What a tremendous disappointment. We sought out Cam Thomson because he and his late father originally designed and decorated our home. We so valued the original incredible quality and workmanship, and wanted to maintain the home's architectural and design integrity, while modernizing the finishes. After making our travertine tile choice, they informed us the actual price of materials was 30% higher. We trusted them, so we paid way more for the tile materials- all up front. During the tile installation, by Red River, we had major concerns. Instead of Cam Thomson or Cody Thomson handling the subcontractors, we had to. Ultimately, Cody advised we better "pre-pay" for the labor or the tile contractor would refuse to finish the job. Cody was clearly more concerned about her relationship with tile contractor than to us, as her clients. During this same process, Cam changed the wood flooring design we had approved, which was designed to specifically echo the original design. The flooring contractor complained the design was too complicated with a tile inlay. Within months of the travertine tile install, holes in the travertine appeared, some completely through the tile to the foundation. Ultimately, the flooring contractors were fired, as well as Thomson & Thomson. I attempted to reach both Cam and Cody regarding the deteriorating tile, and received no response. Horrible service, horrible experience. **I assure you I am not reviewing the wrong design firm**

What an incredible experience it has been to work with the Thomson family- father, daughter, and son- all bringing their design strengths to the table for our project. I feel uniquely qualified to recommend them because our project is large enough that I have seen them in multiple design situations - our family room was completely reimagined to suit our needs as well as be true to the architecture and time period of our historic home. Our dining room was not only redecorated but was closely restored to the original plans with updated and upgraded lighting and electrical. My husband’s office had great bones but needed furniture selection and a design refresh. The Thomson and Thomson team added exactly what we needed but never could have achieved on our own. They were masters of using existing pieces we already had and mixing them with new items, as evident in large pieces, small pieces and even art. We have several other rooms to work together on in the future- some needing complete reimagining and others needing furniture selection and paint refreshment. I feel confident in them handling all of it. I always loved how I was able to bring them my ideas and inspiration, our wants and needs, even our budget constraints and know that the project would exceed my expectations. They are incredible and throughout the months-long process, my husband and I would remark to one another that we certainly made the right choice in hiring this team. If you have design needs where quality, professionalism and experience matter, I would most definitely recommend Thomson and Thomson.

My family and I hired Thomson and Thomson to remodel our living room, kitchen and bathroom in Oklahoma City. They went above and beyond our expectations. They understand that in these fields the level of mutual trust is important to get the product that you want. During our consults both of them made us feel confident and heard during the process through their professionalism, preparedness, experience, and taste.
