I wish we could give more than 5 stars!! We were anxious, undecided and uneducated, until Kelly picked up the phone. She answered every question and came up with solutions as if we were the only customers in the world (although it was a busy Saturday). When we came in person, she was excited about our project like it was her own, and got right on board helping us get the exact (difficult!) colour we were aiming for. We are THRILLED with the results, even though we’ve only done a few boards. The cabin is going to look fantastic!! I’ll come back and post pics when it’s done. Thanks Kelly!!!!!

We love this paint store. My husband and I, and infact our whole family, really enjoy the excellent service we receive here. The staff and owners try really hard to make sure customers are satisfied, and you can tell they really care about how your project turns out. Years ago we ran into a situation where one of the products we purchased was defective - they bent over backwards to make sure the situation was resolved and that we were happy. I can't account for the experience for the other gentleman here - just that perhaps the person he spoke with was not one of the regular staff/managers or family members that work there. We have nothing but good things to say about this store :)

At this location I seem to feel like I am disturbing someone's time. This is my 3rd visit. The last time the person kept telling me that's really expensive you may want something different after each choice. What is this about? Do I need to dress a certain way to shop here? Also I called in to ask if paint can be made from rgb colours. I got 8 colours together. Went in and was told that this is not possible.the person seemed to be really annoyed with me. It was waste of my time. I was frustrated and I won't be back. I have the opposite experience at the long lake location. Is it staff training that's lacking on barrydowne?

I reserved (or so they lead me to believe) a paint sprayer to prime my 4000 sq foot new build home. I arranged for a babysitter all day for my 3 small kids. Upon arrival this morning to pick up my rental, there was not even one available and it didn't seem they even cared. I had budgeted $3000 in paint and supplies and $7000 for window treatments. That is the revenue within one month you would have made until your snarky attitude with me this morning. Not even an offer to call when it comes in. Nothing other than an offer to try a competitor out. Thanks for nothing. On the plus side, I will have nice shoulders when this is all done all thanks to you !

I was simply amazed! I brought in a tiny little sample of a colour I wanted matched. It was a mistint that I bought at the Barrydowne store several years earlier. Vanessa at the Long Lake store, told me it too small to put in the machine to match. She pulled out her colour chart and matched the colour perfectly....by eye!!! Thank you Vanessa!! (And Barrydowne Paint) ????????

15 Star Review! What a wonderful experience using the Live Chat feature on the Barrydowne Paint website. Normally these features are lengthy, impersonal and unhelpful. This was efficient, personable and extremely useful. I was able to go over two different projects in detail, and they supplied me with step by step instructions, welcomed personal opinions, and tips to ensure my ventures are a success. I wanted to say that I had an absolutely amazing experience with Kelly from Barrydowne paint! I contacted them through their online messaging system and we were able to do everything. I provided a couple of pictures of what I wanted and she sent me multiple colours that matched what I was looking for. We even talked about the transition of colours to ensure they would match. Kudos to them! It took less then 20mins from choosing colours for multiple rooms, paint brushes etc.
