The Nellie Mcclung program at Oliver school is great for young girls going into junior high. The uniforms are great, and the teachers are awesome! There isnt anything to complain about.

i went here from preschool to grade 6. listen to me when i say they put an image to seem nice put in reality they don't care as much as they say they do. the daycare is very nice and honest program the school itself is uninviting cheap and doesn't care much about students. i doubt you should listen to a parent point of view and a students because its a whole different perspective on everything. personally the learning resources are limited and not as offered. dont come at me lmao

i absolutely love this school, everything is amazing. the only thing i dont really like about this place is that some of the students are pretty rude and some of the teachers dont really try to help you if you have a problem but overall everything is great and i recommend it

The Nellie MuClung Program and Oliver Elementary are both in the same building. I am a Grade 8 student in the Nellie MuClung Program and I absolutely love it here. I have learned so much about myself. Nellie has really raised my confidence and made me feel a lot better about myself. Nellie has many opportunities that you will not find at other schools, such as weekly leadership classes, Harry Potter Week, POW (Power Of Women) and trips such as Montreal, Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre and the Royal Tyrrell Museum. This school has made me feel a lot more happy and confident. I would suggest this school to any girl who wants to learn about the world in a interesting way.

Not a very good school. Does not take care of aspects relating to bullying at all. Principal will try to push it on even first grader to prove there was no bullying. Couple of teachers are good. Overall not a great school. Need a lot of improvement to compete with other good schools.

I made great friends in this school that I ended up growing up with im in grade six still but lots of the teachers dont understand the concept of how to teach I was a trouble maker and the staff never new how to sort out problems and it always ended up being my fault

Oliver school and the Nellie McClung program are both together in the same school. I personally go to the Nellie McClung junior high program and it is amazing. I am so glad that I chose Nellie. The uniforms are amazingly comfortable and we have so many options to choose from. I’ve made so many friends and memories. One of my favourite parts is Harry Potter week. We do so many cool and exciting activities. I’m so glad I chose Nellie!!!

My daughter currently attends Nellie and I have nothing but good to say about this school. The teachers challenge the students to get the best out of them and are compassionate to their needs and fully respect them as individuals. There is also a significant amount of responsibility that is expected of the students to not only participate in their classes but in their community as a whole. This not only make them academically better but better citizens of the province and country. This is far more than the standard school that dumps facts and figures on the minds of the students. The students are challenged, expected to be responsible and fully participate in their learning.

Ohhh the memories at this school. I was at this school back in 1990 something until 2003-2004. I'm 27 now. Back in kindergarten they used to have this thing where they would have a bank with fake money and try to teach us about government stuff and expected all the kids to learn about that. Was cool and all but way to young for the children to learn politics. Principle back then was named Karen Linden or something like that. Different times back then I hope they changed the system now lol

I went to this school three years ago and things still haven't changed, the lunch program is pretty pathetic. There are 2 tables to seat 40 kids, and they are in a tight hallway in between 2 bathrooms. And the principle does not care or respect others at all, There where some great teachers and a lot of bad teachers that make you feel like a failure. And there is no funds for the elementary only for the nellies which I think is really wrong. And if you think It is a good school then you were either a Nellie or a parent who did not go to the school. I am helping you out here do not send your kids to this school
