They let Racists get away with being Racist. The staff in 2016 were pretty nice and responsible. But the 2019 Staff were pretty bad. Except for Mrs.Clu and Holliday.

When I went there in the 2012-2013 year most of the teachers were really nice. While the principle (no longer there) and vice principle (no longer there)has a record of saying one thing and then giving a student heck for telling on inappropriate behaviour on the playground. it has changed a bit since i was there in 2013 but through friends that still go there it is a school that does nothing about the bullying. i would maybe suggest a school that is better rated by the staff, students, and parents.

In my opinion this is a great a school with amazing staff all around. Both my kids go to this school and both love it.

I have been a student at Afton for 7 years and I think the best part about it is the music teacher and the mostly friendly staff

I go here and I love my teacher. Slight issues in bullying and other Teachers but I'm ok! I have gone here since kindergarten so six years and no issues!

Bad memories still have a negative impact on me 20 years later. One star for the staff that is probably long gone (baby boomers)

Our grandkids came to live with us when our grand-daughter was about to go into grade 6 and our grandson into grade 1. We could not believe our luck in finding a school like Afton. Our grandson is now in grade 6. Over the years our grandkids attended we were able to assist with science and art days, attend concerts and plays. More than all of that was the incredible commitment of the Afton teachers and their principals. Finding schools where teachers strive for excellence only benefits our young people. Thank you for all the hard work and effort giving our grandkids a great start to their education.
