The store was clean but cluttered. There were 2 aisles closed and the bathrooms were out-of-order. The aisles are short so items normally found together in other stores may be difficult to locate. A few of the items I was looking for were out-of-stock, of course. However, the staff is very friendly and courteous, and they seem to know what they're talking about.

At this Home Depot, the staff are incredibly friendly, and always go out of their way to help me. It never takes long to find someone available if you need help finding something or making a decision about the right product. I have had a staff go out of their way to help me put together a large order from numerous departments, and ensure all of my purchases were shipped and delivered to me, together. I find the store is always clean and well organized, and my dogs are always made to feel welcome when I bring them in with me. It is always a pleasure to shop at the Parry Sound Home Depot.

We are a 60 something couple from Ontario, who are renovating our new home here. A couple of days ago we were in Home Depot with a massive list of plumbing and electrical supplies. We must have looked as confused as we were, and happily were rescued by Kevin in plumbing and Darryl from electrical supplies. Those two gentlemen had our cart full of everything we needed in a matter of minutes. We were sure we were going to be hours. We done Home Depot.

This HD is in parry sound. Great staff. Jimmy at the lumber desk was very helpful and very cherful. Lumber yard lady was great to deal with, especially since there were many trucks there with trailers. I plan on returning to this location for the remainder of my project wood.

Rented a van here to haul all the wood I bought. Great service on the rental, Jimmy was great. So much better than those car/truck rental companies. This was simple, available by the hour. Only downside was that you are unable to reserve online or ahead of time. So you take a bit of a chance that one of the vehicles will be available.

This review is for the Barrie ON store!! I used to think highly of this place until I bought a fridge. I bough it on December 14th, they promised me it would be delivered before christmas on the 21st. I had no fridge for my Christmas dinner. I did not receive a phone call on the 20th as they had promised. I called on the 21st, They claimed there was no delivery detail and a glitch on their computers. We had to use coolers for our Christmas dinner. They then said it would be delivered on December 28th. Again same story, no record of delivery. I am angry and disappointed on the service. Went into the store and we were told, there's no need for you to come. Fridge will be delivered on December 31st though my fridge is already in Barrie, when the delivery company called, they said your fridge will arrive sometime during the 31st we were third in line! After all the waiting, lies and wasted time we were to wait again. I am angry and this experience has been so bad that I will never purchase anything from Home Depot I dont recommend anyone buy a major appliance there. They were dishonest to make a sale! I bought a fridge from a different major store, they matched the price and delivery was made already. Home depot doesnt care about their customers satisfaction so long as they make a sale!!! Horrible, unprofessional experience, the escalating department manager promised he would call me back and on the 30th and turned out the guy wasnt even working thst day another lie to brush me off!! People be careful of this store promises!!

HD had 63 packs of 4 in stock according to their web site but unfortunately in storage up high. No lift driver was available. The lady clerk was not fazed. She contacted her leader and got approval to package 4 individual canisters for me. Love it. Thanks HD.

Bought an LG dishwasher from Home Depot it was broken on arrival with an error code. Terrible customer service from Home Depot terrible customer service from LG Home Depot basically washes their hands of the problem even though they sell LG products neither Home Depot or LG stand behind their products they don't have a repairman in my area so I'm still waiting for them to figure out how they're going to send someone to fix the dishwasher if it can be fixed they will not take the dishwasher back LG will not take it back and neither will Home Depot. Zero stars for LG zero stars for Home Depot extremely frustrated and disappointed will never purchase appliances from either company again!

Hired the contractor through home depot to put in a deck. should have been done in July here we are Aug 23rd and nothing! this was not for me it was for my mother who is up there in age. She cannot use her front door due to this. I went with a "good" company thinking it would be done quickly but nadda! permits, puc should have all been taken care of but nope not right away took well over 40 days to even start that! Do not use this service if you are looking for a quick and easy fix! sadly i was quoted half from other contractors but went with these guys figuring it would be quick and an extremely good job but again nope... to say im unhappy is an understatement! disappointing really...

Went in asking an employee for a specific item, the employee assured me that the product he suggested to me was capable of doing exactly what I needed it to do. Well, he was wrong. I drove back up to return the item already frustrated. When I got home after returning it I checked my bank account only to notice that a small portion of the money I payed for the item was back in my bank account. So now I’ve got to go all the way back up again just to sort this BS out. The driving back and forth alone will cost me nearly all the money I’m supposed to be reimbursed. This is just absolutely ridiculous and frustrating. I’m very pissed off with Home Depot at this point.would be nice to be reimbursed for the amount of gas I threw away over this whole $H1T storm.

At the time it really saved the day as everyone's assistance meant I did not lose all the food in my old freezer that died ... it was early evening but they helped with securing a delivery truck that same evening, as long as I returned before closing... Ordered and paid for 2 ceiling fan/lights August 28th. Waited 2 weeks for a call from the store as Sudbury had 12 in stock. Sent hubby in to pick up the fans on Sunday as contractor was ready to install on Monday. But, no fans! I went on Monday and my fans/lights HADN'T EVEN BEEN ORDERED! Needless to say, I asked for a manager and left with 2 ceiling/fan/lights valued at $20 more than my original pick. Yup, that was nice, however, they are not what I wanted and I'm appalled that this store couldn't be bothered ordering what I had paid for! Had I forgotten or gone away during renovating, would they have kept my money and done nothing? I'm leery about spending money here again...

Most of the employees are quite friendly and helpful. One long time tool rental employee W, tends to be rude and smart mouthed. Had to raise my voice with him and let him know I'm not happy about his grumpy attitude and smug remarks

Pretty good stock of home renovation items, I'm there regularly and have gotten to the point where I know what area I need to go in the store to find the stuff I need. Some employees though are not as knowledgeable about the area they're working in, but that's not all of them. Best to do your research ahead of time on your at home projects then go in and decide what the best approach is for you with the on site experts.

Please fix or order new dollies. They are unstable and can cause serious injury. When piled with wood one side is unstable and the wood suddenly slides and falls onto the floor nearly missing a customers leg.

Went in a while back to pick up a new tablesaw that I needed pretty badly after mine packed it in, in the middle of a project. After choosing a replacement I was told that the only stock they had was on a transport that was parked at the back of the building. I asked how long I could expect to wait and I was told by the girl that her manager said it would be faster if I ordered it online and had it delivered. I'm not kidding folks. It was on the truck parked on site and I was told to order it so I did... From Amazon. To add insult to injury when I tried to complain to corporate there was no easy way to do it. Since then I have rediscovered Soo Mill and that little move of theirs has cost them 10's of thousands from me.

I went in to find a shelf, and luckily I didn't have to walk around searching for it, I asked someone where they were, they were seated so they pointed me in the right direction. It wasn't easy finding the sale item from the flyer because it wasn't with the rest of the similar items. They put it on the end of an adjacent isle instead. Thankfully the seasoned sales associate was able to point me in the right direction after he saw the look of confusion on my face as I wondered around aimlessly.

Stopped in our local home depot today and have couple comments , we walked in looking for an item and didn't see it so we stopped where 2 employees were talking , one asking the other where something was and didn't bother to acknowledge us standing there waiting to ask one of them a question rather just ignored us and proceeded on their way, on top of that when we finally found someone to ask about the item we wanted we were told they didn't have it even though the website said the day before they had some in store stock but now nothing , very disappointing experience to say the least! Just maybe someone from Home Depot will see this and try to correct our experience someway !!

The most unorganized department store I've ever been to. Things that say they are in stock never are, they have told me on multiple occasions the saws down and cant cut anything, no one answers the phones in any department so you cant even call ahead to ask if somethings in stock or if their equipment is working. It's had the same management for years and clearly thats the issue. I asked where the drywall mud was last trip and was told "probably with the drywall" by a associate on the floor. Only to be walked over to the shelf where there wasn't any left.
