.

Our daughter has been in HFM for 4 years, this says a lot by itself. The staff is carrying and very professional. The meals are nutritious and diverse. I know that my daughter is safe, happy, and busy there. Also, she is very calm and engaged which is sometimes hard to obtain at home. She progressed in many ways, learnt a lot of new skills, almost every day she surprises me with new knowledge. I work no standard hours, it has been very helpful that HFM kept its before an after school program during this COVID time when other similar business gave up. I am very grateful. I would highly recommend HFM!

Headon Forest Montessori was one of the best decisions we made for our son! The entire team is wonderful and always ensured my son was well cared-for. He loved his teachers and always looked forward to going to school. At pickup, he wanted to stay longer, which really made it clear as to how much he loved the school and teachers. The school itself was excellent, up to date and kept extremely clean and sanitized. The nutritious and fun meals were always enjoyed by my son. It was always a well priced facility with the benefits of French, music, exciting visitors, and interesting classes! The teachers always treated the kids with so much respect and made a point of speaking to them like real people, not just little kids. My son is extremely confident and well spoken thanks to all their efforts! He recently graduated and still to this day talks about his time there. We even recently dropped off a special drawing he made for them, which is now hanging in their lobby – how special. If you are looking for a school for your child / children, do not hesitate on this one! Thank you HFM, we miss you all!

A gem of a child care facility! All hidden inside our community church in Headon Forest off of Dundas and Walker's Line. My son joined at the age of 3 when we realized we were looking for a more fine tuned learning environment. We came from an at home care which was all we knew. Run by Mahnaz the core owner and along with the most caring of girls - all energetic, passionate and empathetic to the learning of each child. This location Headon Forest Montessori, takes students as young as 15 months (maybe even younger?) up to kindergarten age. Each day is planned with community in mind - building caring skills, shared learning, outside play, science and literacy. WOW is all I can say - and if you think the cost is out of control - WRONG - 40.00 a day - yes for my 3 year old. I never write reviews - but I had to this time to share the blessing that Mahnaz and her caring teachers bring to a Headon Forest child each day:>

My son has learned a lot during his time at HFM. The teachers take the time to understand the likes and dislikes of each of the students, and help them to choose work that relates to those interests. He's also been able to regularly participate in French, yoga, and music at the school. The classroom is very clean, inviting, and well organized, and it's clear that the teachers are invested in helping each of their students thrive.

Our daughter started in the Toddler program at Headon Forest Montessori four years ago at the age of two, and has now recently graduated from their 3-year Casa program. Placing her at HFM is a decision we are grateful to have made. Yes, it is a clean, tidy, and bright learning environment. Yes, they offer a range of balanced meals and lots of outdoor play. These too are things we had been seeking when initially looking for a place that we could feel comfortable with. However, HFM is much more than that. HFM fosters a strong sense of community in their classroom where children can feel empowered. Our daughter has developed a love for learning, and approaches everything with a beautiful curiosity. She displays pride in her work and confidently explains the process taken to achieve the outcome. At HFM, the children begin to develop a sense of self, their emotions are validated, they learn practical skills, and share a true appreciation of diversity. Thank you to the wonderful, passionate staff at HFM. You have left an imprint on us all, and we wish you continued success in all that you do.

What a hidden gem! We love Headon Forest Montessori! I am always amazed to learn what my son does everyday. Not only does the curriculum include science, math, geography and phonics, the children learn independence, core values, cultural awareness and proper manners. The staff are incredible and the love for their job shows. Headon Forest Montessori has definitely played a part in shaping my son into a polite, independent and very knowledgeable three year old! We are proud to be a part of this school community.

Both started school without speaking a word of English. We received great support from Mahnaz, especially in the difficult initial phase. I highly recommend HFM. We enrolled our daughter in the summer program and even though it was only 2 months, you could see the changes! She is more independent and has learned a lot. She enjoyed the daily activities. The staff was simply amazing.

We love this school. Our daughter has been there for the last two years and she loves it. We moved from a place in Oakville soley because of the quality of instruction and the care of the teachers. The director and staff are skilled and treat each child like their own. Our daughter is having so much fun learning. The teachers instruct in the manner that is suited for each individual to ensure they are learning. There is great communication by the staff and they ensure the child passes on what they learn at home. This is a great place for a child to get the foundation to be successful in school.

My son has been at Headon Montessori for 2 years, he has developed a strong bond with his teachers. They are kind, caring and empathetic and truly care about the kids. The curriculum is well planned and kids learn at their own pace. I appreciate that they learn about different cultures and holidays. The school has collaborated with other groups as well (soccer, monkeynastix, music) which the kids enjoy. The staff has played a very big role in helping my son learn to be independant and confident. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about the school and staff!

Choosing the right place for your child is such a stressful time in a parent's life. I knew within the first 5 minutes of my observation visit, that Headon Forest Montessori was the right option for our child. The environment is welcoming and the educators are amazing!

Switching my son from a basic daycare centre to Headon Forest Montessori was the best decision I made. HMF is a wonderful option for preschool, through to kindergarten. The teachers and children are all very happy to be there which says a lot. I could tell from my first meeting with the directress (Mahnaz) that the teachers take their role as both educators and caregivers very seriously. The environment is both academic and nurturing, which is exactly what I was looking for. My little guy always comes home excited to tell me about the new song he can sing, or the snack he helped prepare, or the French words he learned. From nutritious lunches and snacks, to the weekly music classes, to the yoga and meditation exercises, HFM offers a very engaging and well-rounded program. Thank you ladies for all your dedication and hard work.

My son has been attending Headon Forest Monterssori for just under 3 years; all the teachers are very kind and care so much for my son and all the other children. There is no staff turnover, which has allowed my son to developed a strong bond with each of the teachers!!! Over the last 3 years I have seen Headon Forest Montessori grow and develop an amazing program! They have French class; yoga, a music program, gym class and they work together with other groups such as Moneynastix, and Soccer Shots. They always continue to amaze me with all the different activities and how they change up the materials for the Montessori work cycle to incorporate the different seasons and holidays! My son is growing in to an independent confident little man and I know all the staff have played a big part of this and I cannot thank them enough!!! We are so lucky to have found such a great place where my son feels welcome and loved!!!!

Our kids have been with Headon Forest Montessori for the last 3 years and we are so sad to be leaving. We wish the school could continue on until Grade 8 because the community is just beyond amazing. We were initially registered for a different daycare but after sitting in for an hour on an introduction day we knew it wasn't for us. We then found Headon Forest and after a 30 minute walk through of the space and watching the children and the environment I was blown away. The kids were all so calm and engaged in their work. The teachers are all so lovely and we could not have asked for a better start to our children's education. We will miss this special school so much!

Highly recommended- absolutely the best Montessori experience for us. We can’t say enough about what a lovely group of teachers and families Headon Forest has to offer students. It truly is a welcoming community, and feels like a family. Our little one had grown and developed so much there in the past two years it’s really unbelievable. His language skills, and his practical knowledge are both well above his peers. He is independent and confident and we attribute a lot of this to Headon Forest. As a parent, there’s no better feeling than knowing your child is happy and safe! We looked forward to the daily report and pictures of what the kids were doing and learning that day. Impressed with the operation on our twin grandchildren's first day. We observed unseen from our car as their parents dropped them off and were pleased when challenged by the owner as to who we were and why we were there. Bravo! My 3 year old was bored at daycare, so we enrolled him at Headon Forest Montessori for a few days a week. The improvement in his behaviour and critical thinking skills was astounding. I only wish we had started him sooner!
