Foods pretty good. Burgers leave a little to be desired but everything else we had was good. Portions are well sized for what tou pay no skimping. Small inside dinning area with age showing a little but quant anyway. Covid rules inplace.

A great little restaurant with good food and absolutely world class views. Eating inside we could see a pod of around 15 Humpback Whales passing by as we enjoyed our authentic and delicious traditional Newfoundland pea soup.

Had the pan fried fish which was excellent. Great chocolate shake! Extremely large portions. Beautiful spot. At the very least stop in for a ice cream choice. Will definitely go back.

Unfortunately I only had icecream from this place, which was delish ????. My family and I wish we found this place before we ate at 'the other place' because we would've liked to experience a meal here while in Bonavista. Next time! The menu had so many appealing options; it even had rhubarb icecream (who has that!?) So of course I had the rhubarb with toppings and it was SO good. Service was excellent.

Great value! We ordered soft and hard ice cream, both delicious flavours and the price was absolutely reasonable. We were happy to get the cold treat served in the off-season! Nice service, cute little place. If you are looking for a summer job, they had various opne positions when we were there (May 2019)

How can I say this tactfully... I had the BEST cheeseburger, but the fries and gravy left somewhat to be desired. Would I go back? Oh, absolutely! Just wouldn't order the gravy.

Super friendly place. No nonsense with diner food - burgers, fries, fish and chips. Ice cream is fantastic and we especially enjoyed the ice cream float. Our advice is to walk the trail to the lighthouse and then stop here on your return hike!

On a site seeing road trip on a hot humid day and needed something, anything to cool down, on the way to the Bonavista lighthouse is this oasis with home made ice cream, stayed for a bite to eat both were good ????. Friendly service and popular so a little patience may be needed waiting for ice cream treat.

Kust had a drink when we' re walking the Lighthpusetrail. Perfect stop with a vieuw on the ocean. Whales are jumping and vissible from the terras.

Stopped here as it was recommended by more than one Islander. Was not disappointed. The Serving sizes were huge! I complemented the owner saying this was the first meal I've had that nearly defeated me in finishing it. The Fish and chips were delicious and the milk shake was also awesome. If you have a BIG appetite, check this place out. If you have a small appetite, go with a friend and check this place out! You wont be disappointed. Beautiful view, great food and friendly staff. If I'm ever back in the area, will definitely go again!

4 adults, and we all enjoyed our meals. I had the honey mustard chicken wrap which I wish I had more of. My mom finished her pea soup (it's rare of her to ever finish a meal), my dad enjoyed the grilled cheese and my aunt had the club wrap without the wrap which she found delicious. Because she's gluten free she asked for it without the wrap and they still presented it very nicely rather than just tossing the ingredients on a plate. We're very happy and would recommend it to anyone checking out the lighthouse in Bonavista.

You simply have to stop here - you’ve had Mallard Cottage, and now you have try this cozy, homy and incredibly delicious and beautiful local joint, just steps away from the lighthouse. Very few places does the good job on both amazing ice creams desserts ???? AND main course seafood ???? at the same time - Little Dairy King is my favourite joint on Newfoundland so far.

Small unassuming little restaurant in the middle of nowhere but what a meal. If you come to Bonavista you have to stop here for lunch or dinner or for whatever other reason - it's well worth it.

Great place to stop for soft serve ice cream on your way to the Bonavista lighthouse.. Be warned that it can get busy on days when the weather is good! You can also sit down inside for a good Newfoundland meal.

Huge Ice Cream Menu with so many options! Not sure what took longer: standing in front of the menu trying to make a decision or standing in the line up to the order window or actually waiting for the amazing creation to be made! But, the wait is worth it because the view is incredible and the ice cream masterpiece was perfect!

The staff was very rude, they were making excuses for the dinning and they did not treated us nicely. The owner of the restaurant must ensure the staff to behave properly with the customers. Literally, this was the worst experince.
