I had a whole house to design: remodeling from floor to ceiling. For someone who has never done more than order chain-store sofas, this was a daunting assignment. Lauren went far beyond my expectations, not only in designing every inch of my new home, but in managing the entire project and keeping my anxiety in check, no small achievement in itself. In the first weeks, LJ Design Co.took measurements of everything and started visualizing the project right away. Simultaneously, she got a thorough sense of both my design aesthetic and budget, and in a matter of weeks, provided options for wall removal with layouts, cabinets, paint and fixtures. And soon after that, she presented me with the house design for the renovation with 3D rendering, so I could see the exact changes to the floor plan, including light and receptacle placement, tile and stone layout. She also provided a wide array of selection possibilities for every room, from lighting, plumbing fixtures, to chairs. And she included budget items, too, so I could best decide how to most efficiently spend my money. Considering all the great work Lauren did, and how smoothly she did it, it seemed like I’d hired a much larger company. LJ Design Co is either amazingly efficient or she somehow adapted to surviving on two hours sleep a night. The bottom line, of course, is my home, which is the manifestation of everything I could’ve possibly desired. Each room feels comfortable and organic. LJ Design Co. not only saved me an incredible amount of time, she designed a home more attractive and stylish than I could have imagined. Lauren is both extremely talented and diligent, and I’m forever grateful to her.
