Bought 3 large suitcases for Christmas. We went on 1 trip and 2 were wrecked. If course no returns because it is the airline's fault.... But I have "good" luggage from elsewhere and have travelled at least 8 times and still holding up. Regardless of the way the airlines toss them around it should survive one trip. Never again!!
