I have worked with other window dealers/suppliers in the past as well and without question the team at Durabuilt provides a superior level of customer service. Most recently I provided Danny my construction plan and he methodically went though them to provide the best solutions/options to fit the design. Its very nice and appreciated when a vendor takes the time to ensure your needs and plan adjustments are addressed promptly. This is something I found other window/door manufacturers are simply not willing to do OR they defer to the dealer... this creates unnecessary delays, communication gaps, and frustration. Would NOT recommend. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Was given the run around for 6 weeks, kept being told I’d receive a call back on a certain day and of course that never happened. Warranty was coming up so I guarantee they were “forgetting” to call for that reason. Finally after being ignored for days they answered my call and said “oh sorry we’ve had the glass all along just didn’t know because the paper work was lost”... I’m sure. Scheduled a day to come replace it. Got a phone call the day of the appointment saying they might be coming they might not be coming as technicians car broke down and they would let me know in an hour. Hour came, no call. Surprise surprise. So I called and they said yes the tech would be here in 30-40 minutes. 40 mins, nothing. One hour, nothing. Hour and a half, nothing. Finally I got a call saying the glass was damaged when moved from one van to another and the glass will have to be reordered. So “I’ll hear from them in a few weeks”. Don’t hold your breath. Awful service.

Absolutely terrible. Windows won’t last 10 years without failing. Replacement windows come in the wrong size, scratched, wrong glass, etc. Avoid!

Danny Serrano the account manager in Saskatoon is exceptionally helpful to walk me through the window and door selection process with good recommendations. I have requested a few quotes from different suppliers but have not met anyone like Danny who would like to put time and effort to listen and understand what I am really looking for and what my limitations are. He is very honest and professional to make recommendations he thinks the best for the home. I just ordered my windows and doors from Durabuilt Saskatoon. My experience with Daniel at the Saskatoon store was extremely remarkable! I was a walk in client who needed a lot of guidance in picking out the windows for our cabin. He had great suggestions and ideas on what sizes and style I might like. He is a friendly and knowledgeable salesman and dropped his days work to work with me. Daniel spent a few hours helping me design our cabin windows without arranging and appointment. It didn’t take days or weeks for follow up calls to get a quote, he provided me with a quote in under 30 minutes. We then sat down and went through the quote page by page. Delivery to the town closest to our lake was arranged within a 6 week time frame. Windows should be delivered in the next 2 weeks, so I will continue my review after installation. Thanks Daniel for the awesome friendly service. I would definitely recommend your service.

I purchased a new house to hopefully avoid most repair issues for the foreseeable future. However, I had to replace 9 Windows after 4 years due to broken seals (my labour cost). Furthermore, the company denied any responsibility for my warped door & problems with window & door drafts. My suggestion is to check Durabuilt's reviews before you purchase windows or doors to understand the company your dealing with. Very poor company!

From the moment I walked in to delivery the people there were fantastic. They took me seriously and treated me like an important customer. I had a very very big and intricate order and they listened and followed all my design needs. The quality is absolutely superb! I had options to chose other windows and looked at several but these were definitely the best of them all for quality/price/service. I loved the black vinyl clad and how it reflects heat which is awesome since it will ensure flies will not stick to the dark windows like other aluminum clad. I also liked the option of dual colour for grills. We have black exterior and white interior grills. They are absolutely gorgeous. I am so happy with my decision to go with Durabuilt over any other window company. We had one window cracked on delivery and they replaced it no questions asked. I highly recommend these guys.

I built a new home in Medicine Hat and had Durabuilt Windows installed. I was assured they were an upgrade and the front door was very expensive. My problem is the install or the seals as I have a lot of condensation on the windows and frost a half inch thick inside the front door...in the winter...it is ruining my hardwood floors. They put new weather stripping on the door but that didn't help. I am wondering if the front door was warped. Unfortunately, i have never had issues like these with any of my houses in Medicine Hat or Calgary so feel that the Windows are the problem...sorry Durabuilt.

Approximately two years ago we had all our windows replaced in our home. Within 1 1/2 years we had a pane in one of these triple paned windows crack. A visit to the Durabilt office in Saskatoon and a discussion with the gentlemen at the front desk led to an assurance that all would be looked after. Speaking to the Service Manager brought another conversation! He said that the window was not warrantied as it was more than 1 year old. There was nothing that could be done. He said he would look into it. The following day I received an email saying they would replace the window for close to 500.00. I called and explained that there had to be some responsibility that Durabilt would assume for this "pressure crack". He could not explain why it had happened, but would see what he could do. Over 2 months later and I have not heard from him. I am sure when I approach him tomorrow he will not remember the conversation. Frustrated ? Yes! Satisfied? No! Only reason it was not 1 star rating was the service for them coming to adjust a patio door. I am prepared to advise friends and neighbors to steer clear.

If You want to be ignored and misled about service issues this is the place to buy. They installed patio doors in a new house in Regina. The glass is scratched and the doors don’t quite close properly. They advised they would replace the glass and adjust the doors but have never shown up to do either. Several phone calls have been ignored and even when you do reach them they don’t get back to you when they say they will.

I deal with them in Saskatoon, SK just recently and because of their sale persons, I escaped my other projects out of that company to their competitors and we happy now.
