You have all the information of people like you who are using the products and services of St. John XXIII Edmonton Catholic School (Kindergarten) around Alberta territory (Canada).
At present this business has a score of 2.4 out of 5 and this score is based on 70 reviews.
You may have noticed that it has an average rating is very insufficient, and it's based on a large number of feddbacks, so we can say that the valuation is quite faithful. If there are many people who bothered to leave their feddback when they are satisfied, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to write evaluations when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Kindergarten is included in the category of School.
This can be a better school if there were maybe a little more better and nicer teachers, and fixing the WIFI when this is like 6 million dollars for this school, it may have some more potential since it unfair to junior high students, and some student teacher helpers are helpful but some are mean, Teachers and some staff I like are Mr. O and Mr. Danilak and Mrs. Stevens, also I would like in the future is to fix the internet and to fix other part's of the school like students As well.
The people are so toxic here and mr o is the only best teacher.
its a good school but the teachers are just bad and The weird smells are bad and the only thing good about the school is gym and Mr o, and Mr Dean Danilak and Mr borlie are good but that bathroom is just ugh!!
i like the school but MrO 100 out of 1
This school smells weird and the chicken is drier than the wifi
the WI-FI is doodoo water evn the we have a whole technician! you would get in trouble for the smallest things you would get in trouble like if the teacher saw my review they would suspend me evn when i try to be a good kid sumthin always goes wrong very strict teachers and front desk aren't tht welcoming
AMAZING EDIT:STILL AMAZING
teachers are bad for JH but for elementary there decent
This school is okay the school is clean but otherwise I do not recommend they need WI-FI that works????
The school is a bad, everything good is closed. The wifi is DOG WATER, all the teacher put unnessesary stress on all the students, the only good teacher is Mr Fortin. And finally THERES NO FREAKING LOCKERS!!!! i see why theres vandalism there
they are awesome and they are very caring for the students. they always help the students when they need help!
This schoool has bad teachers
bad internet no one bothers to fix is, teachers ar mean and unfair but some teachers are nice
This school is a good school, but the wifi is just so bad tbh. Some of the teachers are mean, and some are really nice. Like Mr. O, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Stevens, Mrs. Molo, Mme Jennifer, Ms. Stang, and Mr. Borle are the ones that I have met that are kind, caring, and understanding.
it’s cool verr god
This is a good school
Not many field trips for junior high kids except church. And very few extra curricular activities other than band and sports. Teachers aren't the nicest except for a few. The receptionists at the office are kinda rude
cringe
the teacher's are garbage. I DO NOT RECOMAND THIS SCHOOL
I go to this school, honestly, the teachers vary. Everyone else's review depends on the teachers, but they change often. A few of them are some amazing teachers that always prioritize YOU rather than the assignments, some are the opposite. So i wouldn't rate on the teachers, but rather the quality of the school. The foods lab has enough equipment. They have enough instruments for band. The construction lab has the necessary tools to build things. The learning material the school owns is sufficient, so i'd rate it about 4 stars for SEEMINGLY good money decisions. (4 stars not 5 because they're too cheap to buy decent Wi-Fi)
there are some really nice teacher and a great band programs but there should be more sports teams like hockey, curling, baseball golf. there's also a really good construction lab with a really good teacher.
The single star is given to the architecture alone, this is definitely one of the more modern looking schools. But that can all be demolished by the dumpster fire of the staff, the teachers are to extreme for punishments and just flat out annoying. Crazy that high school teachers are dealing with more lose cannons and are still able to do a great job and be fair with the students.
All the teachers just want stuff turned in on time
It's funny that the school worth 4 million dollars. And they can't pay 150 dollars for WiFi but everything fairly good
bad WiFi
As a former student who went to this school, I can understand some of the complaints present on this review page, but I think to like this school you have to look past the small things. Yes, this school has issues. Plenty in fact, as every school does. But I feel like the problems are less important than some people realise, and it's crucial to look at the full picture. For example, some problems are: there are not many extracurricular activities, the lack of filed trips and different events is disappointing, the limited amount of leadership opportunities can be frustrating, the junior high kids feel ignored compared to the elementary and the wifi is bad so it’s hard to work. All these problems seem like game changers, and they somewhat are, but after reflecting on my own experiences at the school, I have realised that thinking of these problems and wishing for more simply takes your mind away from what is good. And what is good, is pretty good. St John is a very positive school with a welcoming environment. The staff are passionate, supportive and fun! The many religious celebrations, while not for everyone, are very wholesome and appreciated. Band and sports teams are a huge highlight and are awesome and incredibly fun. St John is not a bad school, far from it, it just has so much potential to be even better. If you're the complaining kind, then yeah, you're going to be complaining. But if your the kind of person to just step back and appreciate what is going on around you, then I can say this is a good pick. Thumbs up from me!
Listen guys. All I'm gonna say is...squishy rat.
The admission officer only asks questions that are having binary answers. There is no space for a conversation rather having a predetermined responses as NO from her! School board needs to look into correcting her behaviour as this is not an isolated issue
Needs to be less like dark souls.
The school is okay you cant really expect a perfect school, but the fact students don't even have enough textbooks yet we have multiple TVs and basket ball hoops does not make sense. As well as the discipline the year before there were 3 students in my grade who had said the n-word all of them were not black yet still did not get any punishment, but a student who was black said the n-word got a full day suspension. Most teachers are okay that's the only thing I can say.
take time to red the review
im giving a 5 star for mister O
CHILDRENS STOP Rating our SCHOOL BAD!!!!
Great school
I went there on a Sunday so I couldn't see what the inside looks like but the school building is large and has a modern design. The parking lot and driveway looks really clean and cool too.
bro a lot of you guys are saying the teachers are mean, im kinda getting scared now cause i might go to this school bro.
There are better schools and this one is not a good one
This school is a meh, yeah some fun teachers and some rude, some fun options and some boring. The office staff aren't too welcoming to students, they only are nice to parents. The teachers can be strict when you are loud at lunch and the homework given is kinda crazy. There are only a few teachers that are good and one of them is Mr. O, mr. borle, mrs stevens, and a few more. They really need to add vending machines and more options. The wifi is garbage, like, really garbage. During winter, we had an ice hill, but administration closed it because a student bumped his head when we were sliding down it. This is plain meh type of school.. Sorry, but forgot even more issues. This school lacks in field trips for junior high, they used to have fun field trips, but soon changed. Elementary only has fun field trips and i don't complain about elementary since they are younger. The amount of homework teachers give lowered the ratings a lot, i know they really can't control it, but at least cut us some slack, it is causing our stress to go up. UPDATE: I am in grade 8 and have been at this school for 5 years. Still 2 stars. They spent money on a bunch of basketball nets (which i'm grateful for), but cant spend a few bucks on new wifi. The area where the nets were built is fenced and looks bad, there are only to ways to the building doors and they get too crowded. Mr. Borle sadly left to london but congrats to him! Mr. Bondy is fun. Only one field trip happening this year from what i have heard: A museum trip with Mr. O, that's why i like Mr. O, he makes stuff fun! Options are better this year but some teachers are not. Same solid review...
the internet is kinda bad and some nice teachers. but otherwise its a good school and really easy to make friends.
The toes here are kinda crunchy I like the texture but the place deserves 5 stars and I would recommend it, great restaurant.
Bad WiFi. Its amazing the government spends 6 million dollars on the St.John XXIII school every year, but they can't even fix the WiFi. The WiFi goes off and on every minute or second. Very disappointing
Overall 5/5 friendly teacher that are passionate, great students overall a good time
The wifi is so slow i could barley get to google maps
this is my first year and it has been amazing for me. I have new friends and the teachers are awesome/ this is the best school in edmonton
The crack distribution in this school is crazy get the swat team down there
This school was pretty boring overall. The only field trips we took in JH was to go to church...sooo fun. The teachers were mediocre, some better than others. School dances are the worst since they grade you on your dancing, and if you don’t show up they make you perform in front of everyone next gym class. Some of the people that work at the office aren’t the most welcoming.
It’s dookie
The chicken is drier then the Sahara desert
Great school and amazing principals, teachers and staff.
Would give a 0 star if I could. St.John XXIII Edmonton "Catholic" School sent my niece home on Tuesday claiming that she wasn't "registered." She has been at home all week now extremely UPSET and not even allowed to ATTEND school when there is full proof online that she is REGISTERED for this school and has been for MONTHS. My niece now has to transfer to a completely NEW school now during her second week. Absolute FAILURE of an education system and board. Would not recommend sending your children here.
I like the school, I've made lots of friends and lots of people know me here, but my main issue is money management. the school can use $200K to get basketball nets. TV's, sports teams, computers, Chromebooks and iPads but cant even fund for decent WiFi. and not all teachers are welcoming and some just give overwhelming homework's. i know that i'm not the best student, but some teachers just pick on me. For example: last year, me and my friend had to pick up USED paper towels from the ground when we didn't do anything. i'm in grade 8 and I've been here since the school has opened, and almost nothing has changed. there are some non black kids that said the n word and haven't gotten in trouble but 2 black kids said it and they got in trouble. the school doesnt let us take pictures (i get that some people don't want their photo/video taken) but others wanna save memories of their friends before they leave. the councelers like Mrs.Debrusk and Ms. Stang are really welcoming and nice. Some of the teachers too like Mrs. Daigle, Mr. O, Mr.Danilak, Mrs.P, Mr. Bondy and Mr. Borle before he left. The toilets are DISGUSTING, there is pee in and on the toilets, poo in the toilets and i even found PEE ON THE FLOOR I rate this school a 2.5 bc of that.
their moto is be kind, but looks are deceiving, dont send your kid here unless you want them to experience the most mental breakage a kid could have- coming from someone whos been here from the first years since this school started. its clean but students arent disciplined and this is the pinpoint of religious trauma
The chicken is dry ???? ????
Only good teacher straight up disappeared. 0/10. Plus lots of toxic students are here.
I'm rating Mr. O, not the school
