So grateful to the co-workers who recommended this preschool! As an early literacy specialist, I have been very happy with the quality of care and education that the children have received this year. My daughter is reading fluently, writing speeches and poetry, and loving all aspects of school. She is very well prepared for grade one, and leaves with many memories of fun and creative activities, close relationships with staff, and wonderful friendships with children of all ages (being a small centre, they all have circle time and play time together, and my daughter bonded with other children from different rooms). So many fun activities, lots of fun outdoor play, and wonderful and inviting staff have made this year worry-free! And then there is Chef Steve - his quiet enthusiasm and dedication to making food more than just a routine has made the year extra special. Thank-you to Mrs. Meechan for all of her hard work, creativity, and dedication.

I can't imagine what life would be like for my son without Koalaroo. Annie and all the wonderful teachers are Koalaroo are just absolutely amazing and we consider them an extension of our immediate family. If you haven't checked out Koalaroo as a place to send your child, then you are more than missing out. Thank you Annie and everyone for making K's life super special and bringing him as far as he has come. We wouldn't be here without you.

After her first year of school at Koalaroo I am so proud of how much our 2 year old daughter has learned at Koalaroo. This school is absolutely amazing, it is great to have a place to bring our little girl that I feel she is safe, in loving care and is have a great time! I have never had to endure the experience of a screaming exit when dropping her off here. The staff is absolutely amazing and our daughter has made a lot of great friends. I cant say enough about how wonderful Koalaroo is, we did a lot of investigation in finding the perfect school and after her first full year the hard work paid off. We found the perfect place for her at Koalaroo. - Thank you!

I cannot say enough nice things about Koalaroo Preschool. It is a huge relief to know that my kids are well taken care of each day by a preschool that has very high quality standards. They treated us as if we were family from day one and cared for our children as if they were their own. I recommended Koalaroo Preschool to all of my friends and family who are looking for child care arrangements because to me there is no other facility that I would want to raise my children. Koalaroo Preschool is clean, there is a great backyard, and chef Steve feeds them a variety of healthy meals and snacks throughout the day. Across the infant, toddler and preschool rooms they all have age appropriate curriculums. Our kids have the most nurturing and kind caregivers who teach them new concepts every day. The morals and values that Koalaroo Preschool teaches the children is by far more than I expected. The children are nurtured, yet taught to be independent. The staff is friendly and caring and our little one is truly thriving there.

Koalaroo preschool is amazing. My son has really thrived with his teachers support, kindness, and love of teaching. My son was barely speaking at 2 1/2, and 6 months later is singing songs, counting to 20, saying his colours and is forming sentences. He has developed such a personality, has made friendships and has bonded so well with his peers and teachers. Koalaroo is definitely a top notch preschool, it has been the best choice for my son's development. We couldn't be happier!

We have been at Koalaroo from the start and our son just "graduated" as he is off to grade one. Annie, Chef Steve and the staff have built an incredible experience for the children; a great classroom environment, engagement of different ages, recitals, big grassy outdoor play area, field trips, bright, clean and secure facility, cool summer camps and amazing freshly prepared foods by the in-house Chef!! This is not a daycare - it is a school! There is an age appropriate curriculum, a daily routine and the teachers create expectations which foster the social and intellectual development of these young minds. The space unit and study of Chris Hadfield's adventures this spring was amazing and have sparked such interest and curiosity in a topic I never thought my son would be learning about at age 5!! Having fun while learning makes the kids and the parents happy! Annie's Australian background also adds a special touch to the school. The kids love her cool "Aussi" accent. All teachers approach their roles with dedication and a kind caring nature. We highly recommend Koalaroo Preschool!

Koalaroo has been a great preschool for my girls and I am sad that they have to leave for Kindergarden in September. My kids have excelled so much since starting at Koalaroo. The staff at Koalaroo are kind and caring and treat the children like they are one if their own. They teach/have lots of great learning activities and they have a great outdoor area for the kids to enjoy. I have always felt great sending my kids to Koalaroo, and my kids never want to leave when I pick them up at the end of the day. They try to find a reason to stay for just a little longer. Also, dont forget Koalroo has an on site chef who prepares new and tasty meals for the kids. Thank you to the staff at Koalaroo. You are simply the best!!

My son has been attending Koalaroo for 3 years. Annie and Chef Steve have created such a wonderful atmosphere it only yields happy and joyous children. The lessons are constructive and built for each age group and the meals are amazing! Chef Steve has created a 2 month menu with meals from different parts of the world. My goal was to send my son to KBS after Koalaroo. His transition was seamingless! Thank you Annie, Steve and everyone at Koalaroo for helping mold my son into the wonderful boy he is today.

Koalaroo is much more than a daycare centre. My 4 year old daughter has extreme anxiety issues so I was very apprehensive about sending her to all-day/everyday Jr. Kindergarten this year. Instead I chose Koalaroo Preschool because of their smaller classroom setting (and more attention to the students individual needs). The facility is very well maintained and clean. There are separate rooms for the younger children and older 'students'. There is a safe place to go and play outside after class and Chef Steve makes amazing meals/snacks for the children everyday which is wonderful. My daughter thrived in this environment and I know this was the right decision for her this year. All the teachers/assistants were so caring and attentive. If my daughter was younger, I would have definitely sent her back another year. We'll miss the staff! Thank you so much for such a wonderful first 'school' experience.

There are no words to describe how amazing this school is and how appreciative we are for EVERYTHING they have done for our little boys. Our 3 year old had a speech delay so we decided to try putting him in preschool to see if it could help. Within a few months he was talking in full sentences and singing songs. Also, our 2 year old was recently diagnosed with Autism and the improvement we have seen in him over the year has been astonishing. We are so grateful to all of the staff at Koalaroo and so happy we chose this preschool for our children's first school experience.

Movie Lovers

Koalaroo is a fantastic preschool for all the reasons current and past parents already know: caring teachers, excellent programming, wonderful freshly on-site cooked, by a real chef, meals (and not simply microwave warmed-up prepackaged snacks as majority of other centres do). However they are furthermore outstanding for how far their caring for each individual child extends: to also include, with open arms, children with a variety of learning and developmental disabilities, and to help them thrive alongside their 'neurotypical peers', as equal and valued participants. They also work with different teams of support workers that such children may have access to - such as Simcoe County resource and support workers, as well as private therapists that may have been hired by the families - to incorporate their support for the child right into the daily programming and experiences the child is receiving at the preschool, while also benefiting from regular interaction with their peers. This makes them unparallelled in not only sincere caring for the child's well-being, but willingness to accept challenges above simply providing 'regular childcare'. (and their 'regular childcare' is far and above the rest, too!) Thank you, Koalaroo!
