I had an all around great experience with Fine Redesign. I made 2 phone calls to the office and both people I spoke to were friendly, helpful and informative. The home staging professional Kashmir Dhaliwal, gave us such great guidance on staging our home that we ended up raising our list price by $100K after the first open house and sold for $52K over list 7 days later! The market has been fairly slow so this was an amazing and unexpected outcome. I have to say also that we were working with a very short timeline as we are moving out of the lower mainland. I was really stressed about getting everything done on time and asked Kashmir if I could book an appointment for her to come back and help me do the staging. She said "I could but I don't think you need me". She could easily have booked a time to come back and charged me for a staging package but she was confident I could manage it on my own. I appreciated her honesty and integrity in not encouraging me to book a service I didn't really need. That being said, if I had booked her to come back in and help I would not have regretted it. I still think for the cost it would have been very well worth it. Highly HIGHLY recommend! Thank you again Kashmir and Fine Redesign!

As a realtor I was hesitant at staging as I know it can be costly BUT I decided to go all in for a client who needed it and the results were INCREDIBLE! I had a condo in a building with 6 other units for sale so the competition was fierce. I needed this unit to stand out. And it SO DID from the incredibly tasteful finishings. 48 hours on the market and priced at market value we received 8 offers and the condo went for 40k over asking. My social media blew up, my client was soo happy and so was I. The client said they almost wanted to buy it back it looked so good. 2 days later I had another listing that needed a tweek to the unit to make it stand out. Fantastic job (Aug 2016)! After a bit of a miscommunication, (Which the owner Katie quickly and very professionally resolved), my husband and I hired Fine Redesign to help us prepare our home for sale. Not every having used a stager before, we didn't know what to expect and my husband honestly thought it would be a waste of money. I was blown away (read horrified), by some of the quotes I received from other companies. Most companies wanted us to remove all of our furniture and completely replace it with staging items. I was very disheartened when I spoke with Katie again, and told her what our more modest budget would be. She assured me that they could certainly make our furniture work and add some accessories within our budget to make it fantastic. I was honestly very skeptical because we had just had an absolute nightmare experience with a cabinet company while preparing our home for sale, and was very concerned about the staging. Wow, she wasn't kidding! For literally 1/3 of the price of other quotes, the place looked like a show home. My husband and I certainly packed up much of our clutter, made small repairs and cleaned like fiends, but the staging presentation was absolutely a critical part in selling the house. We got top dollar and sold very quickly, which enabled a quick transition to our new home. My husband was even amazed at how nice our furniture looked with area rugs, throw pillows, and nice but unique lamps etc. He told me that maybe we should purchase some of those items for our new home! Yay, finally he sees the light.....lol. If I was ever moving again, (ugh), I would call Fine Redesign in a second. My friends, neighbours and especially my realtor was amazed, and my realtor said that he would definitely recommend them to other clients. We had over 40 people come to our open house on the first Saturday after staging and the only negative comment that we received was that the glass stove top had a few scratches! I had never worked with an Interior Designer before working with Melissa at Fine Redesign. Melissa was fantastic and put me at ease right away. I was relieved to learn that I could work with an Interior Designer and not have to hand over full control to someone else. Melissa was happy to let us source our own furniture and also work with furniture we already own, but to help us pull it all together. I find spatial relations difficult, and so having help with what size area rugs to get for our new home was a primary goal for me. Melissa came to the rescue and perfected our furniture arrangements. She was very accommodating with build delays and our crazy work schedules. I also really appreciated the way she listened to my husband and I and helped us find ways to meet both our needs - even when at times they seemed contradictory. I would absolutely use Fine Redesign again and recommend this company to others.
