Hi, I went to Tempo school for 4years in the 80's,and was pleased to see in is still the same.And the uniforms brought me back to a simpler and fun time in my life.Thank you Tempo for my primary education.

We tried for three years registrations two times for my my son And one for my son and my daughter and they told me they will send me email beginning of May to confirm if they have a spot for them or not and they they didn’t send me anything they are not professional to communicate with the other they’re even in the first time we apply for my my son we they told us he is top of the waiting list and thought I called him back to confirm he going to kindergarten with them and they send me sorry we don’t have any spot for him beginning of June and I I start looking for another school for my son it was so almost late I didn’t advise anyone to school I can’t not give them any stars bad

As a former tempo student, I can say this is the worst possible choice if your child will be attending here after grade 5. The teachers and administration indoctrinate the students by telling them public schools offer " substandard education" and " lack of discipline." This not true but also a pathetic attempt of the staff trying to bad mouth other educational institutions in order to convince their few students to remain in the system. Leaving tempo was the greatest decision I ever made as it got me away from the terrible, spoiled, peers that created so much unnecessary drama throughout junior high. The teachers at public school give students more independence and don't baby their students like in tempo. After leaving tempo my grades went up significantly as the material in public schools are cop-able and is interesting unlike learning types of rocks for 3 months or Latin for 3 years. The new administrations since Dr. Mitchell left, under Mr. Battachio, and later Dr. Michael have ruined the school. They have implaced so many little nitty gritty rules and restrict students. Public Schools have necessary rules implaced but not so many that you get in trouble for staying in hallways after school or going on your phone during break or afterschool.

As a former student, I can say that Tempo has both pros and cons. Cons: -It gives students a particular mindset of superiority, and teaches that every public school has “poor education” and “no discipline.” -Rumours/ gossip spread quickly, being a small school -In lower grades, they did not allow students to use methods other than “the Tempo method.” If we did, then we got in trouble, even if the answer were correct. -They do not teach students the importance of sleep, healthy eating, avoiding smoking/alcohol (and yes, Tempo did have a vaping problem at one point) -It gives students low self-esteem. If a student gets poor grades, often times he/she is not encouraged to try harder, but rather is put more down. -There is no physical education for students in grade 6 and below -Excessive amounts of homework, even for elementary students -It does not provide any mental health support for students, be it for dealing with anxiety, depression, or anything of the like Pros: -Most teachers teach well, especially when it comes to grammar, geography, and basic maths -Having small classes, it creates a friendly atmosphere amongst students -It teaches the traditional way -Most students are well-mannered and fairly decent in school -It creates a sense of community within students

As a former student my parents thought they were doing me right by sending me here. So much is wrong with this school. Any review from a parent is not valid because they didn't attend, rather their kids did. Notice every good review is by a parent talking about the idea of what tempo should be. None have experienced it themselves. As a parent now this would be the last school I'd ever send my kids. Save your money. And your children's sanity. It's not what you think it is.
