Edit: We can see the disregard there Executive Director has for policies as she rated her own place of employment a full five stars and her review was nothing more than a response to this review which defamed my character and appears to violate Google policies.
However since I'm having my character defamed I leave everyone with this piece of information. On March 11th First Adventure employees are being made to come into work to receive mandatory training and they aren't being compensated for it in anyway which according to information on the Ontario Ministry of Labour website is not legal.
The Good: The only good thing about this place is the hard working women who dedicate their lives to ensuring a quality environment for the students, and receive little to no compensation for their time away from their own families and have to use their own money to pay for personal internet, data and to access unsecured email plans to read get information about their clients, as this business will not provide email accounts to them.
The Bad: I contacted the organisation about concerns about my personal information being given out without my consent. Instead of answering the simple questions of "Can I see your privacy policy," which I now know they don't have, I received little to no response to my inquiries and had a lawyer sent to deal with me.
What could have been answered with, I'm sorry this has happened we would like to work with you to resolve this, I get a lawyer telling me I cannot speak to them about the issue (even though I live with someone who works there and this affects them too) has now turned into multiple complaints with multiple government departments for harassment, intimidation, human rights issues and privacy issues.
So I recommend this place if you're fine with being treated with harassment and intimidation because you file complaints with the appropriate government agencies because personal information was released without consent, and your fine with the way the employees are treated. If you're okay with that, you can be sure that the women who actually work on the floor with the kids regularly will give the best possible care and education to them.
