This was the second time we had used Central Alberta Flooring for our flooring renovations; first time was replacing linoleum in the kitchen and upstairs bathrooms and second time two years later replacing the upstairs carpet with laminate. Thoroughly impressed with both experiences from the moment we walked through the doors! Greeted with knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff who quickly narrowed down what we wanted out of our flooring ( 70 lb dog with sharp claws + kids) while updating the house's look. Their installers were very proficient at their trade; getting the angles, lines and transitions correct plus prepping the floors while proper substrate. Thanks again Gerry, Michael and staff!! Love our floors! Will definitely use this company for our stairs and downstairs.

"Previously posted under Kenneth Walsh. Looks like our son changed the username." This is a follow up on a previous review regarding our issues with noisy flooring. Even when our cat walks on it, the flooring makes cracking noises and is extremely annoying. The flooring company is blaming humidity issues, but they have not performed a humidity check and this is purely hearsay. Alberta is prone to humidity changes and quality flooring should hold up to it. We do appreciate that they did come in to try and alleviate a pinch point and we really appreciate the effort, but our flooring is still making cracking noises in multiple places, all on the end joints where it doesn't 'lock' together. Central Alberta Flooring also confirmed to me that they did NOT use 100% Silicone adhesive in and around high humidity areas such as the dishwasher, as per Armstrong Flooring's instructions for installation. If humidity was a concern for this flooring, then it would have been installed correctly using the correct adhesive. Basically, we are left with very noisy flooring as the installer/retailer are blaming the customer, the manufacturer is blaming the installer/retailer and the customer doesn't want to blame anyone and just wants the flooring fixed, whether it's a manufacturing flaw or improper installation. Very frustrating.

Just had carpet installed in my basement and stairs. Love it! The entire process went smoothly from ordering to installation. Zak the installer was excellent, professional, and friendly. I got a couple other quotes and CAF was right in line but with better quality and their new show room is stunning. I'm very happy with the results!

Went there looking for vinyl tile glue as golden flooring was closed. I told Michael Dowler my situation, he told me they don't sell it but had some from a leftover job. I asked him what he wanted for it and he shook my hand and said that's all I need. Apparently there is still hope for humanity.

I highly recommend Krysta if you're looking for new flooring! She is extremely knowledgable about flooring & decor and excellent with color!~She ordered in multiple samples for me when I was struggling to choose a carpet color and even made a couple housecalls to give me her expert opinion! I can't recommend her enough!! And Ben, our installer was also top notch! He was always on time, worked hard and took great care and attention to detail. Our new carpet looks beautiful and we are so thankful for CAF and their team of experts!

They can plan as much or as little of your reno as you like. We just did our kitchen, and Shirley was awesome throughout the entire renovation, providing advice and industry knowledge (and a keen eye for details).

We were very pleased with how we were treated from the moment we entered their store and spoke with Michael to the time the carpet was installed. We were in somewhat of a panic for the carpet because our master B.R. was just repainted and so all our furniture was in the living room. They adjusted their schedule to have it done as soon as possible. The price was good and we loved the result.

I had a short timeline of getting our coffee room at work done to comply with OH&S regulations - Once we were to the flooring stage, I called Central Alberta Flooring and expected a huge wait time, but I was able to explain my circumstances. Within a couple days the owner came out and measured the space, took down my details, asked AND made recommendations about flooring to use. A week later, the installer came and did a spectacular job and very quickly. Honestly, I do all my own work at my personal residence because I am capable and it saves me money - but if i ever needed a place to do work for me personally, I would call Central Alberta Flooring. They know what they are doing and they are excellent at what they do. Thank you CAF - you helped me meet my deadline and you did a wonderful job!!

Love Central Alberta Flooring!! From the very beginning of our bathroom renovation, Michael was awesome! He did the design work and gave me ideas on tile styles and different colour schemes. Once we had everything picked out, installation was booked within a week. They delivered all the materials the day before so the installer had everything here, ready to go. Isaac (installer) showed up on time, was extremely polite and he took the time to explain to me what he was going to do and asked me if I had any questions. The bathroom tile looks absolutely amazing!! Michael did a great job giving me options and helping me pick the right tile. Isaac was professional and he did a fantastic job - the care he put into making sure the job was done right is impressive. Price and selection was good. Unfortunately our flooring wasn't installed as per manufacturers recommendations and now it squeaks and cracks when walked on. It's extremely annoying.
