Very disappointed. My elderly parents bought a leather love seat and couch. The loveseat showed up and it's not the colour they wanted. The store lost the order for the couch. Many weeks went by, then they finally found it. By that time, my parents said don't bother. Now the store will not take back the loveseat. You only get 7 days to return, pay a 25% restocking fee!!! AND only get store credit. My parents are on a fixed income, splurged and bought $3500 of new furniture for themselves. Now they are out $1500 plus tax, plus delivery for a loveseat they don't want.

The comments here are correct! This store has a beautiful and unique selection of furniture, lighting and decor at various price points. The staff are very knowledgeable, use them to brainstorm! They were essential in finding the perfect cozy fit for my living room and they didn't pressure me in the slightest to buy.

Just moved to Quinte from the GTA and we are committed to buying local so we went to Bennett's for a much needed new couch, we picked out a $3000 sectional and put an $800 deposit down and was told it would be 6-8 weeks, only to get home to an email stating the fabric for the throw pillows was out of stock and the couch will now take 8-12 weeks! I would have never bought from Bennett's had I have known this couch was going to take 3 months! I feel like I was misled at the beginning of this purchase to believe the couch would be 6-8 weeks when it was really going to be 3 months, all because of throw pillow fabric! The sectional was purchased Sept 4 and it is October 9 and it will be couple more months until this Canadian made couch is ready. This will be a reminder that buying local is not all it's cracked up to be. We are having a custom solid wood mantle made from Chisholm's lumber (local in Quinte)and it will take a month, a month(!) for a custom piece that we picked out of a wood pile yet this couch will take 3 months from a Canadian factory. Ugh what a mistake this was! This couch better be the best couch ever produced is all I can say, if and when I ever see it.

Went looking for a carpet at Bennett’s in Campbellford, Ken was very knowledgeable and helpful. Felt no pressure to buy anything but did end up purchasing a great area rug. A couple weeks later I received a Thank you card in the mail from Ken. Excellent customer service!

Great selection of home furnishings. Moderate to expensive, but stock is of excellent quality. Staff is very attentive and helpful. They will let you look on your own until you require any help. They are knowledgeable about their products and service what they sell. I would have given 5 stars except they didn't respond to my email. A phone call did get a very prompt and completely satisfactory response . It was a pleasure dealing with Bennett's again. They are sure to see me again!

I must comment on the excellent customer service. Mike Seguire worked to find a refrigerator replacement for me during a pandemic. Everything was done over the phone and his communication was superb. The delivery was seamless and the delivery crew were friendly, professional and respectful. I will be returning.

I spent over 2hrs picking out furniture only to find out 2 days later by going back to the store as i couldnt get a return call from the salesgirl dealing with me, that the island i choose was sold on me the very next day without even being told. It was very disheartening and just plain bad business. They lost my business forever and anyone in my family will save the money and go elsewhere.

We ordered a new upright freezer and, it was delivered today. Unfortunately, the compressor failed upon plugging it in. The delivery guys immediately called the warehouse and were told they had one more available. They drove back immediately and collected the replacement, then returned within the hour to make it right. Now that is service. Thanks, Bennett's!

First of all I want to say that all 3 stores are amazing! The one in Cambellford is huge, you would not know from the outside. Coming from the outskirts of Toronto their selection of furniture is worth going to visit. We purchased 3 furniture pieces & the employees & receptionists are the best!! One in particular was Brittany from the Campbellford store who went above & beyond. We just bought our 4th item our kitchen set & she fought hard for the best price & thanks to the owners Eric & Marlaine they made it happen & they got our business once again. The movers are so professional & everything was delivered perfectly. I honestly can not say anything negative about Bennett's Furniture store.????
