Took both of our kids to Renert for many years. I also used their services for university entrance preparation. Great resource which I highly recommend! Their new facility is impressive, and only a block from our clinic!

Honestly, this school is AMAZING! The community here is something you will not find elsewhere. Staff is super friendly and caring. The individual attention each student gets is fantastic. Could not have spent the last few years of my highschool career anywhere else!

Its my first year at Renert and it is an amazing place. I suggest it to anybody who can attend. The teachers are experts in what they teach and all of them are willing to help in any type of situation

As a graduate of the Renert School, I can honestly say that this school is one of a kind. It is clear that the Renert family has a vision and a deep understanding of how to operate a learning institution. There are several aspects of the education at Renert that sets it above any other school. First is the culture of appreciation that is valued. At Renert, students don't have to be afraid to try new things or to explore areas outside of their comfort zone. Instead, this is encouraged. At the end of each day, students are encouraged to take some time to think about the things that they appreciate in the day. This, in addition to the atmosphere at the school make it a wonderful place to be on any day of the year. Second, the teachers at the school, are legitimately invested in the lives of the students. Teachers are enthusiastic and knowledgeable in the areas that they teach, and are more than willing to sit down with students after school, during school, during breaks, etc. or whenever they are available just to help a student study for a test or complete an assignment. This level of dedication can't be found anywhere else and is yet another product of the society at Renert. Finally, the Fridays at this school are incredibly unique. The idea of giving students the choice to decide what unique classes they will take that day is just another of the many ways that Renert fosters independence and a desire to explore in the hearts of students.

As a highschool graduate from this school in the 2019 year the only thing I can say is how amazing this school is. I have attended this school for five years and each year I said "this was the best year of my life" only for the next to be even better. If this school is a fit for you, you will excel at a level that could not be achieved elsewhere. The school is unique and it requires an open mind, however, if you embrace the opportunities that the school provides you will be formed into the best version of yourself. My graduating class and I have achieved the highest diploma marks in Alberta history and this can be attributed to the amazing and one-of-a-kind teachers. Finally, I must thanks Moshe Renert and Aaron Renert for building my work ethic and drive to improve myself each day.

(Translated) Schools and cram schools may be good, but are they the principals? Someone who seems to be the spouse of the founder is in charge of the clerk's office, and his attitude to asking questions is arrogant or high-handed. I was disillusioned with the poor handling of this one staff, although there were many good staff. If you do not get good grades, you pay in advance. At first, I told him to go to the cram school and also referred to the story from the teacher in charge, but now it is a completely different story. At the school's briefing, they said that according to each student's abilities ... I think education is for students, not educators. From the attitude of the clerk, I felt that the school puts its achievements first while singing for the students. I found that schools that are good for students and that school performance is not equal. It's a shame that the founder's ideas are just amazing, but the top clerks don't understand their intentions.

I have no complete idea why anybody should be writing any bad reviews about this school. All of the bad claims of this school, after I read it, sound completely incredulous. The environment is extremely safe, and the teachers are all caring. This is undoubtly the one of the best schools you could see in the world.

Its my first year at this school and it has a wonderful community and a great way of teaching the curriculum.

I attended the info session and I thought it was such a wonderful philosophy. So I thought I would send my child here. The teachers are supportive, and have good communication. They have such a great curriculum and my daughter comes home happy and has everything great to say about the teachers. This program isn't for every family out there but so far I'm super impressed with how far my daughter has come. I try not to compare my child to other kids in her grade but I try to look at where was she at 4 months ago vs now. I highly recommend this program to anyone out there who wants a unique experience for their child.

I normally don’t spend time on writing or reading reviews; however, online reviews on Renert school was brought up to my attention just recently, and I was really surprised by some of the posts regarding the school’s admission process! So, I decided to make an exception and share my family’s experience with other parents that are checking different options for their children. Before getting into it, I should also mention that we did look around for quite some time at a variety of public schools and some private schools, and attended many open houses to choose the best school for our daughter’s kindergarten, including two open houses at Renert school in two different years. The admission process at Renert school was pretty straightforward and quick to register our daughter for her first school year (2017-2018 school year). The school was also very accommodating of our timelines (we had vacation plans and also, my daughter had an oral surgery with one month recovery period prior to our vacation). Hagar Renert adjusted the schedules to make sure our daughter had fully recovered from her surgery before the first meeting. At the parents interview session, Hagar talked to us as both a professional and a mom herself. She was very authentic, attentive and direct; my husband and I really enjoyed the discussions and felt totally engaged the whole time. At the end of the session Hagar informed us that our daughter would fit well with the school and we received the formal letter in mail shortly after our meeting. During the whole process, from attending open houses at the Renert school to receiving the admission letter, we never felt pressured by school to pick Renert. We met Aaron Renert at the first open house and simply loved his sense of humor and passion for education. He answered all our questions and stayed after the open house to chat about education system and various methods in general. So, we left the session with pretty good feeling that Renert might be the answer to our prayers :-) A year later, we met Moshe Renert at another open house – we just fell in love with him! He is not just passionate about a solid education backbone, he is passionate about people! He is passionate about raising good people and making a difference in this world! I myself love children – all children; but Moshe truly LOVES and CARES for children and empowering their young minds passionately! For him, it is not just about giving kids a great education foundation that they can rely on and build upon, it is about developing these children into independent, kind, and wholesome adults that strive to become their best selves, have courage to follow their passions and nurture their curiosity in whatever field they want to make a better world. You may also want to know what was our daughter’s experience in her first year of school: “Great, I love my school” (her words throughout the Kindergarten). We never had any problem getting her ready for school since she loved to be there! Anytime we have contacted Aaron or Hagar, they have responded same day, no matter the subject or urgency and despite the fact that they like to keep themselves super busy :-) I won’t bother to talk about the level of education our child has received at Renert – I know the Renert brothers love to share these kids achievements every opportunity they get :-) as a parent it totally warmed up my heart when my 6 year old recently told me “it’s not important how smart you are, it’s more important to be kind.” We hope sharing our perspective helps you to find the best school for your children. As I mentioned in the beginning we had to do our homework and also trust our gut feelings to make the call!

Great experience as a student. Moshe Renert, Founder of the Renert School and Creator of the Choice Friday System™, is a true visionary. Aaron Renert inspires young children to solve new and interesting math problems and expand their intellectual capabilities, partly through his passionate personality, but mostly through Skittles. Not simply a "Math School", the students at Renert excel in a wide variety of fields, and are supported by a staff that actually cares about them as individuals. It also doesn't have the "prison-style" architectural design to which most schools, public and private, have resigned themselves. I get up in the morning excited to interact with a vibrant community, and enjoy that no one has to hide who they are. It's my last year here, and I've grown incredibly attached to this accepting, supportive, and truly extraordinary community. Send your kid here if at all possible.

I would not recommend this “private” school. I will not go into too many details and make it sound like a rant but their “admissions” director would benefit from additional training.

Calgary Calgary

We agreed with all the other parents recent reviews on Renert School. - Yes, the Renert brothers are arrogant and unprofessional on education. In addition, we would like to call out parents' attention on the qualification of educator who runs this school. In our mind, a good educator should has a warm heart to teach, patience to coach and deep, organized knowledge for education planning and development. However, we rarely find these characters in these two brothers. Instead, we found ignorance of bullying, harassment and stealing at this school. - In response to preview comment from one of parent regarding moving a teacher from BC to Calgary for spelling. The teacher was looking for a job in Calgary prior to joining and teaching at the school. There was no physical relocation for that teacher. By speaking on this, integrity and honesty are continually to be an issue/concert. - The teachers' qualifications and attitude are also big issues at this school. - By the way, the school has asked the parent to vote "like" in the school Facebook and other communication channels. RENERT SCHOOL, IF IT IS A GOOD SCHOOL, NO NEED TO ASK PEOPLE TO VOTE. Renerts, do you know how to earn your school's reputation?

Arrogance and indifference to children’s true wellbeing. Unfortunate.

Everything Hand Made

Avoid this school. This school is run by two brothers( Moshe&Aron) and Aron's wife. The owners are very! arrogant and their administration staff is useless and not professional. Constant miscommunication, "oh I thought I did" " oh it wasn't me" " I don't now". Very unprofessional staff its a joke honestly. The initial test is done by an administration staff( who actually isn't qualified to do such tests but they are using Aron's wife qualification to do this test). Which should be done by Aron's wife NOT by some admin staff. By the way, this "test" is just to charge you money easy money for them. This test does not guarantee a spot for your kid/s. IF and that is a big IF you want to send your kids to this school. They are arrogant and don't give a damn about what parent's think and they have a "my way or high way" attitude. For this reason I don't see future for this school. The teachers (elementary ones as I don't know anything about the high school teachers) are NOT how Aron make you believe. They are very cold, no emotions whatsoever and arrogant( I guess if they want to stay in this school they have to be arrogant too). He is bragging about a teacher( spelling) who he transferred her from BC and how he paid her so much money etc. to bring her here. But if you ask me waste of money. I tell you something, why don't you ask them to meet teachers BEFORE you pay so called "test" and make your mind after? See what Aron will say :) I have to say that both brothers are good math teachers but no manners and they are snobs. We just didn't wanted to deal with such people especially, if we are going to pay a hefty school fees and get insulted. There are better schools out there with highest ranking and they are not only about academics but also about raising good citizens, manners etc. Whoever is reading this review, I hope you will find a school which will fit your/your kids needs/wants. It is very hard to find a well rounded school but it is possible, there are really good schools out there. Unfortunately, Renert wasn't a good fit and we just didn't wanted to "make do". Good luck!

THE RENERT SCHOOL STAFF GIVE EVERYTHING THEY HAVE TO CREATE AN AMAZING PLACE FOR KIDS TO BE AMAZING. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND F THE HATERS WHO HAVE SAID ANYTHING NEGATIVE ON THIS FEED. AS A FORMER EMPLOYEE I CAN TELL U FIRST HAND, THE KIDS ARE GIVEN THE BEST, GET THE BEST, AND IN RETURN, BECOME THE BEST.

The least impressive part of this school is Hagar Renert. Children should not be forced to fit a particular mold that she deems necessary to "fit in" at the school. It it also concerning that children are afraid to talk to her. Will not recommend school for these reasons. School has an air of arrogance.
