I do NOT recommend you to go to this school if you have lots of struggle on homework (told from experience). The amount if homework you are giving depends on the grade your in and the teacher you get. If you are in a higher grade you'll most likely to get more homework that is more challenging to complete.

Been here all my elementary and junior high years. If you want a challenge then go to this school. You get tons and tons of homework and never gives me any free time. You have to study for a lot of tests and some teachers don't follow their homework policy which is to only get homework from Monday to Thursday.

I went here from Gr. 3 (2006) to Gr. 9 (2012) and I miss it still from time to time. When I was there they focused heavily on the academics as well as making French a core subject. The teachers there were strict but fair and were always willing to listen if you had any questions. As for the academics, I remember my math teacher telling me that they were teaching highschool level material and me dismissing it as just talk. However when I went to Highschool (JP) it turned out to be true! The same materials and concepts were even being taught in Grade 11! In addition to the core subjects they offered a small variety of electives, Orchestral and Jazz band, and German. I have heard that it has expanded to include Guitar Class, and percussion, I'm not sure what else they have offered since I left though. Outside of class there was a variety of clubs you could attend from advanced math, to Soccer. Overall I really enjoyed my time at Stratford, it helped me to understand the value of academics and made High School much easier for me. If you are looking for a top quality school Stratford is definitely my number one recommendation. Ps. Sorry to all the teachers I caused trouble for while I was there. Mrs. Vlad, I will always remember you, and Mrs. Kulinska, I know we didn't always get along, but in the end you were my favorite teacher from junior high. :)

It's a great school. I really recommend going to this school for better education. Mrs.Beaudry (The vice principal ) is very commanding. I just want to say Online learning is way better than actually learning in-school in my opinion because when you are at home the teachers have less control over you. I HATE that some students DO NOT FLUSH THE TOILET!!!!! It's Disgusting!!!! I know that this school can get better so I can rate it a 5 star, but so far this school is great.

school was good in my opinion until the new principal came. hired some bad teachers who didnt even know math. school is kind of divided. either smart or "dumb". kids were ok but one kid vaped in the washroom. lots of homework depending on teacher. the vice principal (mrs. beaudry)is horrible. some teachers were nice . kids were ok. kind of glad i left for a better school :)

Just reviewing the playground only - a great playground with some unique features. A lot of spinners here and great shade both for parents and for kids. The wobbly caterpillar and offset monkey bar spinner will be a favourite of your bigger kids. Wood chips and recycled tire means no sand in their shoes. Would definitely visit again.

Almost all the teachers from grade 4-9 are not nice to there students . Some of them also swear at there students . To what i've seen , if you aren't one of the teachers pet's , you will get blamed and yelled at for no reason

It’s not as bad as most people think. I mean at the end of grade 9 you would really see how well you’ve developed. However the homework load is a little excessive and the teachers are strict but it just prepares you better for future studies.

Being in this school all the way from Kindergarten to Grade 9 was a big part of my life. Personally, I think this is a great school with great students and most of the teachers are nice (Some are REALLY strict) Going into high school and starting the ib program I have realized how much Stratford prepared me. I am taking French 20 ib (I got to skip French 10 because of Stratford's French curriculum starting from Grade 1 instead of Grade 4 like most schools) and its a breeze to me thanks to the amazing french I have learned over the years. Not just French but as well as English and especially Social Studies have helped me achieve high marks in high school. I will say the homework is very excessive and some teachers could improve in being more friendly to students but all in all great school if you want your child to be successful in high school and beyond.

This is a great school. Kids are taught Respect, Responsibility, Results. The program is academic, and you can see the results in your kid's ability to research and analyze the materials, articulate their point of view. Great program, excellent teachers. The school could improve on offering more extracurricular activities for children.

This school is terrible,I would not recommend it at all, like where to even begin!!!!! The bus service are the worst the send students home at like 5 or 6 like a child would get so hungry and scared. The teachers are soooo mean unfair and give so much stress and give serious anxiety.SO LIKE LISTEN UP STRATFORD IMPROVE YOU BUS SERVICE AND THE WAY THAT YOU TEACH OR JUST STOP RUNNING THIS SCHOOL CUSE YOU AREN'T FAIR TO STUDENTS!!!!!!!!????

This school was fine in 2015-2017 but in 2019-2020, curtain teachers (like Ms.Tan) gave my brother severe anxiety and bad trauma. The kids may be a problem as well. Nobody does much about bullying I heard. This school needs to work on being more understanding. I also would like to mention that this school also gave my sister high functioning depression. The kids have affected her life and now she always has strong mood swings.
