Amalia was very knowledgeable and helped us pick a window and door style that met our needs. **Update Mar 11, 2020** Installation was good but post installation service is very poor. The Foot-bolt on the door is very poor quality and it broke after a couple of months of light use. Looks like it is made of a cheap plastic. Contacted Pella sales rep multiple times for a replacement. It's been over a month and we still don't have it fixed. Feels like they lose interest in you immediately after payment.

The worst customer experience of any company. Made measuring mistakes twice and made us wait from august till now for the windows in the front of the house and the windows are still not here. Followed up many times and only after so many emails do I now have the attention of their management. Their sales rep (Meredith) does not return calls or emails. Would never ever recommend them to anyone.

We had an amazing experience working with Pella! We needed to replace our old back door. Living in a 100+ year old house with all sorts of previous owners' DIY projects layered on top of the next it's not always easy to predict what one will find when you start to peel back the layers. The crew were super professional and didn't leave until the job was done and looking perfect. There was one mix-up with the colour the door was painted compared to the colour of the caping. We didn't notice it until the next morning. We called Pella up, showed them a picture, and they immediately moved to fix the issue. Excellent customer service, excellent installation, and excellent product. I would highly recommend.

It was definitely time to replace our windows. After looking around we decided to go with Pella. Devon spent time with us explaining the different solutions available and in the end we went with a combination for the 15 windows, patio doors and new front door. Installation went well and when we determined we were unable to reuse the existing trim, the guys were quick to find the exact replacement and get it installed. The project started on time and suffered a small delay due to the challenges with removing the old windows and the adding new trim. We were always informed of what was happening and each evening the house was left neat and tidy. I would definitely consider Pella for any future window/door needs we have. Great experience overall.

Repeated cancellations of installation dates, at least 5 times that we can remember. After the door was finally installed, we discovered the mess that the installers left behind. They used our toilet without permission and left skid marks everywhere, even clogging our toilet by flushing down the wet wipes they used. We can tell because they didn't even have the decency to close the top cover back on the wet wipes after using it. Really disappointed with the overall lack of professionalism. Rest assured, this will be the first and last business transaction we will do with Pella.

Entry door that was installed is great. However, we had two screen doors installed and one is not closing properly and when I called for service they are trying to get me to figure out the problem and then said they would send me the parts to have someone install. What kind of warranty is that? After spending quite a bit of money on two screen doors and an entry door left with a door that cannot open and I am supposed to have it diagnosed over the phone and get someone at my expense to fix it. Very bad service for a company that boasts such great service. Now I have to get someones in to fix that door at my expense because they don't deal with it. Think twice and go to someone who will stand by what they say and fix issues that arise after the sale is done!!

I had the displeasure of dealing with Zach from Pella Windows. He came to my home to give me a quote to replace three basement windows and two doors. It's been over one week since he visited my home and has not provided a quote yet. I found him quite unprofessional -- he immediately asked to use my washroom as soon as he came. While this may be acceptable, I found it unacceptable during COVID-19. He wasted over 1.5 hours of my time telling me about how great Pella is yet I do not have a quote. It is a good thing I will not be using this company. I guess I dodged a bullet.

Pella's rep, Dean Carvey came to the house, explained all the features and benefits, and made recommendations on replacements, finishes and blinds etc. From our first meeting, to the final installation, we found both Dean and the 2 installers to be very knowledgeable and professional. They made every effort to answer all our questions, to minimize any inconvenience and after the installation, Dean followed up with us. Ordered a wood framed sliding door with built-in blinds and a roll-away screen. The whole process went very smooth from selection to installation. Dean from sales was very good during his onsite visit. After years of living with a warped builder-grade door, this slider is like the Cadillac of sliding doors. I’m pleased with the whole transaction. Be aware, this didn’t come cheap. Some people tell me they paid half what I paid for their (non-Pella) sliding door, but I do believe you get what you pay for. Keeping my fingers crossed that there are no issues in the long run.

We've just had the BEST EXPERIENCE EVER with a service call! We had just built a new home and there were a number of things on our "deficiencies list" that had to be done. As anyone knows, during 2020, it's been nearly impossible to get the large things done, let alone numerous small jobs! We had been waiting for months to get our large back sliding door fixed. It was going to be a pain because the house had settled and the screen doors wouldn't close. This would entail, ripping out the mouldings; a lot of sawing of door frames; putting everything back together again; then, getting the painter to come back again. We also had several door locksets and hinges to be replaced; and special self-closing hinges to be adjusted. Pella sent us PETER and he was amazing! When he was done with the sliding door, there was only a slight bit of drywall for the painter to repair and paint - the frames looked like they had never been removed (... and I was worried it would be a mess, after a master trim guy had done such a perfect job!). He even vacuumed! PETER was only supposed to do the sliding door, but when he was done, he spoke to his boss about the other things, then proceeded to do everything else that he could do on our list. At one point, when he didn't have a part he needed, HE MADE ONE! Through all of this, not once did he complain about how it couldn't be done or that someone else would have to come out for whatever. PETER left when the job was done to our satisfaction. We have one more job that needs doing, but the parts were not on site. When they come in, PLEASE SEND US PETER!

We are currently going through a full home renovation, replacing all windows and doors and adding 10 & 12 foot sliding doors across the back of our home. From the first meeting with our sales consultant I can’t express how wonderful the experience was. Robert Baker was our consultant and he was incredibly knowledgeable on all products, explaining the difference between all of our options at a level I would understand, having never purchased new windows or doors before! As it was a large investment he made sure to give me all options and had no problem revising quotes when we asked for some adjustments. He got back to us quickly and everything arrived exactly when they were supposed to. He made sure he was in contact with our contractors to ensure everyone was on the same page. I want to thank Robert for making everything so seamless. Going through a Reno is stressful but when you deal with people like Robert it makes things a lot easier!!!

Haven’t even had the windows for a full 6 months before we noticed gaps and issues with installation from the outside. Pella still hasn’t resolved issue. We should of never went with pella or installed in the winter. They told us installation in the winter was no problem but clearly it was.

Our entire home is Pella windows. However, very unhappy with service after installation from the Oakville location. We had an issue with one window, and they sent service to replace the window. Once here, he realized that they had the wrong window frame, that he would install the incorrect one, but replace with the proper frame. Installer was great. After not hearing from them almost a year later, I called to enquire on follow-up. The person in customer service was very rude, I found it frustrating. I would not return to this location.

We bought an old home that had the original windows in it. Meredith came in and made suggestions that no other contractor had suggested. She was courteous and kind and very easy to talk to. She didn't try and up sell me and she gave us the best bang for our buck. We had a few issues when installed (one window didnt arrive) and Meredith was on top of it as soon as I informed her. When we realized that some of our windows were showing irreparable signs of aging, we began an extensive project of comparison shopping. Retailers of vinyl windows typically warned us that we'd find wood windows (like those originally installed) way too expensive. However, this Pella showroom had exactly the kind of low-profile wood frame we were hoping to find, and in the end, various discounts made the project financially manageable. In particular Pella offered escalating discounts for multiple windows, so we ended up replacing 23 windows, most of which were fairly large. We were treated courteously by the sales consultant, Devon. When he came to our house, there was no "hard sell". He patiently made sure we were well informed, and thoughtfully suggested alternatives that he (correctly) guessed might appeal to us. A few days later, another representative — Derek, also friendly and professional — arrived to double-check and verify Devon's measurements. The windows that were finally installed are beautiful, quality products. We have no disappointments or second thoughts about our choice to go with Pella. But, of course, wood windows are only as good as their installation, and it is here that our experience was most satisfying. We were thoroughly impressed by the excellent installers assigned to our job: Ted and his assistant Roman. They were friendly and 100% professional: working steadily (8 days on site, usually 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.), consistently showing respect for our privacy and our property. When there were choices to be made about installation details, they always made sure to explain what was happening, and to accommodate our preferences. This team set the highest standards for themselves and would let nothing second-rate slip by. Ted and Roman are probably the very best service/installation workers we've ever had in our home, and we would happily recommend them to others needing this kind of work. Many thanks to Devon, Derek, Ted, and Roman for this happy and successful project.

Called Pella to come and give me a quote, they sent me 3 emails confirming the appointment which was on Saturday morning. Saturday came and went, Sunday came and went, then Monday I get an email from Andrew, the sales manager, saying he hoped all my questions were answered in the appointment. He also sent me a text saying thanking me for meeting up with their representative and that it’s his job to “make sure every Pella client has an excellent experience”. I replied to both the email and the text explaining no one came, and no response! I had to rearrange my whole day on Saturday for this appointment and this guy doesn’t even have the decency to reply to me. Don’t bother with these folks. If they treat new clients like this I can only image how poor their warranties must be. UPDATE: Absolutely do NOT even contact them. I’m not getting phone calls from them about once a week asking me how my appointment was! I regret giving them my phone number, this is harassment.

Stay away from Pella! Once they lock in your order, with their smooth sales pitch, service goes downhill quickly! You think that you are willing to pay more because of their reputation. Warning - they DON'T make their own doors and they hire sub-contractors to install. So what are you really getting for their higher price? An expensive headache. They use multiple low-grade contractors, no one wears a mask, the actual work is sub-optimum ( a child could do a better door caulking our new doors). We had to have them come back 5 times to finish the entire job (was over $20K so it was a large job) Never saw the same crew twice. And try to reach them by phone. Good luck. They are a company banking on their past reputation. They are not a manufacturer or an installer - all hired contractors. SO you dont get a Pella product or Pella employees to install. Their sales process is wonderful and they make you feel like you are the most important customer to them. Once you sign, the sales people disappear and wont even return phone calls. Just a warning. Do your homework. The aggravation is not worth the high price you pay to use Pella.

Considering the windows were three floors up, have plants and trees below the windows, the crew did a great job of installing the windows without damaging any of the plants. I moved into my new house and all the windows needed replacing. I work a lot and needed after hour appointments. Dean, the Pella sales rep, was great and very accomodating. I booked my appointment online, he called and emailed to confirm, showed up ontime and knew his products very well. We had everything picked out within the hour. I had California Shutters that had to be taken off and replaced. This was a problem for other companies, but was a service Pella provided. I have beautiful windows now. They came to measure after the sales appointment and the installers were very polite. They left the house spotless. Dean called after to make sure everything went smoothly and to make sure I was satisfied with the results. Overall, Pella is an excellent product with an excellent staff. We got both front and back doors done by Pella, and a big job of converting our 2 side by side kitchen windows into 1, and raise it up quite a bit to make room for the new sink we'll be having installed. Wayne and Wayne (yes both workers were named Wanye!) were great!! They spent about two days at our place getting things done. Hardworking and did a great job. Unfortunately the hardware company that we purchased our specialty hardware from messed up (definitely NOT associated with Pella) and some of our hardware couldn't be installed on the day of our door installation. When that company corrected its error and sent us what we needed, Pella sent an installer at no additional cost to install the hardware for us - his name was Jeremy and he was fantastic. Even came by after sitting in traffic for hours, on a friday, after his day was done. Can't recommend Pella enough - just really great people who care about the work they put out. Thank you so much for everything!!!

I’ve been replacing my 25-year-old, rotted wood windows with Pella in phases over the last couple of years. Now we’re on the final phase and everything has gone great. We contacted Pella Windows to get an estimate on having two windows replaced. Devon Watson came to the house and did a professional presentation on their product. We decided to go with Pella after speaking with Devon. When it come for installation the installers were very professional. They put down drop cloths to protect our hardwood floors. Any mess they made before they left. They also made sure that we new how our new windows operated before they departed. During installation Devon also showed up at our home to make sure everything was going to our satisfaction. He has also stayed in touch afterwards to make sure that there are no problems.
