Never been in this store in my life but had a terrible run in with them. I parked in the winners parking lot and as always made sure there was adequate space between me and the other cars so I can get out of my vehicle and they can get in theirs. I was in between the lines. Came back later to a Ford F150, with their store logo parked next to my car, over the lines. It was too close for me to get into my car and I'm quite thin so that should give an idea of how close they were. Had to climb into my car from the other side then thought I should check to make sure they haven't put a dent in my door. Climbed out to check and guess what I find? A scratch across the driver side door of my brand new, $40,000 car. It should be common sense that you don't park close enough to another car that you can't even get out. Maybe you should offer your employees some driving lessons when you hire them.

This is my second project with Red Deer Carpet Colour One and this one also turned out perfect. I had to select new flooring, new tile for the front entrance and backsplash for a large kitchen renovation. It all started with Cindy who is such a talented designer. She spent hours helping us select the right combination of product and colours. Her design choices were so perfect and we couldn’t have done it without her. Thank you Cindy! We had two different installers, one for the tile and one for the flooring and both installers were great and the quality of the install was high! Looks and feels amazing. On my previous project I had carpet installed throughout the house (Cindy helped us pick the carpet too) and it was time to steam clean after construction. Matt from this same company came out and I was also so pleased with this job. I had some challenging areas to get clean because of the construction and Matt took the time to do this job right. They only sell 1 type of underlay there apparently! Lady seemed that she really didn't want to help us at all. In response to your answer, the lady was very professional, she failed to listen to what we wanted unfortunately. The underlay we were looking for does not have to be vehicle specific, just wanted underlay that is waterproof, soundproof and 8-11mm thick. We are doing a van project and are doing something different, also needed carpet. I didn't realize that your underlay and carpet are only used for buildings.

All I have to say is if they are working on your insurance claim do your home work cause they have 0 shame in trying to screw the client. I would have rated them a 0 if that was an option. Terrible is all I can say. We moved into a brand new home, the flooring put in by this company turned yellow. The ripped up my linoleum in sections creating more seams and took up my pro board for testing but could never get it flush again. I surprised visit them when they were fixing my floor and I found them tearing up a section I specifically asked them to call me about before touching. I spoke to Andrew (owner) for nearly 9 months to have him agree to replace my floor. He offered me only builder price as a credit but going to charge me customer pricing on a new floor...what happened to their “beautiful guarantee” they so proudly advertise. Well I don’t love it, they patched my new floor and made it uneven. Go with these guys if you want to fight constantly if something should go wrong.

We are starting to think about re-carpeting our basement. We read the reviews online and though this would be a good starting point. Walked into the store at 1:30pm on a Saturday. We were there for over 20 minutes browsing and really not having any idea what we were looking at. We saw multiple salespeople in conversation with other customers - did not receive a glance or acknowledgement of any sort. I even knocked over a carpet stand (accidentally, nothing was damaged & we put it all back together - definitely not an awesome display, was not sturdy and tipped very easily) and still didn't receive any sort of acknowledgement. Was super disappointed - I understand being busy & dealing with customers. If someone had even made eye contact, or said 'hello - I'll be with you in a few minutes' - anything at all would have been better than what we experienced. Looks like a nice store, the reviews of the store are excellent, my recommendation would be to make an appointment? I'm not sure if they do that? Stopping by on a Saturday afternoon though - not worth it.

Erasmo even took the time to fix a carpet issue I had in my bedroom closet free of charge. Erasmo and Bob arrived at my house on time, were super friendly and when they were finished with the installation, they left my basement sparkling clean!

The carpets were trashed and we thought they needed replacing, but Matt was able to restore the carpets to look almost new. We should be able to get a few more years out the carpet now. I'm a construction & operations manager for a local multi-family builder, and I've chosen to use Carpet Colour Centre for the vast majority of our projects for over two decades now. We've always been impressed with their quality, professional attitude, fairness, selection and design staff. As a builder they are a wonderful business partner, particularly in regards to service and warranty. Recently I decided to personally utilize their services do some flooring replacement in my own home, removing the ceramic tile in our kitchen and replacing it with glue down luxury vinyl plank to match the rest of our main floor. To be honest, I was dreading the entire process. I had heard of and watched online videos of the nightmares associated with trying to remove ceramic tile and mortar from plywood subfloor in a lived-in home. It almost scared me out of going through with it, but ultimately my wife and I decided that we REALLY wanted to change that floor, regardless of the cost and hassle. I was expecting the tile removal and floor prep to take at least a few days (we were also having some sheet vinyl replaced in the bathrooms) and that our entire home and it's contents would be covered in a layer of thick ceramic & mortar dust. I was pleasantly surprised when the flooring technician they sent came well prepared and experienced with a task of this magnitude, and managed to not only remove and haul away all the tile in one morning, but also remove all the mortar and prep the floor for the LVP the same day. AND most importantly, due to the process and tools he used, he managed to restrain the mess for the most part to just the kitchen. Since we had pro-actively emptied the counters, removed the appliances, etc, the clean up that evening was minimal and took just a few hours. The next day that same installer (Dave) and his assistant (Christian) were able to install all of the luxury vinyl plank in the kitchen, bathroom, as well as make a few repairs to damage on our existing floors, and when they left, they took all of their waste, tools, etc and they even turned down my offer of a cold after-work beverage. Dave was particularly helpful in offering me tips as I was preparing to replace our hardwood stairs with the LVP myself over the winter, which I thought went above and beyond what was called for. This was my first personal experience using them for a whole home reno project, although I had used them to supply us materials on numerous occasions. I feel extremely confident recommending them for any type of home renovation project as a homeowner, as well as for any new home build as a home builder.
